We love coming here. We brought our baby here and walked around on the concrete path. Everything is easily maneuverable with a stroller and the sidewalks are wide enough to be able to pass others comfortably. The scenery never fails to impress with the beautiful flowers and well maintained landscapes. They also have a gravel court tucked in behind the parking lot to play games! Looking forward to come back and play there.

Awesome trails and serene environment. Lots of trails to explore and nice little things to see. On our trip there was an older man with his dog playing the violin on one of the park benches. It added to the beauty and ambiance of this place. If you havent been, I highly recommend checking it out.

So there are two sides to this garden.....the formal Bicentennial Garden and Bog garden. The Bicentennial Garden is more structured with flowers and plants, neatly spaced and curated. Then Bog Garden is more of a wooded, natural area with a built up wooden walking platform (which you can exit onto trails). Both are nice, but I prefer the Bog Garden because I like wooded areas. In the Bog Garden is a small waterfall called serenity falls, when we visited there was a couple taking pictures for their 25 anniversary. There are multiple trails and the garden backs up to medium size pond. The bog garden is nestled in a neighborhood, so its a little oasis of nature right in the middle of Greensboro. Its not a state park, but it is a nice place to take a walk on a Sunday afternoon if pressed for time. Check it out!

This is a lovely park to walk around. Dog friendly with poo baggies.amd disposal sites. Clean bathrooms. Working drink vending machine amd free book library available. There is a lovely garden attached with seating and swings. You can also walk across tje street to Bog Garden. The path a minor challenge with a few small hills. It is good for everyone including kids, seniors, and people like me with some physical disabilities. Also has picnic tables. Entrance gates close at 4:45. Can be crowded depending on time of day especially during lunch, nut most people wear masks and there is enough room to distance.

9-3-20 - Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden is more affectionately known to me as the David Caldwell Historic Park, and that is one of the reasons I enjoy walking here so much. Not only is the park beautifully maintained, and a true pleasure to walk in, it also has a museum dedicated to David and Rachel Caldwell. Their lives, before and after the Revolutionary War, were devoted to the earliest families here, and their work was integral in forming the foundations of our city. The park is a true gem right in the heart of the city.

For what it is, a city park surrounded by noisy traffic ... it manages to be quite the serene oasis. Complete amenities, well taken care of, and a pleasant little diversity of nature. Leisurely walking the sidewalk+ trail, there were no bikes to dodge, as they are prohibited. Very clean, very nice!

Gorgeous gardens! This place is perfect for a picnic, a peaceful walk, photo shoots, and those who enjoy nature and history. I can imagine wedding photos turn out magnificent in this place. However, it would also be ideal for maternity and family photos. Its a great place to bring the kids or even share a romantic afternoon together. I saw plenty of couples as well as families there. There are many statues and plaques that share historic events about Guilford county. The wildflowers are abundant and beautiful. We saw plenty of wildlife including chipmunks, ducks, and even an owl. I can imagine the place is really breathtaking once the leaves start turning colors.

The Bicentennial Garden is a beautiful place to walk on a lovely day. The parking lot fills quickly when its warm outside. Photographers use this location for wedding and graduation pictures which can also contribute to congested parking. I frequent this location often and would highly recommend that you visit! It has clean restrooms, but when I visited this time the handicap stall was out of toilet paper.

A great place for a walk! Lots of paved trails, some of which are wheelchair accessible. The garden has flowers most times of year. A newly built mill replica is fun to explore. At the back of the garden are two porch swings that are perfect for a relaxing break from your walk. It’s a perfect spot for a photo shoot, but be sure to get the necessary permits.

Loved it but please ban the smokers. They ruin the nice floral and outdoorsy smells which many of us prefer to enjoy. This park is a gem. Enjoyed the views as well as the sounds of the streams built through the park. Lovely place for a leisurely stroll. There are areas of this park with loud road noise so I can not recommend for someone looking for total peace but it’s a beautiful property.

The Tanger Family Bicentennial Gardens is one of my favorite places in Greensboro! Its beautifully landscaped with various flowering annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees. There are many interesting sculpture throughout the gardens - Free To Soar, The Student, Wings, and Music Stand & Bench are a few of my favorites. The Old Mill is a recent addition to the park and is a free standing water wheel thats very relaxing to watch while sitting on a nearby bench. I really love the Bicentennial Gardens and enjoy taking Josey Wales, my Mini Schnauzer, there for daily walks. I would also highly recommend visiting the Bog Garden at Benjamin Park, which is right across the street.

My family has been going here for 20+ years. There are beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs here year round. All of the plants are labelled. A stream runs through the garden. There is a place where you can have a small wedding. People are always there taking photos for all different occasions. There is an area dedicated to children who have passed away too soon. There are swings, and the bricks there are labelled with the childrens names who went to heaven. It is a great place to take visitors from out of town. It has great walking paths, and the Bog Garden is across the street.
