Very nice park and large play area! Had a good time today on Memorial day 2019!! We will book for the Fourth of July!!!

My first time to this park. Nice size park. Great playground. Accommodates all ages and abilities. There are football fields, pavilions, picnic tables, and plenty of benches. The restroom was nice and clean and it is large.

Its a great park, they renovated it. The playground is just awesome. Before covid it was a full park every weekend. Walking exercisingon outdoor equipment football and soccer fields new pavillions. Great place

The park itself is very nice, well kept, and there is plenty of playground space to go around. There is also a nice field area to play soccer, football, etc. The park is both family and pet friendly, and there is a trail that wraps around the park for walking/running/biking. Additionally, the park is perfect for Pokemon Go players due to the many gyms and pokestops throughout the park. The only downside is navigating the park by vehicle because its a maze of one-way paths.

Very spacious park and always clean and well manicured. Great spot for recreational activities and exercising.

PLAYGROUND RATING ONLY: It is absolutely wonderful ever since they built the new rainbow park it is even better. Lots of play options and it is usually very clean. Basically no frills, no vending machines, it is a true outdoor park. The weather plays a big part in how good of an experience you will have, if it rained the day before...there will be mud. If you need beverages and snacks there is a 7-11 very close(short walk). Lots of sitting for adults. There are enclosed bathrooms, but dont expect anything fancy.

This is a great little park! Very quiet when the jets from nearby Langley Air Force base are not flying. After hours arrivals can be problematic to get the power turned on to the power pole for the campsite. Calling the Hampton 311 service took care of the issue for me.The park has amenities for camping and day visits including a boat ramp. Will definitely be coming back.

Small city park. Very quiet. Well kept.Even though the website and their answering machine message states that they do NOT accept reservations, we were turned away from the lot we wanted (by a maintenance man) because it was being saved for someone else. We didnt feel comfortable trying to park in any of their other lots, due to small driveways, and ditches beside it. A more experienced driver &/or smaller RV probably wouldnt have any problems.

We enjoyed ourselves!! My grand children and my daughter had a ball. The rubber ground, three different playgrounds combined together. Good for all ages!! Sooo Coooo!! One block play ground!! Rest room close by. Awesome!!

Ive been going Gosnolds for years for picnics and long walks for exercise. About a year ago exercise equipment was positioned throughout the park(approximately 10). Four of the pieces of equipment were installed on very attractive concrete slabs near Little Back River Road making them very visible! The rest are mounted in dirt off the road, in mud and water puddles! The one near the dumping station is, and has been unusable because its in a mudhole!! Something needs to be done because they are eyesores and in some cases, unuseable.

My son had a blast here! Huge spacious park. Nice playground!

This was one of the greatest parks ive ever taken my kids to. Simple yet amazing! Something for everyone from toddler to teen! Look forward to coming back!

I had to give it 5 stars. Ive been coming here for 45 years! I have so many memories here, growing up, fishing in the little pond, watching the changes that have been made throughout the years, and now they have a great Lille Park area for the kids, now I take my kids mad grandkids here I hope in the future they will have the same opportunity to take their children as well. I recommend to Everyone. Even have a fitness trail to follow all around the park.Nice little workout when you make it to the end. IF you can make it to the end that is!

Bmx track is fine and the playground is once again open.

The new playground is colorful and imaginative. There are musical interactives and innovative physical activities. The walking surface is spongy. The trees provide good shade.

Was always a good hangout spot growing up. I can give it 5 stars because. They have 3playgrounds now. One that has just opened up within the last month or 2. (The one in the picture) very updated with new swings, very soft composite ground, some kind of rocking boat. A lot of other new playground equipment. Im impressed. Over the past few years they have also replaced the old shelters.

Great for enjoying the outdoors getting a couple workouts in and just becoming one with nature. Cons are they need to remodel the bathrooms they are nasty and not up to par

Nice open green space away from traffic but close to occasional jet noise. Nice dual boat ramp with dock and pier, both in great shape. BMX track all the way at the bottom of the park. Great place to run, walk the dog, fly a kite or play with the kids. There are soccer(regular and small kid sized) and football fields. There is also a nice playground for kids too. There are several shelters you can reserve for a nominal fee.Saturday mornings in the early fall and early spring are pretty busy because rec league soccer and football are going on.

Great little park in Hampton for walking, BMX biking, and pokemon stops for pokemon fans!

This park is always fun for the kids. I wish they could add a little more to the playground part and when you go on the trails be careful, theres a lot of glass and trash. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars

I walk there regularly and enjoy it. The tour around the BMX track and Little Back River is scenic.

Sat and visited with friends at a safe six foot distance. Beautiful day for it.

Really great place for kids to run and play. Handicap accessible playground! Actually there are three great playground grouped together near renovated bathrooms. Large Pavilions can be reserved for gatherings, or just 1st come 1st serve.Ball fields abound. And somewhere in the back there is a BMX park I think. Far side of park is set up for RVs and there is a public boat ramp too.(only 94% confident about boat ramp). Great place to go for a jog or walk your dogs too. Not much shade.

There was lots to play on for the kids. It was clean.

As far as Burger Kings go, this one had some hair in my sandwich, mostly clean floors, and the bathroom was out of order. So the best burger king Ive been to yet!

Great place to go for a walk. Take your dog. Lots of birds and squirrels. New picnic shelters for large groups. One can have over 100 people. 7 Pokemon Go stops.

My BMX track is here, you all should come! Once you enter Gosnolds through the main entrance just go straight and you should find the track. You should also bring your own bike.

The new upgraded playground was great. My kids loved it

I had never been there before a friend took her baby I took the dog my dog lol loved to walking around she really cant get a lot so this help her get exercise

Wonderful place to take your children to play and spend family time together. Toddler friendly as well. Has bathrooms as well as benches to sit and have lunch or laughter or both

This park is a great place to walk your dog, or yourself, if you are looking for a bit of nature to unwind after a long day. It is very well maintained. The park employees are personable, friendly and helpful. Being able to watch seasons change, and wildlife in its own environment so close to city life is an absolute joy. I am in the park atleast 2 times a day and enjoy my time completely. I have made many friends with both dog walkers and those who use the park as an exercise venue. I highly recommend this park for both physical and mental health. Truly a gem to explore.

I have been coming to this park basically every two weeks since 2009. It is beautiful. The playground is amazing and I love the year round restroom they have now. Definitely worth the hour and a half drive.

They have a nice RV section in the back. We had the place to ourselves!

My experience at Gosnold Hope Park in Hampton is always a great experience. The Amenities with the Shelter, Grill, restroom and cleanliness of grounds always exceeds my expectations!! I would recommend this Area for any event.

Great place to run and bring the kids. Play soccer or on the updated playground. Launch your boats and kyaks or come bike on the awesome dirt course

Excellent place for family fun. Gazebos available. Several playgrounds for kiddos and great walks for doggies.

I was a first time visitor, I was so impressed by the surrounding nature there, turtles on the logs,birds chirping, eating areas,and a lake where I fished on the bank.their is a boat landing area,also.

They have three different playgrounds near each for different types of play. The grandson enjoyed all three.

Hampton BMX is an icon. The track and the program has been top notch since the seventies. Go check them out whenever you can.

My only problem is,the restrooms needs hand soap to wash your hands properly.And also the hand dryers doesnt work.

Perfect place to take a toddler to play. The new play ground is wonderful and so engaging now. Also if you play pokemon go its got a lot of stops and a gym

We took our grandson to the play park It is very nice lots of activities for the children. only thing was the amount of bees that was gathered at the trash cans! Concern for those who are allergic!!!!

Love the size of the shelters, larger and better seating than other parks. Plenty of space, bathrooms are attended to, playground is centrally located close to several shelters.

Gosnalds Hope Park is a great park, theres an awesome play ground, tons of space to drive RC cars or kids big wheels or kite flying plus lots of shelters for birthday parties or family reunions.

Neat little place to set up a party or just hang out with family. Lots of space to run for the kids.

Stayed here for 86 Grateful Dead shows & getting there a couple days early me & a buddy got to watch this park transform into a miniature town of sorts. Literally being the first campers there that year we got to pick & choose & ended up making some lifelong friends. Ive actually been back to the park a few times to stay but by 87 we were living outta hotels on tour. This is a great park though & it holds many good memories for us...

Clean and fun!

Stopped in to use RV dump station,very poor design the dump station is higher (and tilts away from the sewer connector making it unable to completely empty the black water tank. I have talked to several people who say the same thing the road beside the dump needs to be raised up so gravity will work or at least be graded so the RV is level. A 5 minute process takes forever here and is a pain in the a** ! I Have called and talked to people in the office before and they said they are aware of the issue, which was last year. Nothing has been done to fix this problem.I grew up in this area and the park itself is awesome, they just need to do something about the dump station for RVs.

This is the best park in Hampton! There is great updated playground equipment, plenty of room for walking, running, biking and boating. Theres even a boat ramp with close parking for truck and trailer. In the back of the park theres even a full BMX track. There is a public restroom, and there are multiple pavilions to have events at a great price, or just enjoy a quiet meal and read, volleyball courts at some of the locations. This park is well kept and safe.

One of my daughters plays soccer here and its a wonderful place for the kids to have activities. Lots of room and always beautiful. And we have rented out shelters here for years for birthday parties, always with great experiences

Used to live just a few miles away, went to the local elementary school. Spent a lot of time in and around this Park. Very nice place to go for quiet time, great place to take your kids. Not far from a shopping center and/or Langley AFB.

Bees everywhere near the playground equipment, trash cans,...Other than that, the kids had a great time playing.Every picnic area/shelter was FULL, everyone/families/friends seemed to be having a good time, and the weather was nice.

This park was really nice, family friendly. I wish it had a dog park or something similar for furry friends around the neighborhood to play in but overall a great park with several picnic areas and and a park area for children to play in.
