5 out of 5. Would recommend. Spent a couple hours walking on the black and brown trails. The trails were a little muddy but there was a lot of rain last week. The facilities look nice and well kept. Ron Swanson would call this, A very good park. Ron would like that this park is not free to enter but Im sure hed pay the $5 to Look at a duck.

Nice trails. Plenty of parking. Cute pond. Ice skating. Year round out door fun.

Quite a lovely little park with nice trails- some of which are paved and thus more accessible.

I truly enjoy the Park daily. But it is difficult to leave the park. At the entrance(exit) the trees on both the east side and the west are growing out towards the road. It is making it difficult to see oncoming traffic as we try to enter the flow. Please send someone to sit. In a vehicle and see the restricted view first hand. Then please trim them back accordingly.thank you for your excellent care and work to make the Park the BEST in the county.

Mary Ann and I went for a walk on one the beautiful paved trails. This is a well maintained park that we enjoyed very much.

Always an amazing place to take my dogs to the park and on a hike, or hang out with my friends. Lots of different stuff to do, no matter the season and never overly crowded.

The only positive is that its big and fenced in. The people who made this may have had good intentions but they didnt know Jack about dogs. One, theres no signage besides the entrance signage for where exactly the dog park is located. Two, once you find the dog park you realize its way in the back. Three, there is no water source for the puppers. Not a fountain, nothing, so the dogs cannot get water which is actually pretty unsafe. Four, not one person was wearing a mask. And lastly the trashes were huge which implies that they arent taken out regularly which means they stink awfully.

Good place to gather with enclosed areas. Walking trails are a bonus.

This gorgeous park has an intricate trail network leading through beautiful wooded areas and scenic ponds. Although it’s a rectangular-shaped park, it doesn’t feel like one. Its designers have managed to fit lots of recreational options inside it. There are several large soccer fields, lots of picnic places, and plenty of secluded areas where you can get away from it all.

Homestead Howl Dog Park is very nice. Off-leash. Lots of room to run. Wooded area for extra smells. 2 different areas for small and large areas. Plus several hiking trails.Currently its very icy. Wear your ice cleats.

Visited once. Trails were snow covered but well maintained. Paths were early marked. Sledding hills look fun. Dog park was active.

Great place to hike with the family around the numerous trails. Beautiful pond and also has an amazing fenced dog park.

Great park to visit.We primarily use it for the dog park and playground. The dog park is split for a big dog/little dog area. The playground rarely busy and plenty for my 4 yr old to do.

I love the park. Love the dog part of the park. The trials need to have maps in the areas, they didnt have pamphlets or maps when on the trails. I ended up being lost for 2 hours with 5 kids and had to ask a person from her yard/house how to get back to the parking lot by the barn. Your trails are marked but without a map around its not a marker its a post with paint.

Love walking our dogs there. Just would be nice if all would clean up after their pets.

Fun hiking adventure

Doesn’t seem to be well maintained but it now cost 5 dollars to get into this public park. Yes I wonder where my tax money goes b/c even a small park like this you have to pay just to get it.. want to use the pavilion gladly pay more again just to reserve a spot.

Good Park systems

It was a great little area, my cousin just had a wedding ceremony there. It was awesome, highly reccomend area for all types of gatherings!

It is a fun park and all but the pond is gross and needs to be cleaned up. The weeds are way overgrown to the point that you can barley see the water. The maintenance crew NEEDS to clean all that up.

Great park! $5 to get in. Lots of trails to walk the family and dogs. Mixed variety of paved trails and non-paved trails. Basket ball courts, playground, volleyball nets, soccer field, and dog park!

Recently added fenced in Dog Park. Dog park is a reasonable size, though not the biggest I have seen. Many friendly dogs and friendly people there regularly. Only bummer is you have to pay admission as of Jan 2018, but that is a change to all Washington County parks so it is not exclusive to this park. We bought the yearly pass from the county for $30 so we dont have to pay every time. Park is neat and clean and trails are well maintained, its a family favorite.

This is a great park. Too bad the county now charges anyone who goes here so I dont come to the Washington county parks anymore unless there is a fee free event. Good playground, lots of space. Saw photographer and a wedding party here once.

Great off leash dog park with a grassy area for play, some trails to explore, and a second field for running around in. Plenty of bags are available for picking up after your dog. Separate play area for small dogs. Its new in 2018 and is a little gem.

Just moved to the area, took our daughter to play in the park and got a $50 ticket in the mail. $50 for my daughter to play in the park and it goes to $200 if we dont pay it... Never going to this place again.

Awooooooo! Awesome,. But needs to be kept a little bit cleaner.

I enjoy going to this park. It is close to my house and I can go there, throw a blanket down and crochet in a nice quiet atmosphere. The hiking trails are nice as well but they are pretty short, so of you plan on a day-hike, this is not the place. I also like that you can rent out the numerous shelters for parties and events. The basketball court needs A LOT of work though.

This park used to be a great place to go to let your kids play and relax a bit. Now they think that the playground is worth $5 a day. Used to meet family here but now we will find a different place to go. Was especially disappointed that after we paid the $5 the park was full of garbage and run down

This a beautiful park with really nice walking trails. Except some people are going to ruin it for others. Their is a ordinance that ALL DOGS must be leashed.{Their is signs stating it} I walk my puppy there every day and EVERYDAY I run across people that think they dont need to follow ordinances. My 5 month old puppy has been bull rushed three times now. Yesterday the owner didnt even bother to call dog back. Just apologized once he got up by me. On top of that people are not picking up the dog waste. {Again, Signs all over stating pick up your dogs waste} Their is dog waste everywhere on trails and soccer fields. Just really sad that a few people have to ruin a good thing for others. Soon this beautiful park will be like others and not allow dogs, And I will only have these people to thank for that!! I give 5 stars for this beautiful park but wont give one star for people that bring their dogs there and not take care of them!

One of my favorite parks! It has an assortment of paths through the land there with a diverse layout (woodlands, marshes, and prairie). Plus there is a big picnic area with a playground for kids.

Love the new dog park. Trails and park can get soggy, always bring decent shoes or boots.

Absolutely love this park. Had my wedding photos taken here. Used to live right next to it so Id hike there most days. Excited about the new dog park!

We have our family picnic there annually. (for the past 6 years) It has plenty of parking, and electrical service inside the building to keep food hot in crock pots. Flush toilets and clean bathrooms. Great playground for the kids, volleyball pit and space for yard games. We always clean up after each event. It has worked out very well for our gatherings.

Beautiful park however there shouldn’t be a fee... it’s a county park, not state park. The playground is so-so, but the pond is beautiful.

Best place to go and enjoy the wilderness in the Germantown area. Gets a little wet after it rains though so be careful.

Beautiful small park with lots to offer. Large play set for kids, lots of paved walking paths, several soccer fields, and a fishing pond. Homestead Hollow also has several buildings which can be reserved for events.

A very compact and well maintained park. Nice sledding hill in the winter.

The pond is great for water loving dogs. The play ground is well maintained and the barns are great for gatherings.

Homestead Hollow is a great place to bring the whole family for a walk in nature. Add it to your Green Therapy!
