Great little spot for a quick tasting. We have never been here prior to Covid-19 so no idea what the norm is. However, we had a nice time and the scenery was beautiful. Thanks for a nice relaxing start to our afternoon.

This is one of my favorite wineries and they did an excellent job making the tasting experience comfortable during these weird times. We got good sized pours and some extra, and the tasting fee is very reasonable compared to other wineries. It’s a bit of a trek to get to here but worth the journey.

A nice drive to get there and very nice visit. On a quiet Sunday morning they took their time. They drove us around 100 year old wines, explaining, telling anecdotes and sitting down for the tasting. Mixing different grapes, local tradition, experience and experiments. Its very appealing that they evolve around what they have and make the best from that. Here wine tasting makes sense...the wines have different characters.Great wine with truffle brie.

Fantastic tour. Unique, interesting vineyard. Josh was amazing and the wine was excellent. Plus, a very good pupper was hanging out in the parking lot.

This place was fantastic. The grounds are stunning and the service is so nice and helpful. It didnt matter of you were a wine buyer for a corporation or, like me, just trying to taste some good wines everyone got the same amount of time discussing the wines. Despite not being a red wine guy myself, all of these wines delivered. Especially the 2015 Monte Bello, which is a stunner. Shout out to Denise who helped us out today and was ultra accommodating.

The location and grounds were beautiful and the wine was excellent. Experiencing the history of the winemaker being one of the first to put California on the wine map and the chance to try the areas Zinfandel offerings was a real treat. Unfortunately a few things spoiled it for me. Our tasting room associate was very knowledgeable and passionate, but a bit crude (which really turned my companions off) and made things uncomfortable. I was just about to buy some bottles but they informed me that they dont waive tasting fees for purchases, unless of course your a club member. The fee was reasonable ($15) but I feel gouged when they insist on charging it when Im willing to spend several hundreds of dollars on their products. I may seek Ridge out at my local wine shop but I left the winery empty handed and wont be returning.

Amazing wines and extremely friendly and passionate host. I accidentally went to Ridge Vineyards at Lytton Springs instead of the Ridge at Monte Bello where I had booked a tour. The host at Lytton Spring was so friendly to sort it out for us and offered us a tasting at Lytton Springs instead. There were two wine tasting options: $10 for 4 wines ($20 incl the famous Monte Bello) and $15 for the Estate wine ($25 incl Monte Bello). Our Australian/American host was so knowledgeable and really made it a fun experience for us. The estate wines are phenomenal and I would definitely recommend anyone to try the Monte Bello as well.

Top notch grounds visit and tasting. For $35 we got two hours of face time in a small (6) group with a very enthusiastic guide, inside and outside. Tasting room is very nice. And of course the wine is great, lots of different characters among the reds even if some of it requires to age a little longer.

Got here five minutes early for an 11:00 tour and was told by staff that the doors dont open for 5 more minutes...not really a pleasant start. I have to say that the gentleman who gave the tour was enthusiastic but it was a bit of information overload. Ive taken many winery tours before, some great, this one not so much unless your a super enthusiast of Ridge. After 90 minutes, we finally got around to to the tasting, and there were the smallest of pours one could imagine. The tasting room was well laid out with good glasses, but it took over 30 minutes to pour the wine and be lectured by the effusive tour guide. There are many better experiences out there in wine country.

Some of Californias best wines. Not cheap, but absolutely a measure ofyou get what you pay for because what you get here is amazing. Ridge wines are especially flavorful and complex. This tasting room samples wines from grapes sourced around Northern California.

My favorite one! (out of 3 Vineyards in my day). the view is beautiful, the wines are good and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.I went back the day after to do the tour (1,5hour) which I highly recommend. It starts in the vines, then you see where the wine is produced and you end by a great degustation.

They are known for their exceptional Zinfandels, but come here and definitely try the cab and many blends they offer. The girl who helped us (sorry I forget your name!) was awesome: knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. Told us shes been there 10 years and started as a bar back/crystal technician.

Ridge makes some of the finest wine in California. Their Zinfandels are phenomenal; great on release, they age with grace. The Monte Bello Cabernet is legendary. Not to be missed if youre visiting the Dry Creek Valley area.

This is how you design a tasting environment! Outdoor seating where the pourer comes to you. Though, not as big a fan of Zin as I used to be, this winery has always been one of my favorites - even before they installed the outside tables.

Ridge is kind of like an oak tree standing firm year in and year out. For over 40 years, the winemaking team at Ridge has crafted timeless age worthy wines cut from a wide swath of vineyard sources in Northern California. From the Zinfandel vines at the northern edge of civilization in Sonoma to the legendary Monte Bello vineyard near San Jose, Ridge offers a wide range of wines that represent the place theyre grown.Weve visited both Ridge tasting rooms a number of times. Each time we visit its like visiting family. They always give us a warm welcome, lots of personal time and quality conversation. Its not just about tasting wine, but the views at both tasting rooms make it easy to settle in for a few hours. The Lytton Springs vineyard and tasting room is easier to get to than the other tasting room. Lytton Springs tasting room is right off Hwy 101. Its worth seeking out and visiting at least once when in wine country.

I loved the experience in Cupertino, each time I went. Amazing wine (probably my favorite Zin ever). Not to mention the views. Too bad they dont ship to Canada :)The best experience at head office in my opinion is to bring your lunch all the way up there and relax and enjoy the views with a 1/2 or a full bottle of their Zin. Life doesnt get much better than that :)
