Back before there was pavement at the edge of town. This was the go to spot. I have taken so may pictures. Shared so many memories. Things change sometimes for the better but its not as I remember. Limited access so it still feels pretty isolated from the town. Even though Its no longer a low traffic area it now comes with a lot of visitors.

Another example of a beautiful Greeley City Park. Kudos have to go out,first, to all the folks that maintain the parks and make them as fun, accessible, and beautiful as any city parks, in any city. Secondly, to the City of Greely, for understanding the importance of parks, and by financially sustaining the many parks we enjoy in Greeley.The wildlife is fun, and the fishing can be phenomenal!!

Honestly there werent enough stars to properly rate this experience! The day was gorgeous and it was Halloween. The park was clean and equipment safe and in good working order. There were several children and their family members, plenty of safe areas of play spaces, beautiful green grass, & tables for picnicking. There was a very special event that a wonderful young mother pointed out to us in that Greeley folks had painted a numerous amount of small rocks with little quips & fun intentionally positive pictures to be found by anyone and everyone to keep them or replace where found for someone else to be blessed with the excitement and unconditional inclusion! My family and others joined together...and yes at safe distances...and we all had more fun than could have planned for! Sanborn Park was absolutely awesome!

Its a nice park good little playground for the kids and lots of open space to toss the football or what have you. A good picnic area as well. Fishing is mediocre at best. Hence why it only got 3 stars from me.

This is a beautiful place to go and walk also its great to walk your dogs, its fun for fishing and playing sports also. This place is amazing it is so magical and its the best place for sunsets, love it.

It was nice took my granddaughters for a day at the park which is a nice park but it was windy.. But other then that it wasnt bad at all..

Something for everyone. I walk it 5 days a week with a friend. We see all ages, from older couples who pick up breakfast and gather there with others, to mothers with very young babies in strollers. Theres a volleyball pit and a playground for toddlers, too; and numerous dog walkers of all kinds.For me its been a lifesaver during the pandemic to observe the wildlife and change of seasons.We are blessed to have this park.

Great park to stroll with the pooch and enjoy the ambiance of the lake. Its tucked away from the freeway in a nice little neighborhood. It was quiet warm out there and its September so it was in the low 80s...dress accordingly to the weather thats visible.

Sanborn park is one of the quieter parks with a decent fishing pond. Sometimes it is hard to catch fish out there. The sidewalk is brand new and goes around the pond which is a few acres. There is also a smaller playground there but the kids dont seem to mind at all. Overall it is a great park for an early morning or late evening walk in the summertime.

Nice trail around lake. Central location of playground and restrooms. Well maintained, clean and natural atmosphere makes this a good place for everyone. Good parking in multiple locations around the park. Lake stocked each spring for good fishing experiences.

One of my favorite parts about this park is the fact that it has some great shady spots and a nice good length walking trail. There are geese and ducks in the water every time Ive gone. The bathrooms are well maintained and the playground is great for the kids! The downfall is the parking lot is behind King Soopers and if you dont park there you have to park on the street, its far from the playground and the bathrooms and that kind of sucks. Other than that I like this park!

Nice clean park. Allows dogs which is a nice option if i want to bring mine. There are usually always kids here. Which is a huge plus.

Beautiful walk at sunset. Great toddler playground. Just wish the bathrooms werent locked as my toddler had an accident in his pants at the and its a long walk around the pond to the car in wet pants carry him.

Big park in the middle of Greeley. Features a good stretch of paved path (good for running, even with strollers and dogs), a lake (people seem to fish there but I am not sure if it is stocked often or not), volleyball sand courts, a pavilion (able to rent through city), and a play area for children. Not a bad park and tends to be popular. Decent amount of parking too.

The park is almost ready for foot traffic. The new grass is looking great. Its like a brand new park.

I would say this park is ok. Sometimes it seems that its not in the greatest part of town anymore. The park equipment is decent and the fishing is hit or miss. There is a really good trail around the lake to walk. But its definitely a park we dont visit often anymore.

Walking trails, playground, pond. The pond sometimes has open water and water birds when other ponds are frozen in winter. Birds are sporatic in summer, depending on recreational activities, like fishing or miniture power boats.

I go here to get a piece of mind 2 relax and watch the sunrise its beautiful

Love this place! The kids learned riptide their bikes here. There are two playgrounds and walking around the like is great!

Sanborn is a beautiful park. Green grass, big trees that provide lots of shade, and a lovely little lake. It also has a walking path around the park and lots of picnic areas.

I love this park. It is set away from the road enough that I dont worry about my kids going into the street and there are quite a few tall lovely trees that cast some shade over the park plus the view of the lake and the short walking trail around it are lovely. The last time I was there they which was a couple days ago there were redoing many of the sidewalks and it appeared that they were getting ready to put in space for extra benches as well. Im excited to see how it looks when we return.

Ever since i moved to Greeley, this has been my park. Irs is so pretty with the lake and even prettier when the sun is setting on the water. My kids love the playground. Ive had several bday parties here.

Really nice park near us, very picturesque with the lake, and a peaceful place to walk or run around the lake or a perfect place for a family picnic. The city of Greeley has done a wonderful job with this community open space.

Pretty. Equipment looks somewhat newish. Bathrooms are closed.
