This was a lovely park! Never been there before. Took my twin grandchildren (3 1/2 years old) and they had a blast. Lots of tall, mature trees. Nice and shady. Two separate playgrounds with lots of opportunity for climbing, sliding and swinging. Very peaceful and fun experience. Highly recommended especially for toddlers up to age six or seven.

We had an amazing time. My Kendall loved it. And we found a 901 rock too. That was pretty cool . Thankful Howard McVay Park!!!

A great park for taking your dog on a short walk on leash. Shaded playground areas with short trail and partly shaded sidewalk around pond with 3 fountains (& ducks, geese, fish and turtles). About 15 min walk or more if you do laps. Places to sit, grill, and a covered pavillion for parties.

Several cracks on the trail. Not suitable for skating or roller blading. Quiet park, if you want it quiet and want to meditate.
