This is a great place to spend an evening watching some local talent. They have refreshments for sale and quality programming that will keep you laughing and engaged. Be prepared for sporadic laughter and the occasional audience volunteer as well.

Had the pleasure of catching my favorite Grand Rapids cult playwrite, Nathaniel Hobbs, here. I was torn that I missed his last show involving the heirachy of the heavens! But was titillated that I was able to see the latest horror commentary on communism. This is the best venue to experience the raw talented writer that is NH.

Fun, small theatre. Enjoyed Sleepy Hollow (other than the small child behind us talking and yelling through most of it, his mom deserves way worse than the stank eye she received)Entertaining special effects, fun cast, definitely recommend.

We hold our church here every Sunday thanks to the generosity of dog story theater. Come and join us if youd like to experience a different kind of church. The Table For All is the name of our church. All means we are accepting of those who might not be welcomed at other churches

A friend of mine produced his own show with the help of the Dog Story Theater so I went there to see it. I really liked both the play and the venue itself but then again Im not that hard to impress. The most important thing is that I really enjoyed myself that night and might even become a regular.

Great local theater venue supporting local arts and community. I love the funny Halloween shows particularly as well as some of the annual LaughFest and GRIF Improv shows.100% volunteer run. This is a small and cosy black box theater type venue, and I do believe this is a venue only and open to anyone hosting a show, class or event!Close to public transportation and street parking all around. Convenient and walkable to many downtown restaurants and coffee shops if you want to do dinner and a show.
