The Bell Street Bridge was built in 1926 so that Bell Street could cross the Yellowstone River. Needs changed and the bridge became too small for todays traffic demands, so it was repaired and opened to the public as a pedestrian and biking bridge in 1992. In 1988, it was added to the Historic Register of Places. We enjoyed our lunch along side it and later a walk partway across its 1350 feet, while watching the river.
We enjoyed the dinner on the bridge by the Gallery catered by Betseys Badlands Catering. The view was amazing, the night was perfect and I would recommend attending but the tickets do sell out quick.
Nice walk , a lot longer than it looks, greathat the town preserved the bridge
Great place to walk & get in some outdoor exercise!
Beautiful! Great little nook hidden away
It used to be a traffic bridge, but now its only a walking bridge for foot traffic only . In the winter its long, very cold, and there is nothing that blocks the wind.
I loved the Walk and view of the river and I really liked the bridge, I believe its a good place for taking pictures and maybe some fishing
Amazing piece of history
Nice and quiet
