A good sized park with two playgrounds, basketball courts, a picnic area with tables, open fields, and a restroom. Plenty of parking spots within the park, entrance from Ibero Way. A number of exercise stations scattered along the trail that winds through the park. Although nestled in the hills, most of the park is fairly flat. During spring the slopes are covered with yellow mustard flowers. Only downside is that it is directly under some high voltage power lines.

Beautiful park in fremont. there’s 2 playgrounds, basketball courts, and a long trail with little exercise equipment. really beautiful during sunset as well. great to bring the family or a friend to go for an evening walk. or morning walk

Some people parked in the lot smoking. Defeats the purpose of going there to get fresh air when older adults sit in their car to smoke. At least roll up your windows if youre staying in your car, no reason to pollute the fresh air, or better yet please stay home

My parents live right around the corner from here so I have fond memories of it from growing up. I still remember the year they were constructing the sand pits for excercise. They would be teaming with tadpoles in the spring, but as summer neared and the water would recede, you could literally scoop up cupfulls of tadpoles at a time. That year, my brother and I became witnesses to tadpole cannibalism; but we also raised some to full maturity, and we even held a funeral for one in our front yard: Egyptian style--the ritual of which would have pleased even Tutankhamun. What I like most about this park are the pull up and dip bar stations (perfect pitstop for your neighborhood runs), and how amazing the north slope along Paseo Padre looks in the spring time; the whole slope explodes in a flurry of yellow from the custard plants. I really love that the park serves the community so well too. Whenever Im here, Ill see families and people at all stages of life, going for walks or playing with their dogs, playing basketball or just picnicking. Ive seen some more questionable things here late at night too. Like the one time some kids starting doing donuts with their cars in the basketball court, and when the cops were called in, they tried driving OVER the hill on the Paseo Padre side and got their car stuck! Just insane. Good and questionable though, I love this park all the same.

Has bathrooms, playgrounds, picnic tables, but picnic tables are on top of hill where wind blows. Trail around hill tops is o.k. but not that picturesque. Access is not from Paseo Padre, tricky to find without the GPS nagging you. If we lived closer it would probably be a regular outing, but not worth traveling to (at least not the 10 or 12 miles for us).

Nice clean and safe park. Has basketball courts,soccer fields,2 separate play grounds for younger and older children, picnic area,benches,bathrooms,water fountain,close parking,and a trail to walk. All this includes a great view of the bay and Mission Peak. Fire station is right next to the park.

This my spot man! All my friends and I ball here every Thursday at 5, everyone’s welcome to cone hoop with us! Could be nicer without the double rims but I still like it.

This park is fantastic it gets really busy right around the time school lets out because lots of parents like to pick their kids up from this park. There are bathrooms at this park. This park has two playgrounds both of which are fantastic and suitable for kids up to about age 6 or 7. Theres a double-wide basketball court with four hoops. Theres usually plenty of parking. You get a beautiful view of Mission Peak. I would definitely recommend this park.

This is a perfect park if you want to go on a little walk and enjoy someones company. Its peaceful. The only down side is on the trail there is no shade so being water, hats, and a pair of sunglasses.

Wild mustard greens in the winter and spring are an added plus to a walk with the dog.

Its a nice neighborhood park with a couple drawbacks. First its muddy next there are lots of bees in the grass. It is also a dog park so you have to watch out for landmines left behind by inconsiderate dog owners. It does offer restrooms and there is ample parking .

Old mission park is a nice neighborhood park in the Fremont hills. I think it is not a reason to come to Fremont, but it is fine for what it is.
