Always worth a visit, specially now with the fancy giftshop. Staff is attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the nature walk and tour through ranch. Our third time there and we would alwaus come back

Such a beautiful park in between the airport and golf course, with a gorgeous river. Great place to hike around or take the kids. With a nice size pavilion and grills too.

Love camping at Lady Bird every year for our HPROA reunion. Plenty of space for visiting with friends. The Pavilion is always enjoyed by all.

Great place to walk and explore the trails. Lots of space for RVs and picnicing. The golf course is great and the people are friendly.

Gorgeous park! My family and I love coming here. There are plenty of picnic tables, several playgrounds for the kids, great fishing spots, rolling hills for some exercise, open grassy places to fly kits, throw a frisbee, etc. There are tennis courts, the public swimming pool, an RV park.... You can even reserve a pavillion for a fair price for group gatherings.

Spacious, older, but very clean. We loved it here! Will definitely return.

Theres plenty to do at this park, golfing, camping, baseball fields, swimming pool. Very well kept. I attended a seminar here. It was held in what looked like an old homestead. Near by theres a pollinator garden. Amazing! Youll see a great verity of bees and butterflies!

Friendly clean campground. Right next to airport. We enjoyed viewing the small planes take off and land.

Nice little city park. Good place to camp, picnic, take a short nature hike, or enjoy the wildflowers in the spring.

Visited this beautiful park this past Sunday. It saddens me greatly to see so many of the majestic oak trees covered in ball moss. Several have already died. Ball moss suffocates the limbs. I truly don’t understand why these trees are not being treated. I personally have two homes in the Texas Hill Country. Both properties have beautiful oak trees. Annually, I have a The Pecan Doctor come out and spray the trees for any new ball moss that has appeared. Shame on the care givers for not protecting these oaks!

Even though were in a pandemic this pool was VERY safe! While there it was social distancing being practiced and the pool only allows 50% capacity after that one out one in!! It was great

Very quaint park with light hiking. Came here when we were turned away for not having a reservation at Enchanted Rock. A lot of cool birds to see. Glad we came and will definitely return

This place is beautiful! I highly recommend!!

Three miles from Fredericksburg is a great location. Very nice people. RVs bumper to bumper/back to back is a lot too close for us. Pads had some gravel but were only minimally level. It is adjoining the airport which has a lot of jet and plane traffic and is very noisy. When in this area again, we will definitely look elsewhere.

Very nice clean park, all familys would enjoy it, fishing, basketball and volleyball courts plus lots of baseball fields to watch the games. Has a swimming pool! Lots of great activitys

It’s my kids favorite place

There is a beautiful nature trail, lots of wild flowers. It was a comfortable walk. Quick and easy access to downtown mainstreet. Our spot was facing the small airport. It was thrill watching all the planes take off. Friendly staff.

Nice place for travel trailers but the camp ground has a lot of sticker not great for carpets and pets. It is nice and quiet most of the time. Small Creek to fish in.

This park is very nice! It has toasty warm bathrooms that are so very nice when you are camping in the winter with overnight temperatures down in the 30s!This place offers a lot of commodities. Both RV/camper spaces as well as tent camping sites. They have a swimming pool, play ground, and hiking trail with bird viewing station.On one side of the park there is a golf course, to the other side there is the Municipal Airport. The Scouts loved to watch the planes taking off and landing!Although most of the hiking trail was closed off due to recent flooding, we were still able to walk along the river and enjoy nature and bird watching. They have a small bird viewing station just off the parking lot that is easily accessible.We were also able to attend a presentation on Owls by an Owl expert (no owls at presentation). It was very informative.

I love this park. Great pool, great tennis courts, great bufferfly garden, great walking trails, great play areas, great bathrooms, awesome photography areas and a fun little creek you can fish in. I love everything except the ANTS. Watch out for ant colonies especially if youre allergic.I dont golf but Ive heard the Golf areas are amazing.The campground is really nice too just be sure you call way in advance. Seems they are always full.

We attended a wedding reception here and it was a wonderful evening for it.

The firework show every fourth of July is the most amazing show!

The park will be great once they complete the upgrades.

Wonderful park. We loved feeding the ducks and geese and playing on the playground.

Last time we checked they were renovating and updating. Very nice park. Clean.

Attended the Auto swap meet held there. It was a good spot. One negative was that there were a lot of sand burs the keep getting in my socks.

Birding blind was great. We saw many different birds and squirrels, fun. Easy to get to, short walk.

Great place to chill with the family. We ate a lunch at one of the picnic areas. (Lots to choose from) the park was pretty clean. Even after major flooding. Had a great time.

The park itself isnt bad, theres quite a bit to do to stay entertained. Its the staff that are the problem. I live in Fredericksburg and all the rangers Ive come across are quite rude.

Has been a place to go growing up , as not changed much . Lived in Minnesota for last 20years. Will come back now that Im back home .

Lovely park next to the municipal RV park. Walked over several times. Playgrounds have coverings and shaded benches ( needed in the TX heat). Nature trail, little botanical garden and the ball fields round out this park
