Still the same Wet N Wild Park, just purchased by Six Flags and renamed Hurricane Harbor. Great for a day of fun in sunny Phoenix. Plenty of seats to place your belongings, or you can rent a locker for a fee. Kids can get measured at the entrance to receive a bracelet telling them what attractions they are able to get on. No outside food or drinks allowed besides water. Food is available for purchase inside the park

Wife and I are loving this place and the kids are having such a great time here. Staff and food is great. The water park is so much fun and the rooms are well maintained. I think everyone should try this place if they have kids or even if they dont as they have adult slides that are real fun. I recommend this place.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would!! BEWARE!!! Terrible customer service, they are theives that steal hard working families money. We were visiting Arizona with our children the day prior to the state wide shut down order was issued. The next day was to be the first day the park was open and while the pandemic made us a little nervous we were still so excited to give our kids a fun experience. We had to purchase our tickets ahead of time online per the parks guidelines as they were only allowing a certain number of people into the park at a time. Which as a mom sounded perfectly reasonable to me. The purchase of the tickets was over $300, which is substantial when you have five kids at home. Thats a grocery bill!We paid with a credit card and were literally packing up the suits and sunscreen for the next day discussing which rides we would go on first when I received an email Your reservation has been canceledWe were disappointed but understood that with the pandemic and the national shut down order, the park was not going to be open for us to attend. Here is my major issue! They kept our money! I have spoken to Customer service three times and each time it sounds like Im talking to a twelve year old that doesnt know their own polices and when I ask for a call back from their boss or upper management for resolution it does not happen. At one point they told me I was welcome to use my tickets any time this year! We probably will never travel back to AZ! So that does me know good!!We filed a dispute with our credit card company but even that didnt help! How is that possible?? We would have went!! We could attend a park that was not open! Youre telling me that a big corporation is going to steal from the families that help support them? We attend the Six Flags near our hometown on a regular basis and will no longer spend our money there! If management is reading this review, which I doubt you are. My number is listed in your office from my numerous calls. Reach out, leave a message if I dont answer... (Kelly Gussman)Im working to make up the money you stole from us. I will be reporting you to the better business bureau so this does not happen to other families.

Absolutely agree with other commentators this is corporate America at its finest, should be under investigation. I never did get my souvenir cups 4 person, Diamond members with meal plan. Very disappointed this time around. I took my daughter here last year and the experience was a MUCH better one. She is six years old so the big rides dont really apply to her. The big time fun for her last year was Splash Island. Fully expecting this to be a big deal for her this year only to find out that it was not working. Apparently the pumps broke down. This sort of thing happens, but given the fact that a great deal of the rest of the park was also run down, I am having a difficult time believing that this is just bad luck. We spoke with another parent that has season passes and she said that the island was broken the past week as well.Several of the attractions looked run down and in real need of maintenance. This park was purchased by six flags, so I would have thought that it would be of higher quality than this. The price of admission, plus the cost of food, and to be nailed with a $15 charge for simply parking my vehicle .... Only to come in and find that the main kid attraction was down was a real kick in the teeth. If there is any redeeming factor here, that is the staff was all super nice. Quality staff with positive attitudes will only get you so far though. I wont be back, at least until I hear that six flags might want to invest in maintaining the park they own. What I paid for today, I can get for $3 at my local public swimming pool.

I really would give 5 stars for the friendly and helpful staff and for the new mobile food ordering system - it is awesome! We had a great day on Sunday; the park was under capacity and we had lots of room to play and swim without being in close contact with others. Wednesday was a different story. When we got there in the morning it was good, but quickly began filling up and when leaving around 12:30, the wave pool was full of people on top of each other, there were long lines for slides, and the parking lot was as full as any normal day. We probably wont be coming back again until things settle down a bit.

If I could give this place a zero I would for their customer service. I have been trying to pause and cancel my membership since April. I have sent out numerous emails with zero response from them. I have sent them all in a timely manner per their guidelines. First I tried to pause it once they announced that was an option in the spring. No response. Then I tried cancelling my membership once I was in the proper timeframe. Again, no response. They are still taking money out of my account. I will NEVER, ever recommend or visit their parks again.

I think that during a pandemic that it can be hard to rate any place on their functionality and Im not looking to be too rough. However, many of the attractions arent being maintained. This isnt something to be blamed on just a few month of chaos this is years of planned upkeeping that just hasnt been done. The surfacing on the slides havent been refinished. The plaster in the kids areas are coming off in large pieces so it definitely makes you speculate what else isnt being maintained as it should be. Lastly, as we were getting into the lazy river we just so happened to talk to the lifeguard on duty (17 year old male). Who was Overly fatigued sunburned, swollen sunburned feet and in sure need of a break. We asked when he was due for one and he said he had gone a full 8 hours without a break. I wish I would have gone and gotten a manager to go get relief for this poor guy. But it makes you wonder how many of the life guards on duty are working through their breaks and are mentally and physically exhausted. The only reason that Im rating 3 out of 5 stars is because of how kind the staff was. There definitely is a necessity of change within the park.

I’m a new member and I’m enjoying the park for the most part, especially at decreased capacity. But I have one big glaring issue, and it’s that when refilling your Six Flags cup, they use a normal paper cup to fill it, and then throw away the paper cup... so every single time someone fills their Six Flags one, another paper cup is thrown in the garbage. I’m all for the safety during the covid crisis, but I’m so curious to know whose idea this was. Whoever thought of it should not be in charge. I even mentioned it to an employee and they thought it was ridiculous. You could accomplish the same exact thing by just using a reusable cup to fill the others. Big brain management...

Arrived at 11:45, no line. Went through a temperature check, then proceeded to enter. Several lines available to enter as they scan your tickets and take photos of members. Masks needed in all entry lines. Plenty of space to spread out and social distance from other guests. Lines were short and people/groups were 6 ft apart most of the time. Masks not used in line for rides or on rides. Masks needed when ordering and picking up food. The restroom near the lazy river was just gross; it smelled bad and was quite filthy. The restroom near the front was clean and empty.

The wave pool kept taking my bandaid off so if you find it please give it back

Fun, medium-sized water park. A little bit understaffed at the moment, which puts a lot of stress on the workers there and you can tell. Needs a bit of clean-up and more to do. Over-all needs more support to thrive better. Both my boyfriend and I purchased Diamond Elite membership and felt it was *okay* at best. Cool you can get free soft drink refills, but the benefits are.. lacking. Youd think youd get to at least get into a VIP line for certain rides or something but that isnt the case.Food and drink lines were outrageously long and many vendors werent even open. We ended up ordering what felt like fast food, but at least it was free because we had dining added to our membership.. Not many choices in food really since, again, not many vendors were open.Atmosphere seemed to try to be tropical/island getaway-themed, but needs a serious overhaul - more music in places, especially in those long, long lines for those rides. Some of the misters along the ride lines arent working either, so the heat really gets to you climbing up stairs. Almost had an abandoned feel to climbing the stairs if the people in line hadnt been there. Also started having breathing problems climbing one of the towers from overheating. (I have asthma, so that can be considered a personal problem but I digress - if youre like me and have asthma, please please take your inhaler)Unfortunately, a lot of rides were down during our visit as well - Tornado, Lazy River and eventually even the wave pool shut down. That was a bit disappointing for a first visit but maybe next time will be better.Park manager/whomever is in charge: I highly suggest looking into Galveston Schlitterbahns model for ideas if expansion or renovation is within budget. Its not a huge, huge park in fact its similar to this one, but it feels *right* Also it has a hot tub bar! I dont know if they have this design patented or whatnot, but its a fun idea.TLDR: Fun park for a day trip, needs our support to grow. Has a lot of potential, especially for summer. Needs renovation. Long food lines.

Awesome water park. Living in Northern CA prior to this, we were lucky to have Sunsplash right down the street. It started small and grew up, but became way too expensive for what it is.Now, Wet N Wild is not cheap, but there are ways to save money if you try. Season passes are like $59 and a one day pass is $40+. So it pays for itself in the second trip. We also purchased the $10 cup that we can bring back for $1 refills. Furthermore, you can get a food pass that gives you discount pizza as well.Annoying you have to pay for parking but it’s not like a football game. Parking is $7 each time you go.In terms of features, they truly have a plethora for all ages. Of course they have the standard wave pool and lazy river so that’s solid. The best part is the amount of slides for young kids. They have huge areas for the young kids regardless of age.Highly recommend Wet N Wild.(Name choice is interesting but that’s beside the point.) Being a Thrill Seeking Family, this park did not disappoint. Granted, we prefer 100mph roller coasters. But Water Parks like this one (the old Wet-n-Wild before it was bought by Six Flags) has some cool features that set it apart. Namely, they have an uphill water slide and on some attractions, you can ride backwards for a different experience. The lines can be a bit long, but park attendees and staff are nice and keep things calm. The attraction life guards are quite on guard as well: they constantly check to make sure attendees dont overexert or dehydrate: kudos to them!

Its a great place to go if you want to get soaked and spend time with your family. We got the season pass and dining pass when it went on sale, and its one of the best things I have ever spent my money on. You get FREE meals and snacks, unlimited drinks, and its not only for hurricane harbor, but for all of six flags parks. There is a feeling of satisfaction of going to the counter asking for food, and not giving money. You can even go to the parks and just eat food, take a dip at the wave pool and lazy river and not even go to the rides, just eat and chill. As for the hurricane harbor, its been pretty good, Ive gone twice eversince they opened back with the COVID19. All of the rides are now back and running, they have sanitation stations around, they have employees sanitizing dining areas, they try their best to make sure people are practicing some sort of distancing and they try to enforce the wearing of masks, but people will be people and they dont listen, especially to younger kids. Food selection is pretty limited and they have a lot of new employees that clearly show that they are still learning. Im not really sure how they can guarantee any safety from the COVID19, since water is involved. But they do have temperature screening area before you get in the park.If people just follow the guidelines and make sure that they arent showing any symptoms of the COVID19 when they go to the park, things should be good.

We live chatted with an agent who verified that we cancelled our account and was going to escalate the issue. Long story short, we never heard back from anyone and when I went online the agent said my membership was marked to expire in November when it should have been already cancelled. Weve been charged $105 per month for our passes. We have been paying for 16 months now when it should have only been 12 months and cannot get a hold of a real person. We FINALLY were able to get reserved seating, and wondering what the point of reserving is when there are two other families without wristbands taking space. Maybe they have them, but theyre not wearing them and its difficult to get seating either because people dont cancel it (which honestly was difficult to figure out the first time, but it looks like that was fixed.... Would be better if we could do it from the app, not the website - everything in one place!) or its apparently ok to just take seats whether or not you reserved them. Im only pointing this out, because youre really pushing memberships and its already difficult to reserve a small space... This is an extra incentive, it should be checked... Thats all! Since Six Flags took over I can use my diamond pass to get in now and it is fantastic, I love this water park, the food is alright and they have a ton of Icee to choose from on a hot day. The place to be to beat the Arizona summer heat.

I payed for season pass last season and understand that covin19 was not there fault but when I asked for refund because I can not use my passes as intended they flat out said no they offered me no perks of any sort they just extended my pass that I can only use by invitation only which was not what I agreed to when purchasing them

So we came here for a visit and that day was 112 yes it was hot and park is great they have different things than the one in LA seems smaller too, I couldn’t get any funnel cake there even though they have one stand just for that it was closed the whole time so my one complaint about this place is the fact that there’s not enough shade to cover yourself under being that this state gets so super hot they should make more of an effort to help the people that come here and spend their time and money another thing I notice there was plants with long spikes on them all around the place I kinda got scare that kids water and running my just slip and land right on top of one of these plants they are dangerous I think they need to redecorate the area and remove those and put more shades there are not nearly enough!!!

The ride that was supposed to be the best was closed. The kids dont really know how to run the rides well. By that I mean we didnt need to stand in lines for an hour a ride. It could have gone much smoother.

Sunday, went at 4pm , Not enough room for everyone, food line to 2 hours, standing when it should of been quick, food was very good, but they ran out of cheese, no hot sauce, for fry bread... If your going to wait that long, at least tell people what your out of befor they get to the window... need to be a bit more organized, wasted alot of time in food line... every line was like this... alot of food carts not open, I have the season pass with all meals included, by the time I got out of line for fry bread, they were out of food, they were closing??? 530pm-740pm, Well try it again, I hope they fix the issues... no cups/bottles (ran out) for unlimited drinks, I had to go to member services for a drink of water..... you had to wait in the same lines for your unlimited drinks.... staff was nice, but offered no solutions, or compensation. It is expensive, too go... For the amount of people there, no parking, (I thought i had reserved parking) Im surprised people were pretty patient, 2 hours, mayby 2 hours, 10 min, but it was the same for any of the lines, including water rides... the member services area was nice, It was clean, and the were chairs, but thats is the members area, other wise no seats-they have a very fun park If they can get organized, they need to plan for special occasions, get more staff, if they are going to offer deals like bring a friend free, ... season pass holders shouldnt be inconvenienced to this extent, have a members only line? For unlimited drinks? Or food?

Amazon booked the entire park for employees and family on May 19th, the water was just this side of ice cold, but refreshing on a hot day! The rides were amazing, the childrens area very welcoming and heavily staffed with life guards and security. I could not has asked for a better experience. Security removed two for disorderly conduct, but did so without a huge fuss and without reducing the quality of guest experience.

UPDATE: i have visited 5 times this summer and still enjoy it. I highly recommend this park to anyone with a child OVER 42 inches. They are strict on measurements. My son is 41 inches and has not been able to ride anything over 42. There is still plenty for him to do but 42 inches is the key height. The one thing that needs done is some upgrades to the lazy river. This entire season about half of the spray things have not worked. It could also use some more shade and a couple more places where water falls on you along with the ones that need fixing.Everything in my original post is still true.ORIGINAL POST:Just got home from our first trip their. I bought season passes for my son and I. I can understand why ppl say it is expensive if you buy one day passes. Parking is crazy expensive. After 3 trips the season passes will be paid for. Also, you can find discounts for cheaper season tickets if you look around. As to the crowd, like everyone else says, to avoid the crowd and heat go from 10 to 2. At 2 you will start to notice the difference in the crowd.Besides that, ignore all of these bad reviews that say staff is bad or the park is dirty or I didnt get what I wanted... I grew up in Florida at Disney World and this is nothing. The park was not dirty more then what any amusement park is. The staff were courteous and respectful. But dont expect butlers. They get paid slightly more then minimum wage to watch ppl all day long and potentially listen to customers complain all day long.

All rides/slides are always up and running. Staff is quick to take care of messes or issues that may occur. Only issue I really have is with the member services for six flags company not really the park directly. Diamond elite members are supposed to get a percentage off of Cabana rentals. Rentals can be purchased online but you do not receive the discount online. Ive called the park and was told to go ahead and pay for it full price and then come to guest services when we get there and they will reimburse the difference. This is actually an inconvenience. The other option is to purchase the rental in the park for the discount, However they are first come first serve and most rent them online. So by the time we get to the rental booth all the cabanas are sold out. Six flags as a company needs to find a solution to this, as well as the diamond elite parking. Parking has to be reserved the day before and again is first come first serve. This is supposed to be one of the perks of being a diamond elite member. We pay extra to have these special additions yet have to fight to use them. Also the special diamond elite sitting are in the park. Absolutely ridiculous that only the diamond member can sit in there. Im not going to buy my small children diamond elite passes as well (they have silver memberships). So I can go in the special seating area but my children have to find seats elsewhere. Member services needs to find a better way to run this membership program.

My kids and I were very disappointed with our visit today. We waited over an hour for one ride because there were only 2 (sometimes 1) rafts to share between Mammoth Falls and the adjacent ride. These are both two of the bigger attraction rides so I dont know how the facility wasnt prepared with extra rafts. Next the wave pool was roped off at the 5 mark for half of the day, making it less enjoyable for my kids who are 12 and 15. The lazy river was a mess with no order and people not being instructed to exit after one lap when there were people waiting for tubes. The soda fountain area in the food court smelled like old, sour, rotting soda. The cheeseburgers from the buns to the tomatoes to the meat were gross (Im not at all a pickey eater). The one positive were the staff, from food service to the lifeguards... they were all pleasant, professional and seemed to be diligent in maintaining safety. Ownership and perhaps management needs to step it all up or seriously discount prices.

Avoid this place and dont waste your money.Me and my dad came here looking for a fun thing to do on my last day in Arizona that however isnt what we found I swear I have no clue how this place is even in business we went to the wavepool first and for starters the water was disgusting which I guess is forgivable considering how many people go there although Im sure any health inspector would drop dead at the sight of it anyways after getting shoved around by a bunch of people we got out and went to our first ride not expecting too much and we were still let down as we had to wait nearly half an hour after already waiting in line because the ride broke down we wait not wanting to waste time already spent in line we finally go down and move on to the lazy River and before we get in I notice the water is somehow even worse theres leaves and hair and dead bugs everywhere just floating around and they shut it down and kicked us out after we make a single round and as we walk around to find something else to do that same right that was stopped was stopped again and it stopped once more right before we left and thats still not even all the dumb stuff that happened do not waste your money here

Had a great time tonight, very tired but thrilled. I was thrilled to hear that Six Flags had gotten the purchase of Wet n Wild, as the park really needed some maintenance. Looks like they are getting ready to renovate during the off season. A fair amount of rides, with a nice little kid area. Only real issue here is the late night operating times. Its too dark, they may fix this in the off season but not enough lighting on general walkways. Otherwise, safety and queue improvements are looking good. Hope to see what 6F does here.

Never in my life have I rated someone a 1 star but the way this place treated me is absolutely unbearable. Long story short I spent 100 and the wave pool and two other rides weren’t working. I honestly felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I tried being nice and emailing them about my concern since I am not one to blast company’s on here or yelp. 1 week later no response. I called the complaints manager told her about the issue trying to avoid a complain. I just wanted to resolve the issue and she said I was screwed for not having a receipt. Silly me for not keeping my receipt at a water park right? She told me she’d call me few days later to see what she could do. It’s been 1 month now and still nothing. I WILL NEVER COME BACK AND I HOPE NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER. Thanks for stealing my money hurricane harbor...

I am leaving a 3 star review for the fact that the park is run down and out dated. An hour into our time there the whole park broke down due to a breaker breaking. The one breaker shut down the whole park. Six Flags needs to get their issue of the Christmas lights figured out. One breaker disrupts the whole park??? Get it resolved. The rides were very run down, although some of them were fun it wasnt worth the wait. I understand the wait times are out of your control but with a company such as yourself buying out that water park I would hope that you would implement newer rides. Aside from that the staff..Hands down 5 star rating they were absolutely AMAZING and patient. I spoke with the manager and she was an absolute doll. The whole staff were positive and upbeat. The manager was literally being treated like absolute garbage before she helped us and she said everything with a smile and was so kind. Youre lucky to have a team as good as them and with your company being as big as it is, you better hope they stick around.

Once you are actually in this aquatic amusement park you and your family will have fun. The lines are typically long especially over the weekend. A lot of rides for all ages. A lot of summer high school kids who will not advise you before heading up that your party may exceed a particular weight limit as we saw with a couple of groups today. The only time we saw any adults were at the entrance checking bags and signing people up for membership. You will have to pay for parking which is $15, also, if you are military like we are, go on post and obtain tickets through MWR in advance for the least expensive option.

Overpriced tourist trap!!! Lines move slowly, even on a Monday when kids are at school. Wave pool is best part of this venue.. No food or drinks allowed so they can rip off hard working families with young kids with prices like $5.49 bottle of water and small fries for $7.99..No intention of ever returning!!!

Not really that great honestly. Used to be good but that was when I was a little kid when I thought it was so big and awesome. Now its small, not much to do, slow lines, and expensive food. They have a 300lbs weight limit on a ride thats 2 person (you carry a 2 person raft to the top in a long line) so if you and someone else try to go together you must both be under 150lbs. Also tons of trash everywhere and it seems like they try to hide it behind walls.

I have been here 6 times. I have two young kids under 10 and I absolutely love taking them here. It is completely family friendly and there are plenty of rides for all ages. It is all based on height, but there are a lot for all the height groups. Little ones as small as toddlers will love the giant water sculpture with the giant bucket that dumps every few minutes. Older kids and adults will love the huge slides, wave pool and lazy river. Life guards are very meticulous and watch very carefully. I like it so much that, If we lived closer, I would get a season pass.

Overall, this is a fun experience for a family. I go regularly with my 7 and 4 year old. There is plenty for them to do and cool off in the summer.Since purchased by Six Flags, Ive noticed some things seem to have slipped (no pun intended). The biggest is that they seem to intentionally move people through the rides as inefficiently as possible. Examples:- Not enough rafts for rides that use a conveyor to bring them up. It seems like there are 3 or 4 rafts in circulation, so a lot of time is wasted waiting for a raft to come up.- No effort to group people on shared rides. Groups of 2 going alone when there is room for 4. It literally takes twice as long to send two groups of two, so the lines are very slow.- Unexplained closures of rides. It seems totally random how some rides are closed or not working. This just makes the lines and crowds longer for the ones that are working. The park itself is fine overall. The food is pretty good and the meal plans are a great value.Service is what youd expect from high schoolers working in the hot sun.
