Great for 1st dates or just out with your buddies. They have all the great classic arcades. Brought back so many memories and such a good feel to break free from using electronic game. Also liked all the lights and the lit up bar and great selection of beers and cocktails

Went here to check it out. Great experience. A combo arcade / bar. We came during a week night. It had a good crowd. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Highly recommend for a nice evening out to do something new.

The atmosphere is great!! Has a lot of the 80s arcade games, music, lights. The bartender Nate is wonderful very friendly. The bar food is very good I recommend the tacos. They have handie wipes at every machine. If you get a chance to go I highly recommend. Five stars all the way

All of the staff are very nice and professional. The drinks are amazing and there are great deals occurring daily. Kids are allowed until 7pm which means you have a great place in downtown Gilbert to take the family during the day or take that special somebody on a date at night.

️Epic barcade in Gilbert finally! definitely check it out it has every single classic game that you want to play and more. they have at game service and you can walk up to a very cool bar with a good tap list as well as a full liquor selection. Happy hour is daily till 7:00 and they have a legit patio on the side and so far the service is with a smile.

Love this bar! Its the ultimate place to take a date or bring your friends to because theres so many arcade games, and happy hour almost all night! The food is so delicious and I cant complain about the drinks either.Level 1 Arcade Bar is my favorite bartenders and they are so funny and fun to talk to. And also easy on the eyes.

The games bring back some good memories and I had a good time.The downfall is :the place is really small and many games are off due to social distancing. But, the place is so small that social distancing is not possible (I personally thing its a joke, but this another story)On Tuesdays they give tokens when you buy a drink...except when they dont remember.On a good note, the video games are cheap (pinball isnt).I dont think Ill be back

Fantastic place to go they have such a large collection of old arcade games and pinball machines to chose from it is wonderful. On top of the fact they have well prices out drinks and decently made bar food. I truly enjoyed my self each time I went there for it made me fell like a kid again but with booze and good music.

This place was amazing. Great atmosphere, employees James and Kyle were fantastic. We were curious about it and James waved us in, gave us the low down and we were hooked. The food was great and the game choices were beyond nostalgic. Love it and will be bringing many friends back. Wonderful idea!

What a cool place! The bartenders are awesome and they have some really good food. I definitely recommend the fried PB&J its awesome. The have all of the old arcade games I grew up with, and plenty of pinball as well. I will be going back as soon as they open back up.

First time here....this place it fun! Even for adults. Our kids really loved it. The food was very good. Good selection of beers on tap. We always try and support local businesses.....we will definitely be coming back regularly! Congratulations guys!

I was looking forward to getting out of the house and doing something fun but when we got there the bouncer wouldnt let me in because my ID had expired. I havent been able to go back to Utah, and wont be until October, to get it renewed. We explained that to him as well as the fact that we dont drink at all and he proceeded to kick us out. The way I see it is if the TSA is going to let me board my plane in October with an expired ID then I should be allowed into the arcade.

This place would be great except for a few things: 1) a single employee on a Saturday afternoon, 2) a bunch of little kids running around a BAR; and most importantly 3) NO ONE was wearing mask inside the entire 2 hours I was there and the place got crowded. Wont go come back until 2021 at best.

We had such a good time. The drinks were great, everyone was cool with the social distancing protocols (kinda like a gym, just wipe down the machine with the provided sanitary wipes) and they had such a good variety of games! Definitely hitting this place up again.

I been there 5 times and its awesome place. Great selection of arcades and pinball, and some of there food is pretty good and the owner and the employees are very friendly. A small complaint i would make is there 90s pinball machines cost a dollar to play. Im okay that the stren pinball machines cost a dollar. I feel like the 80s to 2010s pinball machines should cost 50 cents because most bars and a few arcade places have 50 cent pinball machines. Other than that I really like this place and I recommend giving it a try.

I have been to this bar/ arcade 3 or 4 times now in the last few months and I have not had a bad experience yet! It is such a fun atmosphere. All of the bar tenders are friendly, especially John. He is awesome, he really made the experience here so much better, exceptional customer service. very friendly and made some really fun/ creative shots and drinks for me and my friends, all of which were reasonably priced.I think the location is great right in downtown Gilbert. plus It is so much fun to get to play old school games and listen to music while drinking. Overall this place is great will def. be back!

It was super clean, and the staff were wonderful. I only drank water (boring, I know) but they were so kind in keeping my glass full! Like seriously wonderful people! I didnt catch any names, but they were just friendly and smiley! And my friends seemed to have a ton of fun at the arcade games. Very happy customer. Also, the baked potato tots were pretty dang good!

I’m from out of town but had the chance to stop in a couple weeks ago. Had a great time! The video games brought me back to when I was 15. This time around I had some amazing Bloody Mary’s.I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. As for now I made sure to tell my friends and family that live in the East Valley to check it out.Also want to give a shout out to your best employee.Her name is Teresa. Don’t know her last name and I don’t know if you have more than one Teresa but the one I’m talking about was very energetic, she has these amazing eyes and don’t get me started on her laugh! What a great spot! My family and I went there on Saturday afternoon (before the 7pm cut off for minors) and had a blast! Great beers on tap, tasty bar snacks (chicken was particularly good), and nostalgic games that were so much fun to share with my kids!!! :) Definitely going back with a whole sack full of quarters!

The classic arcade experience is alive here. The games have been restored to excellent condition. I didnt go to far into their website but apparently the games are rotated monthly. Some obscure games from my childhood like Hard Driving I thought I forgot about brought me back 20 years. Just like when you were a kid games are a quarter. The pinball machines are more. Theres a good selection of drinks too. Overall a great time and now I dont have to drive far for this nostalgia.

When visiting a bar in Arizona from another state, I will always recommend to go fine this man! Nick Kadlec is a customer service god send! It’s nerve wrecking to go out by yourself in another state, but Nick will make sure to make your time out feel like Cheers and like you’ve lived in Arizona your whole life. His drink knowledge is out of this world and just having him in an Arcade bar is a perfect fit for a great time out to relax and forget your job. Go visit this man at level 1 ASAP if you want a good night out!

This place is amazing! Such a fun atmosphere and it offers something so different from the other bars in the area. Our bartender,Mandi, was amazing. We would go back just for her! She made it a point to get to know us our first time there and remembered us when we came back!

This place was awesome! The bartender was great and explained everything. Fried pb&j was amazing and my boyfriend enjoyed his pizza pockets. Plus on Wednesdays after 7pm, if you go with 2 or more people you get free tokens! The selection of games was great. Definitely will be coming back!

Level One is a great place for date night as well as family fun. We drive all the way down from Scottsdale because no one has Level Ones mix of high-tech pinball mixed with the only video games I knew how to play when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Mandi, one of the bartenders, was amazing. She could tell I couldnt make a decision from all the creative drink options to choose from so she picked something out for me, and it was delicious! Thanks, Mandi, for coming to the rescue. The rest of the staff was friendly, too, even the security guy who gently reminded those of us with kids that our 7:00 cut off time was up. We have a bucket full of tokens and well definitely be back!

This place is seriously just what downtown Gilbert needed. When we first heard about this place, we were elated because we love the concept in other locations across AZ and the US.What we really love about Level 1 is how friendly the people here are. My wife and I have met some great people here such as part-owner Scott, server Teresa, server Corey and bartender Aaron. Each person went out of the way to make sure we were having a fun time.Okay onto the drinks. One word. Bomb. My wife and I tried the 2-player drink called “Sub Zero”. It was like an alcoholic poweraid. Try it! We also came in for mimosas on a Saturday and it was a great spot to hang out.The games here are great. Everything you would expect. Love NBA Jam and NFL Blitz. They have the classics such as mortal kombat and DK. Lot of pinball too if that’s your thing. One cool thing that is unique about this place is that the pinball machines on the east wall have video cameras above them so you can watch people play from afar. Really cool idea!Can’t wait to spend a lot of money here for sure... ️Edit: after coming here for a few months now, I love this place more than ever. Really good selection of well maintained vintage arcade games and pinball machines. Stoped in last night with a buddy to play pinball and was happy to see that they have a really good selection of popular titles ranging from 90s classic Bally/Williams up to modern day Sterns. Machines are all in nice shape (no beaters) and play the way they should.Nice place to stop in, have a beer and kill some time.Location has plenty of parking which is a big plus.EDIT: Been back a few times and still really impressed with this place.Games seem to be rotating, so they are keeping the lineup fresh and interesting. Also finally got a chance to try the food. The gyro tacos are pretty awesome.

Love that there’s something to do in downtown Gilbert now! I know the owners personally and know they are listening to the reviews and making improvements to give their patrons the best experience possible. I’m confident the kinks will be worked out in no time and it’s going to be your favorite spot in DTG! :)In response to the reviews about security... they offer a full bar all day and anyone under 21 is allowed with a parent/guardian until 7pm so (by law) IDs are checked at the door all hours they are open. This helps ensure anyone who brings someone in under 21 is 21+ and anyone else who enters is 21+. At 7pm it becomes 21+ only.

Finally got to check out Level 1 for the first time and absolutely loved it, our bartender Nick is what made our visit worth it. You can have a great place but it’s the employees and customer service that make it a place where I want to go, he was super friendly and knowledgeable! We will be back!

Honestly one of the best bars I have been to. From the music to the arcade games, Teresa was our server and she was very attentive and personable. Every recommendation she made, was to our liking and was amazing. I would definitely come back again and I hope to have just as amazing as an experience.

What a fun place! Went out for dinner and drinks in downtown Gilbert and stumbled across this place. Very fun and a good way to switch up date night! Great music and was pleased to see tHat had a list of specialty cocktails. I had “the Mike D” and it was delicious, super reasonable prices for both the drinks and the games ! We will definitely return next time we’re in the area!

This bar is so cool!! Its a lot like your favorite 90s arcade mixed with a slick bar - fun drinks, the food menu is far more robust than I expected, and the service is great. Theres at least half a dozen pinball machines I cant wait to try

We just came in from Chicago and cancelled our flight to stay an extra day enjoying this state , weather and people. Teresa convinced us to stay and make the most of our stay and try our this new jointSoooo worth it!!! Went a couple days ago to check out the new bar. Bartender was very nice and suggest this mango drink for me since I prefer vodka drinks. Nick Kadlec was the bartender who helped me. I liked that the drink had a piece of mango in it! Arcade games were fun I would definitely go back!

This is a great local business that did a fantastic job of pivoting during the covid-19 lockdown. The owners and management genuinely care about the staff, customers, and community, and it shows. The games and atmosphere are amazing, but for now, enjoy the cocktails as adult Capri Suns. Makes the weekend go by fast. Give them a call and find out how to get some to-go drinks to take the edge off quarantine. Cant say enough great things about this business.

Phenomenal drinks & neat fun atmosphere! Many of the arcade games were actually only 1 token to play! The bartender is an awesome guy! He had a great knowledge of the menu which was very helpful! His name was Nick Kadlec.

Always good to see a new place to hang out open up and this is no exception. Staff are top-notch. Owner seems to be very interested in his business. I am looking forward to dropping by again the next time I am in town visiting family.

The atmosphere is cool and there is a large selection of classic arcade games and 10 pinball machines. Pinball is $1 per game which I think is pretty standard these days. Staffing needs adjusting though. It took too long to get a cocktail made at the bar yet there were three security guards at the front door for a place that is maybe a couple thousand square feet. The beer pricing needs tweaked as well. I understand $5-6 for craft beer, but $5 for Coors/Bud Light/Michelob Ultra is club pricing.This is kinda nit picking but the lighting under the bar is WAY too bright. Its so bright that you cant see the menu well if its on the bar. If youre sitting at the bar it almost strains your eyes with the rest of the place being dark.

The drink menu was nothing special, but the game were great it took me back to my youth , they have everything mortal combat , street fighter and so much more .

The mix of pinball tables and arcade cabinets is just one reason to spend an hour or two here. With a drink menu consisting of themed cocktails and classic cabinets that pulled me right back to my childhood this place is totally worth a visit, or two, or more. The place is also very clean!

Excellent beer selection, and I like that they took the time to give all of the cocktails fun arcade themed names. They also have a game suggestion spot, so if somehow your favorite game isnt already there, they will try to get it into the rotation. Nice touch!

We had such a great time at Level 1! All the old games coming back to play, it took a few times to regain my skills but old tricks never die! Our bartender Mandi helped us choose some fun drinks- Odder Pop, Watermelon Jalapeño Paloma, and of course craft beers. She hooked us up with some tokens when one of the machines got stuck and because it was our first time. Probably because we were just her favorite customers haha! The other bartenders were helpful and looked fun too! Very great atmosphere!We will be back to check it out. Its nice to have a different type of bar to enjoy on a afternoon/evening out.

Had the the week of for memorial day so I checked it out, and it was great! Had all the classic games from the arcade days of the past; pacman, NBA jam, mortal kombat, off road, donkey kong, and a bunch of pinball machines. Reasonable prices for beer and good specials for games.

Great bar! I played Indiana Jones pinball and sweet arcade games like dig dug, Simpsons and Ninja Turtles for almost 2 hours for about $10. The beer and drinks are a little pricy but the food is good, I had the chili loaded tots. Super clean space with a great look too!
