My experience with this company has been none other horrible. I prepaid my rent from April til July. Lost my job to the pandemic and paid my rent late in the month of September due to financial hardship and was summons for an eviction 2 days after the manager took my full months payment of $889.00. The company then dropped the case and since then has been threatening me about a $270 legal fee I do not owe based on managements poor management skills. Andrea Latham has then had maintenance continue to put notices on my door. One read “ FINAL NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT (IT APPEARS THE HOME HAS BEEN ABANDONED, THERE HAS BEEN NO RESPONSE TO LETTERS, CALLS OR EMAILS,) YOUR LOCKS WILL BE CHANGED IN 24 hours IF THERE IS NO CONTACT. Total amount due $274.87. Which was placed on my door AFTER full months rent along with late fee was paid.The letter was completely fictitious for I just got off the phone with someone from the office. Andrea continues to threaten me with the fact that outside of the normal eviction process she will have me put out of my home. I have then recorded every interaction, call, text message or email. I will be taking them to court for harassment with the amount of unlawful tactics they take in this community. I continue to pay my rent outside of the $274. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO PAYING FOR ANDREAS MISTAKE. She should not have accepted my rent A:If the eviction process had already started. Nor should she be asking me to pay for a case the Company dismissed out of court due to poor handling. I’m disappointed with the way the office has chosen to deal with me on this matter especially when that was my first time being late in 5/6 months even after speaking with company first. I do not recommend anyone stay in a place that conducts them self as such.

Ive recently moved to NC and after a lot of searching decided on McConnell Crossing. Its been 4 months now and I just cant believe how quite it is. Ive never lived in a mobile home community before and I would of never guessed it could be so nice quite. Theres a pond in back and one of the geese had babies around Easter. The sunsets are so beautiful, almost every night the sky puts on its show. I didnt really know to what to expect but I am pleasantly surprised as to how much I am enjoying living in my new home.

My children loves this place..... It took a bit of time to get my keys but management helped me greatly. Thank you again McConnell Crossing for helping me buying my first home

Been here 7 years & never had a problem. But now that management has changed it’s a different place. New manager is rude & try’s bullying tactics when you don’t agree. They make up the rules daily to accommodate them. They lie about everything. I just asked them a question a couple days ago & talked to them a few days later about the same matter got a different lie. Was a much better place before she came. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I care about. I gave 1 star because I couldn’t give a -10.

Nothing to say but wouldnt make this a permanent place to live.

Main office appears to be a Colonial Plantation. The park itself was neater than most mobil home parks. I wouldnt want to live there.

Lived in this community for 5 years. Every year it has gotten worse. little over a month into living here a tree fell on the house damaging the roof and inside bedroom. It took them a year to fix the sheet rock in the affected bedroom after many complaints. since then the deck has been eaten by Carpenter Bees ( 3 years now) Every time we go in to pay the rent we say something. Just went up on the rent again. They dont fix anything thats broken unless you consistently complain about it and then they may fix it. but they will hound you to buy. They would have to reduce the purchase price by a hell of a lot for me to even think of buying.

I own my home and have been here paidxcrs. They have raised my lot fee evsry2 single year. So soon i will be paying the same as a high mortgage payment wven tho my home is paid off. They do not take care od the grounds in a tinely manner. They do not clear thr roads when it snows. . i dknt know why. Lot fee is raised when nothing is done at park in yrs exspt thry ordered a pop machine! . office is never open on time except on the 1st when they want their money. My daughter rents and has called and left countless messages about repairs...no response but thry will be at ypur door on 2nd. With a notice if u havent pa your rent yet. Dont move here unless you plan on moving at the end of your lease or be prepared for am increase every yrs and slow repairs foe their overpriced units. Good luck getting corporate to answer as well. I complained a yead ago about maintemance damaging my shed and yet to have it repaired or get a call back. The icing in the cake was i just noticed my rent went up again for Jan! No notice NOTHING i am contacting bbb next

Its a great place to live except for the freaking management man. Once Elaina (the Russian landlord) doesnt like you, she starts to harass you. Startsbdoing random bogus inspections will flex her right to enter your home without permission. When we first moved here they LOST our deposit and a set of keys. They check the boxes late for rent. They hardly ever come out and fix things. They barely answer the phone and returning a phone call takes 3-4 days. They leave the office unattended at times and work orders have to be placed multiple times before they are taken care of. But other than that its a decent place to stay

If I could give a flat ZERO for this place and the property manager I would! They dont care about the residents at ALL just out to get ur money and kick you out if they feel like it me and my husband moved here a year ago to what we though was a beautiful place for our family which has turned to be a complete DISASTER! The property manager NEVER did a walk thru my home, meet greet or anything and she has very HORRIBLE customer service skills. We didnt meet her until 8 months down the. Road when she came by to do a gold key expection which we had never had done before (which isnt the issue ) she came in didnt speak I was due to have a baby and in the process of moving things around with a 2 year toddler the house was completely not arranged due to it she proceeds to tell.my husband the house is unacceptable without evening asking what was going on although I did explain she came back to inspect days later and said it was fine. While telling us our house was unacceptable our bathroom ceiling was molded and had been leaking for months and no one came to fix it until after this encounter. She then begins to harass us about anything possible but we complied to whatever she asked of us. Well last Monday we get a letter telling us she will not allow us to renew the lease which we had already agreed to start the process of purchasing the home which leave us to be forced to pack our things within 30 days and move out without valid reasons! But yet the tell u to inform them 60 days if ur renewing your lease! Oh and not to mention customer relations department had NO CARE, or concern in this matter just simply we must leave. A family whos paid 9,000 dollars for a home and NEVER late and has NEVER bothered a soul here! DONT I REPEAT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY JUST YOUR MONEY AND ITS VERY SAD! Ill upload pictures of the bad ceiling work they had us living with and then asked us to move out as if we did something wrong and no one even tried to speak with us or anything

Please dont let the ones who are giving this place 4 to 5 stars fool you saying its beautiful. They do go up every year 100 on the lot. They dont fix anything if they do its fixed for a short time. We have been here 17years my wife is 8 months pregnant I am the only one working at the moment. Called told them when they will be getting the lot rent b4 they put in eviction they still put us in eviction there is a lot of break ins, we had a break in I was shot in the head cause they let a drug dealer move 2 doors up from us they thought our home was that home found dead body over here you pay for lot rent but cant park car in your yard cant park on the side of the road there isnt much space so tell me where are we suppose to park very small yard for what they charge the teenagers are the worst McConnell Crossing does nothing to insure the safety of the people who stay here they care about that money not your family and things some people go threw no understanding what so ever the pool they claim they clean it every monday I dont think they so I ever see anyone cleaning so please dont let the good reviews fools it is all lies you would be a fool to move in this place if could give it no stars I definitely would our friend still stay over there pay over 1,000 dollars a month people stay away from McConnell Crossing

I live here except for the rent being too high its a safe quiet neighborhood

Rates are high...owner of some property is not that nice. ALOT of break-ins and also had people peeking through my windows at me while living there. The pool area is great.

Friendly neighbors, maintained grass, no trash blowing around. However, the roads need smoothing out and a few speed bumps strategically placed. Also need Children Playing signs posted.

If I could give less then 1 star rating I would. Break ins and crime going up since I have moved in. Lot rent goes up 1-2 times a year. There was a man shot in his car across the street and died......my daughters room is facing that mobile home and she was home at the time. There is piss poor communication in the office now that we are under new hateful management. A few tenants and I made a payment plan and before we even got to the date we were put in for eviction by the new management without warning. Here is an idea....if you are looking for a new SAFE place to live and see this place.......keep driving and save your money.

I lived here for three years. The management was awful and the other kids in the neighborhood were vandilous. Our house was broken into twice and they changed the locks and told us oh well if it happened again.
