Absolutely love coming here for fishing, nature seeing and walking. Clean and well maintained by the city.

My favorite spot to go to for the river!They have grills, spots to swim, spots to walk and a nice upgraded playground! Very pretty.

Very fun! My boys loved playing in the water and going for a walk down the boardwalk finding birds and fish etc. There is a small playground as well.

Swimming no bugs long time fun. Great riverwalk experince a little short tho.

Gorgeous! I was visiting nearby and came down to enjoy some nature. Small playground for the kids, you can swim (at your own risk) and the river walk is is just gorgeous. A crane flew so close it almost touched my head. Saw a few turtles and fish. The perfect place for a stroll at sunset. If I lived nearby Id be here all the time. Stop if youre around!

The park should be done in the fall! Great nature playground and potential kayak launch in the works. Very fun, on the river and close to downtown Hopewell fun!

You can swim. You can fish off a small pier. You can walk a wooded trail or the boardwalk. Its beautiful. There are two playgrounds. The facility has clean port o potties.

A lot of broken glass mixed in the sand not safe to take shoes off by the water overall my kids had fun they just swam with there shoes on.

Very nice river walk. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because unless you are a local you will never understand the parking.There is a dirt road that isnt wide enough for two cars that takes you to the play ground and river walk. Of course you can park on the street and walk but its still confusing.

The river walk is a great place to take an afternoon stroll, it would just be nice if the playground was a bit bigger : )

This is a real jewel of a boardwalk, especially for a small town like Hopewell. This will definitely draw people.

Lovely, great place for a stroll and a picnic.

Its such a shame that this is a beautiful park where you shpuld be able to take your children to play but as you are walking with your kids some couple pulls up and parks in no parking on top of the sidewalk by the kids play area and starts doing drugs. Its ridiculous and the couple should be ashamed of themselves ! On top of that the whole over an hour we were there a city worker was just parked doing nothing and was there when we left.

The famous Hopewell weeds are so lovely in the fall.
