Artprize is a City wide art festival in Grand Rapids. Paintings, Drawings, Photography, Sculpture, Mosaic, Music the list goes on and on. Great variety inside and outside local buildings, very well guided and something for everyone.

I am grateful to the people who started ArtPrize. What a sensational way to promote creativity, encourage artists and spotlight tourism in Grand Rapids. It’s a win for everyone. I’ve found the HUB to be an excellent place to get more information and start my anual tour of ArtPrize.

Convenient location and no problem with parking. Especially on weekends.

I love ArtPrize and attend every year. The variety is the most fun part, art and venues including the river. I do have a complaint. I believe it is totally inappropriate to have a piece of art that emphasizes pushing pins in a president, any president, specifically our President Trump. We have a right to an opinion and a responsibility to express it with respect. This doesnt fit the bill as art or responsibility.

Went to go see my old Mentor that used to run the uica but now is the art prize hub right next to right next to the Ferguson apartments in Vernon Berry Place knowing this was spelled wrong but hey still a unique

I exhibited at the prestigious Collectors Show last April. It was a wonderful experience, and reminded me of my exhibitions in NYC.

Art Prize is a gem. 2017 was my first time going and I know Ill be back! Its a great time just walking around and getting to see all of the wonderful art people create!

A great space for the ArtPrize team to logistically put together everything and bring a little order to chaos of which is hundreds of art installations simultaneously open to the public during the event!

Drove to Meijer Beltline store to catch bus ride on Friday, Sept.. 29, 2017 for Artprize. Went in store to purchase $5.00 ride pass as described in many artprize articles only to be to told none are left and only $9.00 passes are available... or look for another way to get downtown. The lady at the service desk said Artprize only allocated a few $5.00 passes.... really, only into week one and no more left????

Good start to your ArtPrize tour. Volunteer staff is not always the most knowledgeable when asking specific questions about venues.

I volunteered for several seasons primarily as a pre-season materials processor, WayFinder, and photographer. I spent much more time as a WayFinder/Greeter than anything else & I had a ball every year.The ArtPrize staff treats its volunteer staff like gold. Thank you ArtPrize for giving me the opportunity to represent ArtPrize & Grand Rapids, MI.

ArtPrize is great and friendly people. I love what ArtPrize has done for the city.

Was there for the ArtPrize debut for 2016. Wonderful event.

Artprize has terrible hours. Seriously close at 7:30 on a Friday night. Apparently whoever runs artprize and comes up with these hours is gearing toward tourist who dont have to work all day and can just check out the venues whenever. Artprize needs to make longer hours and stay open later at night.
