Correction regarding photos taken for City Point Park! The photos I have seen for this park are a beautiful park located just down the road, featuring a board walk and nature trails at City Point Waterfront Park. Photos below are of City Point Park which is a fenced in community play area.

Hopewell has made a good move towards the right direction. Improving the community and uplifting the environment is exactly what this towns strives for.

I love it here. I fish here every summer. Its a good place to go and relax and spend quality time with your family.

Is a really nice park. Be careful of Hopewell police officers when kayaking here they will arrest you for nothing. Sad thing when the police chase away the good citizens.

Very nice and well put together. The only problem is that pavilion isnt wheelchair accessible with a 3in drop off.

Love going here no matter the weather! Its a great spot to go on adventures, have a picnic, take picture or even get married! My husband and I got married here in between the row of trees by the house during Spring time and it was absolutely gorgeous! We couldnt have picked a better spot and the photos were amazing! I would recommend visiting for a look around if you like history, water, adventure, a quick walk or just to watch the sunrise. Its a great spot to unwind and get back to nature.

Hopewell needs to do a better job maintaining the city parks

Most people go there to fish but most of the time you will get hung on debris an loose your fishing tackle. There are a couple historic homes that you can visit but thats about all they have there.

Interesting place to check out a pivotal point in history. Enjoyed envisioning how the Union logistics were emplaced during the time.

Good historical area, can go fishing and have a picnic. Not a good place after a rainy day though. Has pokestops and gyms also for you poke-goers

When I lived in Hopewell I loved just sitting at this location for hours its beautiful and the entire surrounding area is rich with American history
