Lots of fun for the kids! Most were wearing masks, but there were several adults who werent; it made us so uncomfortable we ended up leaving. But it was lots of fun while we were there!

Great place to come with the kids. Ribs if soccer to play and run around. There are paths for bikes and scooters. They also have your typical slides, swings and jungle gyms.

Great place! Plenty for kids of all ages to do. Needs a commitment from some source to maintain the structure, not just seal off parts that are beginning to wear.

We love it there. We discovered it after going to the Splash Park. Its very clean, plenty of trees to keep some shade, great place for little ones learning to ride their bikes. Has public restrooms ^_^, and I have never seen the parking lot full or too many kids/parents there. I have even seen the local daycare going there as a field trip day.

About 45 minutes to get there from DC, this is a great short trip to get out of the house. Pack a picnic and go play with your kiddos. This playground is the biggest I’ve been to yet. There are public restrooms, places to sit and eat your picnic. There’s a castle a pirate ship. It’s pretty amazing!

Awesome parc! My children, ages 11, 9 and 6 had a blast for a couple hours! Well be returning often. Various play areas, picnic, walking...

Great playground! Ton of stuff for kids to do with good seating and shade. Just go early because it can get really busy especially on weekend afternoons. We prefer to go in the morning before it gets crazy

Great place to let the kids run around. We brought our blankets and laid out in the grass. Of course, we brought hand sanitizer for the kids so they can apply before and after playing at the park. The bathrooms are closed at the moment, but the portapotties were clean.

Cool features, needs a little TLC and good lord so many gnats.

My children lived that the park was open they got to play and exercise themselves after being home for so long.

Marvelous muli-functional public park. A fantastic asset for Montgomery County. My cycling group has used it as a starting point for bike rides through the AG Reserve for many years. The quiet country roads are just down the hill.

So spacious, various playgrounds for various ages (such a great idea). Unfortunately, this park has seen better days and could use a little sprucing ( no much just a little). Some of the attractions have fallen into disrepair...Other than that this park still has tons to offer and with all the fun to be had your kids wont even notice.

Most awesome park there is for Kids! They can bike, play, climb, and have endless fun. Picnic tables and bathrooms also available nearby. Parking is never an issue.

A hidden gem in Germantown. Free, fun, and safe. This place should be packed with fun-loving kids, but its not! There are so many things to do and plenty of room to run around and play. The kids had a blast and I felt safe knowing that they were within shouting distance on all the equipment.

Great playground. Its massive and theres a ton to do. Loads of kids there but with this much space still not overly busy. Clean restrooms and a water fountain came in handy. Its away from the main road with plenty of parking. Great bike path around the playground was great for my little guy to practice riding.

Use to come here 15 plus years ago. My child loved it just as I did. Perfect for the whole family plenty of room to play also bathrooms picnic tables an plenty of shade for the old timers. Park upkeep is good kids will love the experience

We love this place, a lot of places for children to explore amd play with.

This is my 7yo sons favorite place. Its fantastic to have a playground like this in the area. Ive lived in both Chicago and San Diego and cannot think of a similar playground in either area, maybe Balboa park in San Diego... Honestly, calling it a playground almost sells it short. Its more halfway between a playground and a theme park. Theres plenty of shady spots for parents to sit and a variety of play equipment for the kids covering its 7 acre area. Just be aware that injuries are possible on this equipment but, in my opinion, that is a necessary risk for a playground to actually be fun and engaging. Love it and your kids likely will as well. Have fun! =)

Best place for family. Kids and adult both will love to spend some time here. The play are for kids are very safe with rubber mats all round. Kids safety is well taken care here. Ample car parking. You can play tennis and baseball here. Nice place for an walk and cycling.You can spend atleast 2 hours here. Kids will love this place and best in summer you can see lots of people here.

The grounds are very well maintained. It is clean, and the equipment is safe and devoid of defects that a child could get hurt on. This particular playscape is huge, with a castle, tons of woodwork and slides and climbing stuff for the kids. And theres a giant pirate ship, as well. My kids spent 3 hours there and were never bored. They absolutely did not want to leave, thats for sure. Also, for the parents, there a shade trees with benches everywhere to keep cool. Though if you have smaller ones prone to running off, this place is so big you may want to have a parent at either end to keep an eye on the kids, or get up and play alongside your child, because us parents need to have fun, too.

Everything was very good about this place and it was a big place has everything a playground needs swings ,slides ,etc.

Its big and has lots of fun things. Great for kids of all ages. The only bad thing about it was it didnt have a spinny thing.

Expected more, kids enjoyed it but got bored relatively fast. Other kids where having a blast though. Nice trail to ride bikes with kids.

This is a huge playground. Giant playground with multiple sections and good theming. Probably for slightly older kids 5+ but just the theme with a giant castle area and a large boat, and an animal area are fun.

Huge fun park to bring the kids. They offer a little bit of everything here. The only one suggestion would be to have a section that offered a bit more of sensory tools for children on the spectrum. and possibly a smaller play area with rubber flooring

Best free outdoor playground in the area. Plenty of parking, public restrooms and usually an ice cream truck are there.

Great place to bring the kids to play, plenty parking, the only dissapointing part is restroom are close during winter season, where should we bring the kids to do their needs when they need to?

It is very safe. Add more swinging discs. There are wasps nests in wooden play houses and cars.

Large play ground with play areas for both little and big kids. Does need more swings though.

Amazing place my 6 year old and 12 year old loved this place deff will be coming back worth the drive clean bathrooms which makes everything better !

My favorite playground for my son. Kids from all backgrounds play here. They even have wheelchair accessible equipment for kids with special needs.

So much to do! My kids loved running from one place to another. Its not your typical playground. And my husband loved that he could fit in places he usually doesnt so that he could more closely monitor our kids and play with them as well. Ample parking and always an ice cream or snowcone truck around.

One of the BEST playgrounds in the DC area. I’ve taken my kids to a number of highly rated playgrounds, but we keep coming here because it’s (a) large and there’s lots to do, (b) targeted to the 5-12 year old group, (c) there’s often a small group of kids already here = kids to play with, but not overwhelming.

This is by far one of the best tot lots Ive been to in Montgomery County. Plenty of parking, clean indoor bathrooms, and huge areas for the kids to play.All of the equipment and sets were in working order and decently maintained.Im so glad I discovered this park, I cant wait to explore the other areas of the greater park next time.My family and I will definitely be back as the weather gets warmer!

The Adventure Playground of Germantown is a very nicely layered playground. There are several levels of play offering different levels of complexity to the different age kids. Lots of of seating all around the park to offer good parent supervision vantage points based on their kids choice of play zone.

Nice and spacious park, a great place to take a toddler. Its big, but note that in the summer months many families will be there as well during the weekend, meaning that despite the many different park pieces (swings, see-saws) theres a fair chance that the equipment likely will be used by others as well. For this reason, weve only gone a handful of times, mainly when there is some sort of event or activity in the broader park area.

Lots of different equipment for the kids to enjoy and my older one loves the big castle in the middle. The only problem is if you take more then one kid it is very difficult to keep track of them due to the size of the castle and the slides going off in all directions. All considered it was a fun place and we will go back.

Great big playground with plenty of options. There is a large castle, flanked by a large ship, both with many slides, stairs, ladders, and rope ladders. There is a rock wall, swings and percussion instruments. My 3 year old love it, Im sure she will enjoy it even more she gets a little older. Oh, no castle and ship combination would be complete without a sea serpent.

Great playground for both young kids and teens. Big place so it can be hard to keep track of all the kids. Trails nearby if you want to walk. The bugs are pretty bad if you just stand and watch, but when you move around it is a really fun place with obstacle course, a giant castle, a rock climbing wall, picnic tables, and swings. Enjoy!

Great playground! I cant believe I didnt know it was there until recently. My 3-year-old had a great time non-stop for about two hours even in the cold. The two big structures are a medieval castle and a ship, and there are many swings, play cars and trucks, and some of those big blocky xylophone things. I also like the big map.

Clean grounds, good environment and plenty of games and space for the kids to have fun.

Great place with lots of options. Could use more swings though. And lots of bugs, them little ones that just run into your face.

What a great park! So much for the kids to explore and do. ADA accessible. Great sensory and auditory sections. Highly recommend. Just bring a blanket to sit under the trees. And wear sneakers! Wood chips and sandals dont mix.
