Nice store with a lot of product. Prices were too high though. Ended up not making a purchase. Disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit today to The Train Room. They have every piece of train track, train car, or accessory for train villages, that you could possibly imagine. Although it can be somewhat expensive, this hobby has to be the most fun, of any hobby, weve ever committed to. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, and is more than happy to show off his collection and help you with your own collection. Definitely give this shop an enthusiastic two-thumbs-up!

Nice stopping place to view trains and model train layouts. Pricing is high on all items. Would be more likely to purchase modeling items if it wasnt priced so high

Very pleasant surprise! Charles is real train fan, with a well- stocked shop and an amazing Lionel collection in his museum (two large rooms dedicated to not just Lionel trains, but everything Lionel did over the years - a fascinating and well laid out exhibit). If you are a train fan, its a great place to stop - if you collect Lionel, its a must-see stop!

Trains galore! Definitely has a huge selection of everything you would need. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We walked down from the roundhouse museum. The train room also has a muesum display (not hands on or interactive) that has a nice collection of vintage trains and vintage toys.

Nice little shop thats jam packed with lots of goodies. Perfect for the HO scale and larger modeler, not so much for the smaller gauges of N and Z. Its retail so pricing is pretty steep especially on larger items, but thats expected being it is a brick and mortar shop. Owners is super nice and always willing to help in any way that he can.

Absolutely amazing inventory of all scales. Very pleasant gentlemen and not pushy. A toy train to entertain the kids while you shop, not that I have any but there were children enjoying the play train.

Fantastic display of pre-war, post war and modern era Lionel trains and toys. If you are anywhere in the area, I would recommend going to see the museum.

Nice selection, both MTH and Lionel. I was disappointed with prices. Apeared to be list price or above. Was in town on business, saw the store and hoped for a couple reasonable deals. Not really the case.
