We had our Wedding ceremony and reception here at the Walkerton Tavern. Nancy was a pleasure to work with! We had great communication on all our small details and questions we had! She rented a tent on our behalf for the reception and even offered to get in contact with our caterer to finalize some details. We had lots of little changes we wanted and she was so quick to respond and get us answers if she didnt know the answer right away. Derrick was awesome day of the wedding! We accidentally cut the power to our DJ and he helped get it all set back up! The Walkerton Tavern is a beautiful location for a wedding or event!

Cool mansion which is now part of Henrico parks and rec. We went there for the annual Christmas tree lighting festival, and it was filled with all manner of cool stuff. Our favorite was Bob the magician, who was equal parts funny and impressive. The mansion is beautiful inside and has several floors, many rooms, and is handicap accessible. This would be a cool place to rent for a wedding, party, or another special event.

Outdoor concert. Henrico Recreation and Parks staff are professional and really very helpful. Gazebo covered the band and seating on the lawn was fine for some people. For others, some chairs were made available by staff.

Its a house with old world charm. Stuck around modern arts and drama center. If you like history. This has historial background and charm of days past.

I had my wedding reception there almost a year ago and I love it!! If you are looking for a place that affordable but beautiful this is the place.
