Beautiful place to walk

My surgeon at Charles Retina Institute saved my sight. I am so grateful. The staff and support staff that prepare my eyes for treatment are the most professional in the business. However, there is something every patient who visits must understand. That is: you will be there all day. Well it is not all day but youll feel that way. Prepare yourself for reading, working on your computer or making friends. Weve met the nicest people while waiting to see the doctor. Make plans to eat when there. Lunch or a snack is necessary so take it with you.The why it is this way is very simple. First youll have youre eyes dilated and pressure taken - then you wait for x-rays - we call them pictures. Once thats done you wait to see your doctor.Here is the main point. You get all that in one place so that when you see your doctor, they are fully prepared to diagnose and immediately treat your problem. When you leave, you will have a plan to further your recovery.Also consider that these doctors treat conditions that can and sometimes do cause blindness. They do magic at Charles Retina Institute and that takes a bit if time. If you give them the time they will, if at all possible, fix you when you were sure you could not be fixed.Some patients Ive met have depended on Charles Retina Institute for years; some for decades. Ive been there, sometimes twice a week, for over two years now. Just remember when you get tired if waiting ... it is because they are contributing to the quality of life of you and others.

Beautiful walking path along the Wolf River. Wide, paved and brand new in 2016. Part of the Wolf River Greenbelt, extending to the Mississippi River
