Still beautiful and not crowded (at least on the day I went) the Brand library/art gallery were closed due to Covid, but the Japanese Tea Garden was open (not the tea shop of course). Pleasant place to hang out, relax, get some sun and fresh air. Koi pond was full of multi-colored koi fish, so cute!

This park is gorgeous. It offers tons of things to do. My niece and I did the Seven Trees hiking trail and the views were very pretty. On the way back we decided to check the Japanese Tea House and the Doctors house.Plenty of parking available (we got there at 8:30am).Ill definitely go back.

Very nice park with many different trails for all skill levels. Went up the Seven Trees Trail. Was much more challenging than I expected, especially the final incline to the top lookout point. I didnt use any walking sticks, but most people had them and they wouldve definitely helped on the final incline. There are many different lookout points, places to take pictures, and just to rest. The inclines vary, but for the most part its a steady climb. The views take your mind off the efforts.

My favorite LA park. The hiking is excellent and varied. Plenty of shade trees and BBQ pits. It features a public bathroom that is usually stocked if a bit barren. The Arts & Media library is a beautiful historical building thats a piece of art in its own right.

Beautiful trails, even though some were recently widened by some tractor equipment (probably for fire prevention) and are quite soft, which made it harder to go up and down. But the views are worth going. There are also water fountains near the entrance to trails, Doctors house nearby, and a beautiful library.

This park is a gem located along the foothills of Glendale. A library is in the center and its surrounded by a play field, picnic areas and various grassy areas to relax in. Theres also a Japanese garden area right next to it. In addition, there are hiking trails behind the library. If you want a quick getaway into nature, this is a go-to spot.

I come in on the train from out of town to visit this gem. Each time I discovered a new adventure to come back for.The library and art gallery were a sweet afternoon after a short hike. Came a second time to hike the chaparral statue trail. Well worth the trip. Third visit discovered the unexpected pyramid tomb off the riparian trail. This is a place to bring friends and family to explore.

Its usually not too busy, and has a diverse crowd who all respect the space. The drive to the park is also gorgeous. Truly a hidden gem in the Glendale/Burbank area!

So glad to have discovered this park, which is actually the grounds of an estate that was willed to the city of Glendale when the owner passed away. Theres also a library in the previous home of the owner and its lovely. There is a Japanese garden on the grounds and a historic Victorian home that is open during certain times for tours. If all this isnt enough there are also hiking trails that originate here and the views are wonderful.

Naming it a park is such an understatement. Not only is it a beautiful park, but it is the heart and soul of Glendale with its library and gallery. You can visit the doctors house, which is a Victorian style home with a beautiful garden and Japanese guest house and pond. The main building with a Moroccan(I think) style architecture is very grand and beautiful sitting at the top of a hill.
