ACT is a welcoming community where I’ve felt valued as a donor and volunteer. The staff works so hard to provide programming that is not only fun but also helps artists of all abilities express themselves and grow in meaningful ways. Through relationships with teaching artists and community, ACT seems to truly live out its mission in every way.

Artists Creating Together allows people of all abilities the fundamental right of being able to access the arts. Whether its drumming, acting, watercolor, various forms of dancing, show choir, and countless others, the staff at ACT and the teaching artists show every participant that their voice matters and that their voice will be heard. Thank you for your dedication to not only the arts but to the people you service as well.

Artists Creating Together is such a loving and accepting community. We are so lucky to have this organization in Grand Rapids. The teachers and staff are very accommodating and bring out the artist in every individual who participates. in their programs. My daughter has been involved with ACT for almost a year and looks forward to her drumming class every week!

This place is such an amazing spot! They truly give a safe place to let out your creativity with music and art. With the help of professional artists they offer a variety of classes from drumming, painting, gardening, ect! Grand Rapids is so lucky to have this place!

ACT is a great place for people with and without disabilities to be involved with the arts. I interned here and it was a great experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in their respective subject areas. ACT really makes a difference in the GR community.

I have worked extensively with this organization and can only say good things about it. The staff, board, teaching artists, volunteers, and interns are all extremely dedicated to fulfilling the mission of ACT to empower people with disabilities through the arts and it’s incredible to see in action!
