I went to the Amphibian Stage a few weeks ago to see a standup comedy show and was not disappointed. The establishment is very nice, they sell beer and wine and also have candy on the tables to munch on while you wait for the doors of the theater to open. The stage area is very nice as shown by my picture, and it is a bit of an intimate setting. I would go again to see a play, as they do not only do comedy shows.

An intimate theater hiding south of downtown Fort Worth. Our first visit - and everyone (staff and patrons) were so friendly. You can tell they all take great pride in the theater and the productions. They have a smallish parking lot (free!) and even had someone out there making sure only theater patrons parked there. Yay!The seating is first come, first served - so your ticket gets you in the door and then you can sit anywhere thats still available. Its a relatively smaller theater, so Id say any seat would be a great seat! The famous cookies are very good - super thick, which was strange, but they werent cakey (which I was thankful for). Im picky about cookies and I would eat theirs again (a little pricey though).Im so glad I have this place a try and well definitely be on the lookout for other productions they do! And Ive already recommended it to others - so feel free to give it a try!

If you haven’t been to this cozy, carefully constructed, beautiful theater just south of downtown Fort Worth then you are missing out on the wonderfully unique creations that happen when a team supports artistry beyond commercialization. It doesn’t matter what is playing. If you’re looking for something out of the traditional regional theater fare, this is your spot. Plus the most authenticity fabulous staff ever. Go, go, go!!! #cryhavoc #shewolf #comedy #nationaltheaterlive

This is a fantastic local theater. Kathleen Culebro, Founding Artistic Director, and her team bring such a creative vision to the performance and programming lineup. I am looking forward to the main stage 2019 season! We have loved the Tad-Poles stilt walking class. It is an excellent way to get kids (and adults) moving, learning, and becoming more confident.

I love this theater and feel so fortunate to have Amphibian Theater in our area! I have been to 5 plays and have loved each one! They have each been different. Some have been intellectual, some witty, but each has been thought provoking! I love the fresh cookies to eat and the signature drinks. There is nothing about this place I dont like!!

Awesome little jewel in Fort Worth! We became season ticket holders starting in the 2014 season after we saw Death Tax in 2013. We have enjoyed EVERY SHOW weve seen. Plus weve met so many intelligent, fun, and interesting people, both at the shows, and at Amphibian events. If you havent seen a show at Amphibian Stage Productions yet, you must check it out!

Amphibian Stage Productions presents high quality, live theatre in a small intimate setting. Its recent offering, The Quixotic Days and Errant Nights of the Knight Errant Don Quixote, was staged very cleverly and is just one example of the first rate performances one will see at Amphibian.

I was fortunate enough to attend opening night at the new venue. The theater isnt the largest, but the intimate setting never feels crowded. The design is industrial, minimalistic, and clean. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The production of ...Julia Pastrana... was remarkable. As a performance conducted entirely in the dark, I wasnt sure where to set my expectations. That quality of the actors and direction was stunning though, and I found myself very moved despite being deprived of my sight.I would recommend this theater as a must-see for all Fort Worth and greater DFW residents.

Amphibian consistently produces interesting, contemporary plays, with a mix of full productions and staged readings, in a versatile, black box theater that is appropriate for the kinds of works they perform. Amphibian also hosts the National Theatre Live series at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, bringing works of one of the worlds great theaters to a screen in Fort Worth.
