As soon as we set foot inside the space for our tour, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The art, the adorable bar area, the greenery from the on-site florist, the warm glow of string lights, and the vintage seating sucked us in. Not only was the actual space everything we were looking for, but Lions & Rabbits is an awesome part of the Creston community, providing space for classes and the arts and keeping the neighborhood vibrant. Our wedding day was an absolute blast, and the atmosphere was as cozy and intimate as we had dreamed. It was the perfect size for our 100 guest wedding. We barely had to do any extra decorating because the ambiance is pretty much already there! We can’t be more grateful to have found this perfect little spot.

Beautiful venue. My family had an amazing event there last Friday surrounded by art from local artists. They do everything from weddings to celebrations of life, food, drinks and dance. Nice sound system, wonderful atmosphere and fabulous all inclusive event planning by an amazing woman named Hannah who will take care of your every need. Thanks for the memorable celebration of life

Cute, artsy, ecclectic venue for events. I loved the local art decor and big beautiful ferns and lights hanging from the ceiling. Very whimsical feel. It was a nice cozy feel for the CD release party we went to. I really enjoyed the event. Parking was a little difficult, itd be nice to have direction on where to park. All and all the venue was nice.

We had a great time hosting our rehearsal dinner at this venue. It was affordable and Hannah (and her staff) were fantastic to work with. Plus the character of the space worked perfectly with our tropical themed party. Thanks again for helping us to host such a great event!

Son & new wife got married at this venture. Nice place. Nice size for smaller group. Would highly recommend to family & friends.

Staff was very efficient at transforming the place from wedding to dinner to dance reception hall. Food was good and hot. Tables was decorated nicely. Gallery art added to ambeance.

Had a great time at Lions and Rabbits while at a soap making class with Dream Goats! The building is amazing and the art and murals are beautiful! Ill definitely be back soon!

Seems like a really cool space and a good addition to the neighborhood. Havent attended an event here, but Ive been able to pop in a couple of times. I like their coffee pop-up shop and the space itself is well decorated.

Wife and I had our reception at this venue back in March, so Ive had some time to think on what we liked and didnt like about it.What we liked: Location is close to the highway, the space itself is very pretty and functional, great price for a venue and (most) of the art added a unique and pleasant touch to the space.What we didnt like: The owner was a pain to get a hold of. Mother-in-law and wife kept trying to set up a time to check out the space to figure out a layout for the reception and she either would take days to respond (more than 2) or not respond at all (requiring constant communication). The owner also put up a gift shop in the corner of the store about 2 months before our wedding, which took up room in an already small venue and made us have to rearrange our seating/table chart. She wasnt willing to remove it from the space for the day, which was a little frustrating since we didnt know that was going to be there when we originally booked it. Finally on the day of our wedding, we discovered that behind where my wife and I were to sit was a picture of a naked lady (see photo Ive uploaded). While I understand that the art is revolving and changes on a regular basis, it wouldve been nice if the picture was hung up at a different spot/not at eye level so that our family didnt have to look at a naked lady for most of the reception. Thankfully our photographer was fantastic and was really mindful of getting as little of the painting in the pictures as possible (the picture thats uploaded is probably the worst one).Overall would we rent the space again? Absolutely! However some of the things that came up were frustrating and created unnecessary stress during the already stressful process of wedding planning. Hopefully as the owners host more weddings theyll be able to communicate better and have a smoother process, as well as be more mindful of the location of more risque pieces in conjunction with upcoming weddings.

My husband and I got married here and we absolutely loved it! The venue was so beautiful as is that we did minimal additional decorations. Our guests (about 100 of them) fit nicely and had enough room to move around throughout the night!

Loved it! Took a class on screen printing really enjoyed it. Cant wait until I can take another class.

Went to a book signing in august. This space has sooo much personality. The art was wonderful to look at and enjoyed browsing the eclectic items forsale

Absolutely awesome gallery. Wonderful hosts for Dr. Sketchys anti-art school sessions. Lots of great mixed media art available and also they are great participants in the Creston area events which means a lot as a local neighbor.
