Beautiful park with plenty of space and things to do. A few very nice playgrounds for children, beautiful paved path the follows alongside the lake, great for biking. Plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout, very clean and well kept. We really enjoyed it with our toddler.

A beautiful and scenic place for a picnic or a just a walk. If one has a boat, a jet ski, canoe, or kayak, you would not be disappointed with an excursion on the water. Water looked very clean for a very enjoyable swim as well. We did some fishing ourselves which was very peaceful and pleasant. Didnt produce much but then again they call it fishing, not catching. Highly recommend it.

Splash pad, playgrounds and picnic areas were nice. The beach was not good because it needs to have the algae cleaned up so the rocks arent slippery and people can actually swim. Its great that it takes a long time to get deep and the water is warm but cant actually swim because it needs to be cleaned up. Its too swampy.

We had a mother & daughter picnic. Havent been at Seneca Lake in a long time. Now you pay $7.00 at the booth as you go in.nice clean park & a water park for the kids. Alot of trees for shades.Over all had a good day. Will go more often.

It’s a beautiful park with the beach access. If you want some time alone with yourself then go for this place. It’s attached to finger lake welcome region so you will have more access to fun activities.

Such a lovely place! The playground was so fun for my kids. The water was peaceful and the temp was great for swimming. We were able to swim out far, while still being able to stand.

Great park! The breeze is great even on the warmest days, making this an ideal place for a picnic. Plenty of space and a great deal of road space for parking. Love spending time here. Everyone was respecting social distancing.

Kids love the sprayground and playgrounds. The beach is not bad either

Beautiful, relaxing, spacious, and close to other great places in Geneva. We drive over an hour just to spend a couple hours here. Park along the lakefront road and walk along the waterfront where there are also barbecues, benches, tables, and a lot of space for kids and dogs to run. (While easily maintaining 6 feet of space.) Ride bikes, jog, go to the beach area and swim, and, once it is once again safe to do so, take your kids to several awesome parks along the way. There is even a waterpark, which hopefully will open again soon.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town. This beach was quiet, cheap to access, the amenities were great, the water was warm and there were lots of trees and picnic tables which was nice. Be warned there was a lot of grass on the bottom of the lake so swimming was a little gross...

Seneca Lake (north end)has so much public access now, and is so well kept up that it is truly a pleasure strolling here. So much more than Canandaigua lake! You can walk or ride your bike, there is plenty of room for everyone. Bring a picnic, get an ice cream. Your dog will love it and make lots of new friendsbest times are early morning or in the evening. Lots of doggie cleanup stations available.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. So peaceful and so much to do. Very clean and just so nice!!

Nice facility, very well maintained. We kayak and paddle board on the canal, nice quiet area. They have a long walkway along the lake, sandy Beach, playgrounds and splash zone for kids. Great park.

Beautiful place, love what they have done with the parks and put in the I love NY sign. I used to not like going that much because there wasn’t a lot to do but now it’s awesome. My kids had so much fun there, the new park they put in has a lot of cool features. Highly recommend it.

A trip to Any of the finger lakes is like going to church....we are so lucky to live in a area that is so beautiful and so pleasant...see your Blessed...

Beautiful and so much peaceful. Extremely scenic. Ideal for Photographers specially sunset shots are marvelous.

The beach wasnt too crowded and had a large area to swim. The depth of the water was only waist high when you walk out quite a distance which is definitely different from most places. The only downside I saw was the shoreline had algae washed up at first foot of the shoreline. After the first foot of water, the water was mostly clear and refreshing.

Beach is large, the park is awesome, the spray park is great for the kids when the sand gets to be too much! Only complaint is the spray park closed down every hour for a 20 minute bathroom break.

Very clean. Wide open camping. Needs more woods. Had to park on gravel. But couldnt reach electrical. Lucky we had heavy extension cord. Some shade behind us.

It is a really nice park to take your family to enjoy the outdoors. There is something for everyone to do. Fishing, swimming, water park and play grounds, trails for walking running or even riding your bike. You can even launch your water toys. My complaint is the main road through the park is really bad with pot holes (craters). You would think with the money they make the road would be better.

Great park for a walk. Pretty small but offers great views. Seems to be pretty popular with the kite boarders and wind surfers. Cool spot.

Amazing place for a picnic or a family outing. You can sail in the lake. People were swimming as well. They also have small barbecue grills. Amazin place to spend a lazy fun weekend.

Great place for a walk or an afternoon jog. Its a good idea to wear sunglasses, because the sun can get in your eyes depending on which way youre facing. Beautiful views, though.

Its definitely one of the beautiful State Parks in New York State. A must see.

Was good until they male you pay at the park and the launching ramp I recremend going to the chambers instead.

We have our boat docked at the inland harbor marina on the canal thats connected to seneca, my family and I have had the most amazing time on Seneca lake this year its beautiful ,clean and and the water is so clear I dont think will ever go back to a different lake !

Beautiful and serene with lots of seating by the water, walking and biking paths, fishing, outdoor picnic areas, summer concerts by the water, local beer and wine at the visitors center, boat tours and ice cream !

There was a boat party and concert going on! but the water had some fish and seaweed in it so it wasnt the most pleasant to swim in

SLSP is a great place to sit back, relax, unwind & just enjoy nature. A great place to sit & watch the sun set & the moon rise over the lake. We take our dogs here to run, swim, relax & play. Just an overall enjoyable place to go. U can take in the sites & cookout all at the same time.

New road to travel on to the boat launch was a huge improvement along with a new cleared out area to walk down and enjoy more of the lake along the canal

I have visited the park few times in the past two years. The park is long and narrow along the lake, very beautiful scenery and gorgeous trees. Extensive facilities provided involving picnic areas, playgrounds, boat docks and more. In the summer time its possible to swim along the seawall.

Found it 2yrs ago and ABSOLUTELY love it!! ..Has a Latfe Spray Park with Lake Front Swimming, tables and Picnic Areas. It has Walking Trails along Lake Front. Very Relaxing

Something wrong with the water here , shouldn’t even be a charged to get in the state park. So many dead fish that washed up on the shore line DISGUSTING! water smells so badly.

I live the fact that the state/city has put in resources to add more value to the park. Great place to run, walk, bike, fish, grill, picnic... just spend time with friends and family or just reflect by yourself. This park has a lot to offer with the new welcome center positioned right before it.

Beautiful trails and playgrounds.

We visited the Geneva area in mid-August and loved it. Was it perfect? No? I dont expect perfection. I do expect effort, and I saw workers early in the morning at the state park, cleaning bathrooms (and they were immaculate at that time. What happens when patrons soil the place afterwards cannot be blamed on the workers), manicuring lawns, emptying garbage cans, etc. This is a city/state park and it is well visited. Ever been to NYCs Central Park? Theres trash, people, dirty bathrooms, etc. If you want perfection in life, youre going to be miserable. We enjoyed the lakefront, the concessions, the wine, the people, the pizza (and were Long Islanders), even the Chinese food. Perhaps those who found so much fault with the area should opt to visit the Spam museum in Wisconsin, or some such place. We loved it. It is a gem.

Great place to bring the 4 leggers for a good walk, as they can sniff everything to there hearts content. Also great place to help relieve some stress.

One thing I enjoy about this STATE park is the road you can walk,bike,jog, along the lake for quite a distance. Scenery is beautiful. The only thing I noticed that caught my attention during my walk is that their were kids swimming in the designated area without seeing a lifeguard on duty. I would hope the park would tell people no swimming allowed without a lifeguard on duty. This park has so much potential to be one of the best state parks if run correctly.

Geneva hit a home run with there lake development. We walked the whole thing from the hotel to the marina. Such a beautiful park with many activities for anybody. Nice beach, multiple playgrounds, and pavilions. Nice paged party for walking or running. Really wish other area lakes had the for thought Geneva did!

Great place, but don’t you dare fall asleep while enjoying the view, reading, etc....or bored,meddling noodle heads will call Seneca counties finest and tell them you must be dead because nobody sleeps in that position. The lifeguards are totally overbearing, and too big for their britches.

I went here with my girlfriend to play a little disc golf. This was the only facet of the park that we used. The park looks very nice and the disc golf course was decent, it has 12 holes. A word to the wise: bring a map of the holes on the disc golf course otherwise youll be searching for where to go after each hole.

Best park to travel to this far. 7 dollar parking per car but you have the option to park outside the park for free and walk or bike to your destination. The Park has a playground, beach and splash pad. Very family friendly, will go again next time I come back to this side of the country.

Gorgeous park. My brother had a race there and so while the fam was hanging out we got to enjoy the park. Fun little splash park to cool ya off, a few different playgrounds for the kids and a beautiful lake to enjoy.

The setting by the lake is nice, and theres 3 playgrounds and a splash pad. The problem? The beach was the filthiest Ive ever seen. The shore was choked with vegetation and many dead fish. The stench of weeks(?) of dead fish hit you as you approached the beach. And the sand was littered with goose droppings.Other oddities: the splash pad has a lifeguard, which Ive never seen before. This causes a problem when the lifeguard goes on break, and the splash pad closes for 20 minutes. The pad is well-drained, so theres never more than a quarter-inch of water pooled anywhere? Why is a lifeguard required? Meanwhile the beach has no lifeguard (thats fine with me, but if youre hiring a lifeguard, why not have them monitor the place where people can actually swim?). But really, instead of paying a lifeguards salary, they should pay someone to clean up that beach.The good part: the water was nice and shallow a long ways out from the beach, which gave plenty of room for my kids to play, and helped give the water its nice warm temperature.$7 to get in here seems very steep when all this really has over a regular city park is the beach, which theyre clearly not maintaining anyway.

Nice park. Great views of the lake. Nice and quiet when we went in a weekday.

The park was very clean and I saw plenty of ground staff ensuring it stayed that way. Was here for a baby shower and the pavilion it was in was wonderful! The kids all had a blast too!

GOOD AND CLEAN PLACE FOR VISIT

Besides the view, this park is unfortunatley has became quite run down. The playground for kids is getting very old. My kids ages 5 and 7 find it quite boring. It is a nice place for a walk or bike ride or maybe even a small picnic, but thats about it. The view of Seneca Lake is fantastic as well!
