Great for a quick stop. Not a ton to see on its own. Would be better if you included it as part of a bigger battlefield tour. FYI - No facilities at the historic church.

My great great grandfathers brigade (wilcox’s brigade) 8 alabama fought here and kept Lee’s right flank clear!

Peaceful and relaxing old church

A recommended stop on the tour of Chancellorsville battlefields. A short walk around, a pause for reflection. On the 3rd. and 4th. of May, 1863, battle raged here; most of the battlefield has now been built over. This old church was used as a field hospital by both sides. Not a peaceful place, surrounded by busy roads, shopping malls and housing.

Very cool to visit. Great place for Pokemon Go or Wizards Unite lol

Used as field hospital. Major fighting at Battle of Chancellorsville Monument for the 23th New Jersey. Not open but very good signage around the church. Excellent stop on the tour of the Battlefield. Recommended.

Very humbling place to visit. My Great Great Grandfather died here on May 11 ,1863 after the battle of Salem Church, War of Northern Aggression
