This park is wonderful! I grew up here. There is so much space for the kids to run and play wjile the adults can sit close by and chat (..tire themselves out so they crash early!!). With this pandemic craziness, its nice to have someplace to go and enjoy the weather

This park is amazing! Its got a baseball/soccer field, playground, and a great Ramada area for picnics and gatherings. But my favorite part is the farm. It was once a very large farm and the family that donated the land to the city had a stipulation: The family home had to be preserved, as well as the rose garden. Before Covid, they offered guided tours. Now, you can self tour the buildings, and there are plaques that tell you the history. Its also great for photo shoots!

Its a big park with a huge Ramada with grills along with picnic tables around the park also with an individual grill. Theres several separated playground equipment, one area designs for toddlers, one with sand, and two with wood chips. There are plenty of large grassy areas. There are two restrooms. It is close to a bunch of historical buildings that you can actually schedule a tour for and then only a short distance further is the main Glendale library. Its easy to spend the whole day there.

I used to own a home across the street from this Park. I watched the City of Glendale work hard to get it to the Historical Site it is today. Not only are the original ranch buildings here, there is a play area, huge area for families and groups to cook and athletic fields. There is access to the library to the north and Glendale collage is to the South. They continue to have a large group of peacocks as well which is a delight for all ages.
