Gorgeous, spacious, and well maintained park! Plenty of trees for shade, benches for rest, water fountains, and play areas for children.Parking is a fairly difficult because there is only street parking available, but the nearby Salon Boutique parking lot isnt too far of a walk if youre like me and dont like street parking. It is really the only downside to visiting this park.
My review of Hidden Meadows Park: It is aptly named. It is very quiet and rarely used. It could accommodate large parties very easily. It is tucked behind the north side of Arrow Head Mall in Peoria. The only parking is across the street in a strip mall. The walk to the park is very pleasant as you pass a water fountain, shade trees and archways. There are some grand saguaro cactus with lots of character, perfect for a photo shoot. There is a fence perimeter 3/4 around a big grassy dog area to keep dogs contained away from the busy road on that side of the park. Its not gated. There are 2 huge shaded pavilions at each end, perfect for a big party. Each structure covers 4 sets of picnic tables. Only one has a barbecue grill. Both have bike stands & drinking fountains. Although one drinking fountain was clogged with mud.The play area is sand filled. The equipment looked new and not often used. The walking trail at the East side of the park winds around through grass & trees then the trail changes to dessert landscaping halfway to the West end of the park which consists of just the walking trail. No bathrooms here. I saw no transients camped out.
Nice park with a playground, covered picnic tables, and a walking path. Also, has a good amount of trees with shade. Parking is on the street.
Great quiet park!
An older park aged appropriately for toddlers through 10 year olds. Some sun wear and age on the equipment but still safe looking. A few large gazebos with picnic tables that are great for groups. The downside is the lack of parking. Very minimal spots located on a busy road close to Arrowhead Mall.
It was good. I think there could have been more equipment for the kids. But what they did have was fine.
Very nice park for walks.
Cute little park. My 3 year old had a lot of fun.
Good old times there.
Nice little park. Had lunch with my son then he played after. It was a great idea to make the stop.
Parking is on the side of the street and there are no bathrooms so if you decide to visit make sure to come on an empty bladder. Very poorly lit and very small. Could do with a little expanding including more activities for kids as. Only upside to this park is its not very busy so not a lot of people and/or kids screaming and shouting and one other plus is there is quite a bit of a section of grass for picnics.
I love this park. Its quiet and nice to have a picnic on the grass or grill out.
Great neighborhood park. Great place to do a picnic, party, Ive even seen the military workout here. The only complaint my kids had was that their werent any regular swings, just the baby swings. Other than that, there are pathways to walk, bike, and run.
Disappointed in the playground they took the bigger slide down and they have bad mosquitoes and nats and playground is disappointing and horrible ant problems in the playground area not cool to get bit while watch ur kid play
Clean, quaint park. Two baby swings and two small play areas. Biggest complaint is there are no restrooms.
Nice place for a visit
