We are here for a Thanksgiving Getaway and this is our first time down here. I gotta tell you the resort is definitely home away from home. The grounds were lovely, the property is well maintained and our condo was absolutely lovely.We will definitely come back here as everything was well worth the money. The beach was very well maintained. We were pleased with everything.The only thing I would suggest is I wish they had a small thing of cleaning products in the Condo so we could tidy up on things. I will remember to bring my own next time.Overall, Extremely Pleased with the HHI Beach &Tennis Resort

Great location on the island. FAST, EASY beach access. Property is well maintained and very clean. Tennis courts are very nice, pickle ball courts were packed in the mornings, but we were happy to have access to a tennis court whenever we wanted. Pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it even in November! Awesome view for the great price we paid. Im sure this place is very busy in the summer, but for fall it was quiet yet lots of cars.

The room was smallish but fit 5 adults, 1 preteen, and a baby (the baby did not sleep in a crib). It also had a full kitchen with pots and pans and a full sized refrigerator. Each bed had clean linens and towels enough for all of us. Best part was it was a very short walk to the beach. We were supposed to have an ocean view room but room 108 in section C had no ocean in sight. There is also a playground and swimming pool and plenty of bike paths and bike rentals. Overall I would come back here.

The resort was beautiful, the location was excellent and close to the beach. The room was clean and exactly how advertised.I have a few complaints though that are bad enough that I wont be back.The first is the hidden fees, which in my opinion, should be included in the price of the room. I was charged a $100 cleaning fee and $25 parking fee. I was not told of these fees beforehand, and I had closely read the small print because I have had this issue before.Second, the tv didnt work. When I called the office to see if someone could come and help me I was told that there was no one on staff to help and the lady at the desk didnt know how to help me.Third, I booked an ocean view villa, but my room was on the opposite side of the building from the ocean and I only had a view of the parking lot.I understand that these are privately owned villas, but I cant imagine that there is no maintenance crew on site to help with mechanical issues. And I would expect an ocean view villa to at least face the same direction as the ocean. I called the first night, and no one followed up later to see if my issue had been resolved, or to tell me that the owner had been contacted.

My wife and I are doing our best to come to Hilton Head at least once a year. Were always love the Hilton Head tennis resort. We have stayed here several times I never have anything but wonderful rooms. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting to stay close to the beach with a great small beach access.

Nice clean well maintained pickleball courts. Could use a portable potty. Lol

Lots of good memories here. My past is my past and I no longer live in that. Live for the now because its all I really have promised. The island is stunningly beautiful and I do highly recommend it as a must go to.

Cute condo! Great location super close to the beach and the pool is great to. Love the Pizza at Gatorz! Would definitely stay here again!

Location was great! Now lets talk about the room, the bed was terrible... my back literally hurt every morning, the mattress was like cardboard, for the amount you pay for a stay, you should definitely have a nice bed to sleep in, the electronics definitely needs to be updated, the tvs were so small, they had a VCR player... what year is it, i mean come on now !

Place is good, overall. Limited elevators make coming and going a pain in the butt. The room was great, check in and out was easy and its very clean. The restaurant is convenient but food is hit or miss. Beach access is good and there are dumpsters galore when you need to take out trash.

We stayed at a tennis villa and the family had a great time. We rented bikes and rode them along the beach and throughout the city for dining experiences. The Villa was a close walk to the beach, the kids had their own room with a common area for us to gather, talk and eat. We played tennis and had an overall pleasurable experience. Definitely recommend!

Condo is nice, it is very quiet and peaceful. Close proximity to both the pool area as well as to the beach. Staff and security have been quite helpful.

I stayed here in late September and was very pleased. The service at the front desk was especially good and the manager Carloyn Lee was more than helpful. The condo unit I was assigned looked to have been remodeled in the last few months, and the views were perfect; looking over the pool with the ocean in the distance. Paradice!

Really nice open beach, fun activities and lots of stores and things to do around the area.

Condos are nice. This place all around the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis club is very clean and well taken care of. A short walk to the large pool as well as the boardwalk for beach access. People here all very polite and courteous. Beach is clean. Ocean is fairly warm salt water. Beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Condo A332 was perfect! The condo was spacious and very clean. We loved the proximity to the beach and felt safe inside the resort. I highly recommend the resort and A332.

This place is a good value. It has a beach access, a decent size pool, and out condo had a separate bedroom. The only issues were cosmetic. The bedroom is small, the bathroom is dated as well as the bathroom fan is broken. We loved the movie night by the pool and the food at pool side restaurant was delicious.

I didnt know when I booked that the rooms are privately owned but managed by the resort. The first room I was in, the bed was HORRIBLE. I talked to the front desk and they immediately offered to move me. I tried to stay another night by using the bunk bed mattress on top of the regular mattress. I still didnt get any sleep so I was given another room. This one wasnt a huge amount better but it was some. I dont think either of the beds were actually queen size and Im not sure a queen would even fit in the small bedroom. Overall I was pleased with our stay. We opted to use the smaller, less visited pool as it was closer to our 2nd room. Both kitchens were well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, etc. My granddaughter and I had plenty of towels and the room was mostly clean. I dont usually count baseboards being dirty but if youre paying an extra fee for cleaning, they might want to take a swipe at them. Oh and you do have to remove your own garbage which is a bit annoying. So my one real gripe was the bedding and hopefully the owners will get the picture and at least throw a memory foam on top of the existing mattress. If I visit HHI again, I will probably check on this property first.

The room was good and the folks that rented it to us were very nice, but the service here is really bad. There are a lot of places to stay at (and potentially buy) on Hilton Head, why would I come back if treated poorly? Absolutely beautiful! Amazing beach with so many amenities! There are multiple pools as well as tennis courts, walk ways to the beach, restaurants, and foliage. I will absolutely be back.

My stay here wasnt ideal. For starters, cockroaches are everywhere. Pets arent allowed. And after calling six times for pizza, no one picked up. I do like the large balconies, and the condos are okay (apart from the roaches) but I wouldnt recommend it if you want to stay on hilton head.

Fantastic resort on Hilton Head. Truly a full amenity resort. Islands largest outdoor pool. Poolside restaurant and bar, tennis and pickelball courts, bike rentals, playground, fitness center, on-site sports bar with fantastic food. The beach is one of the best on the island. Location is perfect on the island to get to all the best local restaurants

We enjoyed our first time at HH! The room was clean and spacious enough for our family of 5. Pool was big enough to space out if you got there early! We enjoyed the beach and the daily activities!

We liked the place okay but the food was BAD and very over priced. Loved that the bike rental place was close to us. The staff could be more helpful. Oh the map they give you dont count on it to get you were you want to go. They say there is two pools, we have yet to find the second one.

Paid for ocean view, couldn’t even see the waves, so a little misleading but my main concern was the security guard. We pulled in about 10:30 at night, went to bust a U-Turn to go to the gas station but he aggressively yelled and gestured to pull up so we did, I went to take my seatbelt off to move around better to sign my paperwork to stay and he freaked out telling me no when I tried to take my seatbelt off. White guy, really weird, 30s, takes his job WAY too serious on 08/13/20 @ 10:30pm. DO NOT give this guy a gun and a badge, he’s going to kill somebody one day. All the aggressive police behavior is going to get him in big trouble one day. I’d keep a sharp eye on him.

Simply spectacular place for a family vacation! The condos are so nice and clean and there is the biggest pool on the island, the beach front, tennis courts, lovely park for children with all kinds of fun playground activities there, places to grill out and picnic, and so many spots to enjoy the beauty if nature and wildlife. We loved the turtles and lizards in the ponds! They have so many fun activities for kids like movie nights at the pool weekly, arts and crafts, a waterslide, a pool party, etc, etc and then theres the restaurants...several right here on property with bars at them all. My only critique might be to have pity on the poor smokers and make a free places they can relax in other than the porch iff their condos! But otherwise, I would highly recommend this place also because the price is so very good for what is here!! We plan to make this our vacation spot and this is our second time coming, this time for half a month!

We have stayed at the resort 3 times. And 2 out of the three times the front gate security turned great vacations into headaches over parking. Once with my wife and sister in law whom chose to drive her own car with her children when arriving being told her car would be towed since she was not on the rental with my wife. And the 3rd time we came down we ran into car trouble had to rent a car, we were told we couldnt park the rental car it would be towed that we needed to call the unit owner @ 10 pm, and whos # we did not have . Yes the pool is nice and so is the beach. But you can find those amenities at other places on the island. Read the other reviews and be cautioned that the security guards belive they are a police force. We will stay other at places moving forward.

Fantastic location. Multiple bridges for ocean access. Large pool with an adjacent beach side bar. Resort has a variety of outdoor games available.I recommend getting an ocean side room!

Villa C 327 room is very nice and newly renovated youll love it

Great place to stay in Hilton Head. Happy that they are practicing social distancing here and stay consistent with the masking policy. Lots of fun for the kids, too.

Beautiful beach! Clean condo, just what we needed for a week vacation. Restaurants, food stores and walkig mall all at 2-3 miles out of the resort.

Well I was expecting an ocean view and it should state partial ocean view. Pictures on website are misleading. Very outdated and they show beach loungers with umbrellas and they are no where to be found. Was just disappointed that things were not as advertised. A little too pricey for the quality.

I liked how the property was well taken care of. Also, how everything was self contained in the area for what you needed. Ex: restaurants, stores.

I have taken my family to Hilton Head Beach and Tennis resort multiple times. We love it there ! I cant say enough good things about the property. Clean, safe and always friendly staff, keeps us coming back. If you have never visited before...Give it a try.....You will love it....

I love this resort. The food is amazing, it has a huge ocean front pool with a tiki bar and grill, new lounge chairs. The staff and units are great too.

Terrible. The rooms are very outdated and old. The place does not follow covid guidelines there was so many people on the tiny beach and pool literally ppl next to each other.

Very clean condo, close to the beach, although if you plan on digging large holes or building a sand castle youll have to walk ~1/2 mile across the beach to the beach houses. The condominium doesnt allow large sand castles on their beachfront.

The staff and gate attendants are very friendly. My stay was actually the most beautiful,quiet, serene; vacation that me and my husband have ever gone on. Best adult vacation ever!!!

They gave us an ocean view condo on lower floor. While you could see the ocean it was more tress, grass and dunes. Property needed a lot of TLC. We asked for a queen size bed but, they said since we booked thru a third party they didn’t have to honor that request.

My unit, a gold level, was quite dated. Hasnt been remodeled in 20 years, Id guess. One TV didnt work. The bathtub drain didnt work consistently. The ocean view was terrific. Holly at the front desk provided wonderful service.

This resort is overall ok. The scenery is very wooded and appears pretty gloomy, but the beach looks like many on the east coast. However, the resort is very spread out, and its a decent walk to get to the shore from your unit. Although this allows there to be plenty of convenient places. For example, there are 2 restaurants, tennis courts, 2 pools, a convention center, and bike rentals ALL on the resort!

Was a very reasonable priced condo. Laundry is a walk and is a bit sketchy. They have the playground next to a pond with alligators, with no barriers lol. Was concerning. No hot tub but pool is nice. It was a very budget friendly place for a 3 day trip I went on for a wedding.

We loved that it was easy to access the beach! This location had easy access to everything we needed. There is only one elevator & it was in the opposite end of where we were staying, so climbing up the stairs 2-4 times daily was very tiring. Absolutely loved the beach area! I wish there were public bathrooms though.

The best oceanfront view for a good price. Front desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Most definitely recommend and will come back for future vacations in Hilton Head Island.

Awesome place to stay. We stayed in a nice clean unit that was very beachy. The grounds as a whole were clean and very well kept. Just a few steps to the beach and the pool is the biggest on the island. Great restaurant on the grounds. Will definitely be going back.

My family comes here almost every year and it is great!

My family of 5 checked in on Friday afternoon, staff at check in was great. We ate and visited all the restaurants and bars on the property and gladly paid for the service. Condo was ok for the money, minor issues but ok for a rental unit. Location was great and the beach front Bar were the attractions. Pool was closed, wish we would have known that at the time of reservations, but it was not noted. No A/C Friday night, called Saturday morning and they promptly sent someone over, and after working on it they replaced the Thermostat and we had cold air Saturday night. Sunday checked out in the morning again front staff was great. I asked the lady checking us out if it was ok to park my vehicle out front or in the big lot, as we were going to rent bicycles from the onsite bike rental place for a few hours and ride before we left for home. She said no problem leave it out front, since we had a parking pass we were good. as we were walking to the bike rental stand a Security Officer named G called me over to the main gate and asked if we were a Guest there. I told him we just checked out and was planning renting bikes to ride before we left. He told me we could not leave our vehicle there! I told him the lady at the front desk said it was ok and since we had a pass it should be fine. He then informed we were no longer guests since we checked out. I asked him to call the front desk and he said he did not need to call them, it was a security issue. I was a little upset, that after spending close to a $1,000.00 at this resort for 2 nights he told me we were no longer welcome there. That was 24 hours ago and I am still upset at this Security Guard and the treatment you gave us after staying at the resort he worked for. We are shopping for real estate in the area, and that took them off the list!

Overall it was not a bad experience, but their hiked prices for Ocean-view are not justified. Our room was far away from ocean and one can barely see the Ocean and still the price was high for a an Ocean View. I raised the matter with the manager on property and she showed no concern to my complaint. I even asked for a refund for additional price that I paid for Ocean View and she didnt care.Moreover, they would even charge if you request for additional towels!! None of the description mentioned that there will be an extra charge if you ask for towels.

When they say ocean front, they mean ocean front! The room was overlooking the beach and had a private patio. It was perfectly quaint with a full kitchen geared up with gadgets for all kinds of food prep. Bedroom was very small, but did have a full bathroom. Close to everything in Hilton Head, so location was great for exploring the island. I do NOT recommend eating on site at the resort, got sick from some bad shrimp at the sports bar on the property.

Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort offered the perfect location and rates for our quickly planned not-too-far-from-home weekend getaway. The facility was clean and comfortable and our villa was really quiet. Staff were warm and welcoming and the ocean views, sea breezes and beach access added to making this a very relaxing trip. We look forward to going back!

We were happy with every aspect of AR 205! The decor makes you feel like you’re at home. Having it fully furnished with pots and pans, a toaster, coffee maker, plates, cups, wine glasses, etc made it super easy to make all of our meals. Being so close to the beach allowed us to take short breaks from the beach to have lunch. All in all, we were extremely happy and will be booking a vacation each summer with this condo!
