Such a nice park. Something for every age. Bike hills, big and small. Skate board area. It is huge and so diverse. Well done. Nice kids go there. Small kids are safe and everyone is caring and helpful if someone gets hurt or tools are needed to get a kids scooter fixed!

Great public space! It has a long running track (about a mile) around its periphery and plenty exercise stations along the way, including pull-ups bars for a great outdoor gym workout. Also, it’s well placed on a hill overlooking the mountains to the North. I saw lots of people picnicking during the few days I spent exercising there.

We had fun feeding a squirrel for 30 minutes. He definitely wasnt afraid, he got up to a foot away. The seagulls were coming around 2... Wait what!? Seagulls! Where did they come from? Theres a monument in this park in memory of the first-ever special forces that started in this town. There is a great 45 minute-long YouTube documentary. The playground is huge. It also has a semi-decent view. Theres a lot of green grass and shade. It also has porta potties

Da

I walk the paved loop here, its exactly one mile. You can go off the loop and add a quarter mile. You can stop for water at your car instead of carrying it. Portos are available along the loop. Some very slight hills along this walk on the dog park side. Its the center hub of many trails in Helena so you can ride or walk there too. Water fountains are available for people and dogs at the dog park. There is an exercise circuit along the trail and benches for resting or stretching. Great place for starting exercise or walking with friends.

This park is pretty big considering that its entirely within the city limits. It features a skate park, many soccer and baseball fields, a dog park (with separate areas for large and small dogs), many picnic tables, a playground, some stationary fitness stations, and some outstanding pedestrian walkways that are connected to trails that go all the way out to Springmeadow Lake State Park (passing Barney Park along the way) in one direction, and to Nature Park in the other. It is also adjacent to Carroll College and the YMCA, and is connected to Memorial park via a pedestrian underpass, making it a top-notch, comprehensive recreation destination. This is a fine city park.

I am from out of town and was looking for a place to walk my dog. It was dark and we couldnt find the dog park, so I let my dog run behind the baseball diamonds. (Dont worry...I picked up). We came back the next morning and found the dogpark. It was nice that my dog could have a run. I like that they have a separate area for small and large dogs. My only suggestion is to have a directional sign in the parking area, where the dogpark actually is, because it isnt very obvious.

Four Seasons Park would be an equally fitting name for centrally located Centennial Park. In winter, it is one of the few open, free and accessable outdoor places in town with both a clear path for joggers - amble sunshine - as well as plenty of open space for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Springtime sports decend on the many playing fields, leaving the parking lot full on many afternoons, nights and weekends with many glowing faces. When the heat of the summer is in full swing, community sponsered family-friendly events take center stage - with bounce houses, food trucks and fireworks. In the fall, there are continued opportunities to eat a picnic lunch in the pavilion, walk the dog in the dog park, bike the seperate rugged trails, run the path or simply take the kids after school to the equal access playground. Centennial is a year-round way to celebrate Helenas Great Outdoors!
