A quiet hidden two-floor gallery within the university dedicated to the work of German-American local impressionist painter Mathias J. Alten. Only open two days a week so plan accordingly. Easy space to meander around learning and taking in the art. Staff did an excellent job in organizing this space.Tip: Local art museum downtown has several portraits by Alten on display too, but not as extensive as this gallery.
