Its a decent park given the fact that its free. There are some great sites for photography and the breeze feels great here during the evenings. There are some decent spots for fishing, just try not to get your lines stuck in the foliage. Nice place to wind down and relax.The trails are not too well defined and some of them are obstructed by fallen trees. I would also stay away from the free sunscreen they provide. The sign for parking could also be bigger. It is a bit hard to see from the road. There is also a no parking sign next to the parking area which makes it a bit confusing. There are also no restrooms.

We love this place, but it could use a little love. That being said, its beautiful little area and is free. There are a lot of vultures that hang out here.

Quite place when alone. Grounds are a little soft and shore area a little messy. Benches and one table are dirty. Regular maintenance of this city park must be lacking during public health shut-down.

Nice quiet fishing spot. Fish pictured is a bowfish.

I came early in the morning before anyone else was there. I saw plenty of gators in the water, at least twenty. Four or five of them became curious and swam near the shore. I also saw different kinds of wading birds poking around in the water and having breakfast. The sun was just coming up and it was very foggy. Watch out for mosquitoes as well. Otherwise it was a nice walk in the woods along the lake.

Park should be a treasure, yet looks like a dump.
