Compass College is a fantastic school for students who want to actually work in the film and media industry. The amount of hands-on experience you receive is a huge deal, especially for how affordable the program is. As a small marketing firm that has worked with Compass College alumni, the work ethic, attitude, and skills these students have is exceptional. If you, or your son/daughter, is interested in film and media, I would highly recommend Compass College of Cinematic Arts.

I had left in earlier review on here and compass college told me they had hired new staff and gotten rid of the staff causing problems.Sadly this has not seem to be the case as I have heard nothing but negative things from their new teachers, apparently one of them even stealing equipment and selling it for illegal drugs. If you want to go to in film please hear youre going to attend of school do not attend this one. In my opinion the best thing to get into film industries experience look for student films are small films and try to get involved in them. Get a camera and get a team together and make something great!it makes me sad to hear that the school is not improved but if Im a hundred percent honest, it does not surprise me at all.

I attended this school for a short time. The teachers were very rude and very very often let personal opinions get in the way of educating students. If you worked your hardest but a teachers opinions differed from your own, you would get a bad grade simple as that. Ive been told by other students that they are also very homophobic. When I decided to drop out they made the process a headache. One of the staff there named Tom told me I would not be able to be successful in my life without his school. I then immediately dropped out. Dont send your kids here if you want them to succeed in film, let them get experience and please look elsewhere. Im always willing to share more about this, but to sum it up, terrible school with terrible staff.

Lack of communication, very conservative, no diversity from students or staff. The whole school is a literal basement.

Super conservative school and so much lack of communication from the school. Don’t know what your classes will be till a week before and little to no choice on what classes you take.
