What a beautiful park! I almost wish not to share it with you as I fear it will become overrun with beauty seekers. We went here for a celebration of life for a dearly departed friend. It was the perfect setting for such an event. The park is kept spotless from the trail to the restroom. I cannot wait for another day that I might have time to explore more!

We take part in the Passport2History program and this is one of the museums. Unlike the others, this is open by reservation only. It wasnt too difficult though, you just call and the woman who runs it sets up an appointment. She didnt sound too happy that it was only my toddler and I, but she was able to schedule us with another gentleman who also wanted to see it.Probably the coolest thing here are the grounds. There are nice paths and bells, and bridges that are great for a toddler to explore. The adobe itself was cool, but probably the smallest adobe that weve seen thus far. There were only about 3 rooms to see. There was some cool stuff in there... but as far as available adobes go, Id rate this more an average 3 stars... but combined with the grounds, it for sure gets a 4. Check it out!

Lovely quiet park that can apparently be rented out for events, we went to a baby shower there and it was perfect outdoor venue for the occasion

Small natural park and historical site with oak scrub woodland and the Historic adobe which you can view from the outside only. Also the Oak of Peace, site of a treaty signing which is explained on the plaques there.

When I was there I couldnt go inside the house. I was hopping it would be like a museum. With lots of information and history.

Visited this sight for its historic designation (CHL #637). It is a splendid small, but charming park. It is hard to spot since it is in a heavily sub-urban area --we drove by past several times. Once inside there is a host of history spots to see as well as walking the grounds.

This is a great historical City of Glendale Park. Its very safe and completely fenced in. This makes it great for families of small kids to feel safe and let the kids roam on the little trails that dot this small park. Never fear the kids are always within view (its a small park). The City does a great job maintaining this park.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful grounds surrounding one of the oldest homes in Glendale. Street parking is not the most convenient, especially for those guests that have trouble hiking up the long driveway.

Quaint park in Verdugo Woodlands with the oldest home in Glendale-the Catalina Verdugo Adobe. Docent led tours throughout the year. Also the location of the oak of peace. The tree that used to be there where jose verdugo signed a peace treaty with Us forces. My favorite part is the gathering space surrounded by pine trees native plants md a water feature. Had my daughters birthday there and have been to local neighborhood annual meetings and celebrations there as well. Always a great time. Nice short hiking trails for kids. Finally theres a old bell that is charming too.
