Ive been coming to the Y and friar park since I was a little kid. Now I mainly just go to use the gym, and sometimes the pool. The gym has lots of different machines to use, and they are all customizable to each person and each workout. I highly recommend it. If you have small kids that like to swim, the indoor pool has a water slide that is lots of fun.

Entertaining for kids for 2-3 hours, walking paths, seasonal splash pad, Century Village (which is pretty cool and offers open houses a few times each year) and a playground. Everything is free, including parking. YMCA is as located on this property, but you must have a membership to access that facility or the pool. Parking is usually easy to find. The playground is kind of beat up though and there is limited shady areas. There are outdoor restrooms available, but usual only the female one is unlocked. So make sure to knock before entering.

This is a really good park, but it’s obvious that it’s needs a little attention. Great place for kids, the sledding hill is good, kids can fish in the pond and the play area has a cool space theme; if you look on maps you’ll see that it’s done to look like the solar system, complete with the sun, earth, our moon, mars, venus and a couple others.

The busiest Y I have ever been to. I know why,the staff is Awesome, the facility is clean and well kept. There is a negative,it is so freaking crouded every hour it is open that it is near impossible to have a real workout. And the kids run crazy all thru the place... Nice place, not a place to go if you are serious about working out...!

We love the Splash Pad and the fun playground equipment. There is also another smaller playground near the ball parks (towards the back of the park) that is nice as well. The historical village is right in front of Fryer Park, great to walk around. Once a month they hold an open house!

We rented a building for a family get together. The employee came early and opened it up. The tables and chairs were already set up. The building was clean as was the parking lot. Ample parking , the building could handle at least 100 people. Restroom was clean and stocked. Air conditioning was working really good since it was extremely hot outside. There was a walking trail and a pond for the kids to fish in.

Fantastic dog park. Are two pugs love it. We actually take them in with the bigger dogs and they have a ball. There are multiple parts with different weights sizes for smaller and larger pets. Too bad they dont have like a shelter inside of the dog parks so you could have a dog function and picnic 4 family friends or whatever.

Only a 4 cause was stunned on the mosquitos still around. Helping my Grandma one flew in my mouth. Yuck. That aside a really cool interactive park with the musical area. A big pond to walk around and a nice trail to walk. Also warmer temps looked like a good fishing area. I didnt have my one classes so could see if anything was in there though.Oh and a few gyms and Pokestops for those curious. I dont think I hit them all.

I was raised across the street from this park when it was first constructed. It hosts the GC Alumni Tournament, the YMCA is there, a kid friendly, and interesting, playground, a hill to sled on during Winter, and a pioneer village. My niece loves it, therefore I love it.

When I 1st pulled up, I was like ok... But as I actually got out, there was a lot for the kids to do and play with, especially musical instruments. I just wish it had a slide or something for littlier kids. But best of all is they have an awesome splash pad with plenty of space for you to lay out on a towel or lawn chair on the side lines as the kids play. And the parking is right there. One thing is the bathrooms are far from the splash pad.

Review №48

The park has a sporting field for those of us that love baseball. There is a man made lake complete with ducks and benches around the perimeter. There is a jogging path around the entire park. Ample parking for both the baseball field and the lake. What made me first notice this park was in winter on heavy snow days there is a smallish hill that adults/kids can snow tube down. Loads of fun. If you enjoy indoor activity then you have a YMCA membership required. There is an addition worth mentioning . There is a blast from the past complete with characters in costumes of OHIOS settlers complete with typical farms wood cabins and the like.

The park has multiple softball fields, the YMCA, a fishing lake, a splash pad, a community center, a playgrpund, and walking trails, i.e., everything you would ever need in a park. I wish the pavement trail connected through the old time village. The lap around the outside, over through the grass by the village, is just a little over a mile. A great community asset.

Been taking my daughter here for probably about the past three or four months on a biweekly basis. Most of the equipment is probably for ages 5 year olds are above but she does love the sandpit and its starting to get used to splash pad. the splash pad does get a little crazy with all the kids and the excitement of them so if you do have a young one just need to keep a watch. gantz park is probably a park in Grove City thats better for young ones under five or henceroth Park but we still like this one

Not a huge splash park but really fun. The rest of the park is fun as well with a climbing wall, swings( plenty of baby ones too one that the adult and baby can go on at the same time) and much much more. Definitely worth it if you have kids or just want a place to relax.
