I love that this park has a library, a skate park, and a archery. I love the splash pad , and they have a huge Ramada for BBQ , excellent for parties and events on the east side of the park.... any suggestions i would make would to put a baseball field , football field , community center a huge pond for fishing , dog park . I think it would also be really neat to build a dirt bike track .. or even a trail throughout the park for quads , dirt bikes etc, host races or what not , and use the money to improve the park. I think that would attract more people . The park is massive and I see so much potential . It is a great park . Go check it out !!!!

Great place to take the family and have a cookout! There are outlets by the tables too.

I really love this place! It is so family friendly and clean. It has so much seating and grills for there to be ten parties at once. There is enough shade to protect you from the sun rays. There is a baseball field and open field right next to it. I will surely be back here next time I come into town.

I once ran a cross country meet here. It was the 2019 Glendale Showcase Invitational. The course here at this park was overall nice, but it had some downsides. We ran down into the canal area, and the sprinklers were going off during the race, causing mud to build up and people to start falling a lot. I know that isnt apart of the actual park though, so its not going to affect my review. The actual park is nice. I love the shaded area, as it provides plenty of space for hangouts and relaxing. The playground is pretty nice, and it seems to be a fun little thing for younger kids. Bathrooms are well kept, although I wish there were a little more of them. Overall, this park is definitely 5 stars. Im looking forward to running here for the next couple of years.

An excellent place for a morning or evening walk along the canal. Many go there and it helps to motivate you to walk.

Its a big park. Lots of places to let the kids play and volleyball courts,basketball courts. Had fun even in this heat!

Everything that a park might need. BasketBall, volleyball, skate boarding, kids playground, even Bow & arrow range.The only thing I would like to see dine is fill in with new sand, the volleyball courts. Its so low that its almost like playing on cement, slipped and pulled a ham string muscle.

Love that place it has just about everything for the whole family. B.B.Q grills plenty of area for a family gathering or company party or just a get together party. I didnt walk the whole park but I did see some people on the basketball court.

This is a large beautiful park next to local library branch great bike trails/walking trails lots of Greenspace cant use sit down areas due to covid19, but do have some shade tree, ball field. People respectful, parking is decent. Officer station nearby . I was impressed that it is a large quiet Oasis in an otherwise busy chaotic neighborhood.

I sit in my car like today as I am struggling to walk. I normally come here with my service dog grab my blanket and enjoy the outdoord and lay. There are picnic tables covered, its clean, play yards, walking and biking paths. There is a police n fire right near the park and if needed fast response. I like this park too NO HOMELESS PEOPLE. My park near my home cant enjoy it like this one.

Wonderful area. Awesome park with plenty to do and plenty of space for various families around the community.Hopefully with the completion of the library, the park and it’s facilities can expand and connect into the neighboring areas.The amount of open space here is perfect for creating more recreational facilities for the kids and teenagers of the area.

Theres 2 baby swings at this park. The kids enjoy the playground and it is close to the parking lot in case you gotta run to your car. Gotta watch your kids closely tho

I have only been here twice, and it was for the same reason each time. The Ice Cream Run 5k occurs here, and it takes us on a nice path that goes through the park and past the canal. The weather was great today and we had beautiful scenery which included a duck family taking a dip! The only reason for not providing five stars was the litter that was seen along the route.I am not too familiar with playgrounds, but it feels so good on your feet to walk across the blue on the ground near the playground equipment!

Reserved Ramada #4 for family reunion. The cooking area had a sink, which was wonderful!! We were able to use 2 grills at once to get the cooking done quickly for 100 people. Plenty of space to serve and eat separately, playground equipment to keep the little ones busy, shade and picnic tables were in abundance. Couldnt ask for a better place to have our outdoor picnic.

This is a new Library . They just build it. They have many computers that are free using and free borrowed some books, magazines, movies and for kids as well. Kids will enjoy it and have fun here.

Awesome park, lots of parking, several grills and many tables, reservations suggested. Great playground area, archery area, several basketball courts and large restrooms. Plus other areas we did not explore.

A Very nice park.. Excellent grilling areas 5 sections with 4 grills attached. Nice shaded play areas for the little ones to play. Park includes Volleyball and Basketball area. Very clean and Friendly park. Now Im very cautious about using park restrooms but I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5 for cleanliness..

Its an okay park, based on the area its pretty good. The only thing that was gross were the bathrooms. I dont know about the males but in the females there was no soap and a few of the stalls were locked with no one in there. I would not recommend going to this park in the evening. The weirdos start to come out, which are not appropriate for children to be witnessing. There are nicer parks for children, in nicer areas.

My kids love this park. Very cool playground big ramada area, volleyball, archery, bmx park, basketball courts and splash pad.

Love this huge park! It has everything including a splash pad for these hot weekends when my kids dont have school. Its something cool for them to do instead of sitting around watching TV.!!

Cool park: awesome basketball courts, cool skate park, and nice playground. The skate shop sells bottled water for $.50 each. There is also a splash pad in summer time.

Great place for a large group picnic. Came here with several other motorcycle clubs and car clubs, some of which brought their kids along to enjoy the food and play on the playground. Grilling area was nice and shaded, with plenty of counter space to work on. Restroom facilities are also fairly clean.

Its a park nothing more nothing less

This is a great place!! The kiddos get to play at the splash pad and beat the Arizona heat. My Grandson’s had a great time here today. Thank you to the City of Glendale for making a great splash pad/park.

It was great went with my son to drop off some dvds and he picked up some holds he had for some music and pick we picked ip a dvd to watch. Everyone is helpful

My family and I constantly visit this park. It has great volleyball courts that are lit up well. It has a field to play sports, a playground for kids and picnic tables you can reserve.

Its a great little park. Our family loves it for the disc golf course.

Opened at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Parents had masks and kept away from each other. There was about 15 children.

Love that splash pad is free but hardly any seating area for adults. Splash pad open late hardly any shade and this is az its hot at 11 or noon. The play grounds are nice wish there was more for the little ones to play on. I believe they are still building so cant wait to see what is to come

Nice quaint park to take the pup for a walk or ride the bike without the worry of careless drivers. Never had any issues with hoodlums, always seems to be filled with friendly families enjoying the outdoors. Ive even hiked in a cooler and such and took the lady on a surprise picnic. Well worth the visit.

1. Dog park NOT open at all yet...my dog and I were so disappointed-instead was a fenced construction zone area only for upcoming library! I also dont even know how big dog park area will be or if enough land to have separate areas for big dogs and little dogs- which works best. Glendale made it sound like open- should have posted a date as to when dog park opens. 2. NO signs to tell you which end it archery and which end is skateboarding & they DO need signs as one part of park off Bethany Home Rd and other off 83rd Avenue - when walking its big and confusing. I will review again when I can have my dog park and library opens.

We had a family reunion there, the seating area was perfect. Playground was within 50 ft. it was nice to have everyone so close. Am looking forward to more reunions there

Clean park and very well done planning wise as it is very nice compared to some other things in the area. Big grassy fields and a playground for kids. Grilling stations and covered tables available as well. The grills provided are pretty nice too, not like the small little black ones you would normally see around a park, and have plenty of cooking space.

Realy cool place

This park was HUGE however very dry. It needs a park living up because theres a lot of dead trees and grass everywhere. If they improved the landscape it would be a highly approachable park. The play area, BBQ spots, and basketball courts were cool.However the restrooms were the worst; horrible lighting and not clean AT ALL! Pretty disappointing!

Washer broke down so I came here to wash. They had a special for the big washing machines. The problem with this place? Someone used the 8 load and the 10 load machines and just left the clothes there. The attendant could not remove the clothes until the end of the day. This person used just loaded the machines and left. Lucky for me there was just one machine available had to use a dollar more than expected.

The pavilions are nice, shaded plenty of tables. Why would the splash pad not be open on all weekends in September. Very disappointed with that.

This park is great. Some days are better than others, just depends on the other people there. The younger crowds can get rowdy.

Archery targets need some attention, but I love shooting here. Best range anywhere.

Amazing park there is a big splash pad , pound with ducks / fish , play ground , sports areas and a dog park . There is a ton of parking , lot of close parking . The splash pad , play ground and pound are all next to each other witch makes it convenient. The play ground and splash pad have the rubber pad , so no worry about sand or wood chips . The dog park is separate for those of you that are afraid of dogs . Grate place to take the kids on a nice day , sit alone in the park what ever your into. They have it all , seems someone really put thought into this park . All this being said the park does get busy, go early if you dont like crowds.

Awsome place to have a birthday

There is not much things to play with but a really nice place to hang out for a couple of hours. There is a basketball court and a skate park around here as well.
