We had a relaxing time here tasting wine, enjoying pizza and music, and hearing about the area. Very peaceful location with the trees swaying in the wind, bluebirds and hummingbirds flying about, and fountain gurgling! The wine was flavorful and we were surprised to learn it was fermented in concrete!

Had a wonderful time at the winery! The atmosphere and employees were amazing. We had a group of 18 for a tasting and it was handled very well. The wine tasting in the cave made it a special treat. The wine was very good and everyone in our group enjoyed it. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutley delicious wine and food! I highly recommend the 2015 vintages especially the Baker Ridge Pino Noir. If you can stay on their property in the Pino house, DO IT!!! Hot tub and pool in the back yard with the most comfortable beds and they gave us a dozen eggs from their farm for breakfast.

We have enjoyed every visit. Wonderful wines, heard a band traveling through play in the cave with wonderful sound. Met interesting people traveling through. Dry creek is special, and Thomas George is a great place to visit. And tasting delicious wines.

Good Chardonnay. Pinots are very light and acidic. Tasting in the cave does not provide enough space for visitors. Refused to honor VISA Signature 2 for 1 tasting.

Incredible experience. Brought my girlfriend here and called ahead to reserve a picnic table. The wines are incredible and the staff went above and beyond. We were able to get look inside the caves even though they are by appointment only. Will definitely coming back for a reserve Cave Tasting experience! Highly recommended.

Absolutely outstanding experience. My wife and I visited, and Collin was our estate host and he was nothing short of exceptional. Every wine we tried was fantastic. The estate is gorgeous but not pretentious. It was a rainy day in February and not overly busy, so Collin gave us a wealth of information, but in an approachable and friendly manner. We learned so much, and will never taste a Pinot the same! Out of the hundreds of wineries in the area, TGE stands out.

The most miserable and painful wine tasting we have ever experienced in over in 25 years was at Thomas George Estates this afternoon, June 27, 2017. The winery was highly recommended and the wines we had were good, unfortunately the way we were treated by the guy behind the counter was so bad we could not, nor will we ever buy wines from this winery. In 25 years of wine tasting in every wine region in California we have never encountered such a smug and pretentious wine server. There are many other great wineries in Sonoma that should be enjoyed and you will be appreciated.

Thomas George is much better to go to on the weekdays, when they use the tasting room itself. On the weekends they use a fake cave that seems lovely, but screams fake and inauthentic. The tasting room is beautiful, though, and feels more accessible because of the size of the bar. The 2009 Zinfandel caught my taste buds. The servers has great personalities and were quick with pours and with jokes.

A gem! Repeat...A gem winery! This is the former Davis Bynum Estate an early pioneer of Russian River Pinot Noir. Fantastic cave, grounds, tasting room, staff...And...WINES! Call up and reserve a picnic spot too! Fantastic!

This is easily the most beautiful scenery I could imagine. The fact that this winery covers 4 distinct vinyards that traverse such distinct geographical areas make this a treat to visit. They are not a very old winery but they have earned every year of distinction from their inception.I could spend an entire vacation living in their tasting room and just breathing in the lush fumes of wines yet bottled.

Small production winery on Westside road. Lovely facility, with caves available for special events. The wines themselves are small-production and delicious. We just stopped in, even with road construction, and were rewarded with one of our better winery experiences.

Our group of 5 women had such an amazing time visiting Thomas George, tucked away off Westside road and away from the crowds. We started out with a wine tasting in the cave, going through all the current releases. The Pinots were delicious and we all bought several bottles. We then took a walk up the trail in back of the winery into the vineyards which offered unparalleled views of the whole valley - wow, what a sight. Strolling through the vines and chatting with my friends in this beautiful setting was so special. We finally toured the immaculate grounds, from the gorgeous trees in bloom, the cute chicken coop - there are so many spots to stay and have a picnic.I cant recommend this winery highly enough, friendly staff, delicious wines and stunning grounds. What more could you ask for.

The most unprofessional organization! We had planned a wedding there and had to cancel at the last minute due to the wildfires. The winery would not reschedule nor refund the money. The staff turn around is very high which is an indication that there is management and or financial issues. They had lost or misplaced paperwork most likely from the employee turn over.

Shame that the caves werent open but they had a really good pinot noir, so that made up for it the long wait. Really good wines and the service in the tasting room was on point!

Over priced for wines that are way too young ($40 for pinot reserve tastings when theyre all 2-3 years old). Dont copy Napa and turn into an overpriced tourist trap!!
