You would think that maybe a movie theatre that serves food might not have the best food but we were very impressed! The French fries were awesome! Everyone in our party raved about the food. Comfy seats... Great experience.

1st time there. Food is pretty good. Breaded mushroom appetizer is enough for 4 people. I got the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich with onion rings. Not enough ham on the sandwich but there was a huge pile of onion rings. My husband got the chicken strips. He said they were very thin and wouldnt get them again. Seating is very comfortable and wait staff was great. Attentive but not overwhelming since they understand that youre watching a movie. Sound for the movie was good, screen was good. We would go back.

I wish they were better at picking which movies they are going to show, they have missed out on some great movies. But its still a great place to catch dinner and a movie. The wait staff is always great.

Came durring the week were not busy. It was very clean with friendly staff, popcorn prices seemed high. Movie selection was good. Enjoyed it.

A great place to watch a movie and eat a comfy meal! The staff are also very friendly and get your food out to you as quickly (and quietly) as possible during the movie.

This place is in need of a serious upgrade. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids -11,5,4) went to the 6:30pm (it stated on the website it started at 6:15) showing of Sonic on Valentines Day. I expected it to be busy so I showed up at 5:20 to get tickets early (the website states that the box office opens an hour early). After standing in line with my 3 kids until 5:40 (in freezing temps) I went in and asked if someone could come out and start selling tickets, 5 minutes later someone came out, like it was no big deal that they were 15 minutes late. Our tickets cost $42. We then had to wait another 10 minutes to be allowed into the theater. My family was the second in line and we sat immediately waiting for someone to come to our table. We were almost the last to be waited on!! I ordered all our food the first time we saw our waitress and also asked that popcorn be brought out after our food, worrying that things might take a while because of the crowd. Our waitress was polite but clearly overwhelmed! Our food was brought out well into the movie after most of the theater. Our fries were cold and my burger was super dry! On the plus side we ordered breadsticks as an appetizer and they came out first, which appeased my starving kids. We weren’t given enough silverware and our waitress didn’t come back to fill our drinks!! 5 minutes before the movie ended she brought our bill and said she’d be out with the popcorn. It was so cold the butter wouldn’t melt on it...We ordered breadsticks, a party platter, 3 kids meals and a burger, 2 sodas our bill was $69. Now this price isn’t horrible if the food was warm when it came out and we were actually waited on appropriately. But we weren’t. $108 for a movie in a out dated theater, with poor service and cold food is NOT worth it. I feel even worse for the family who sat behind us, who didn’t get their food until 5 minutes before the movie ended, they were still waiting for a box when we left!Such a disappointing experience for our family Valentines Day. Sadly we won’t be back unless things drastically change!

Great to see an old place being used for a positive family purpose. Drive-Inn-style food, but ok for such a place. Movies are the best part of the experience. Always good, new movies.

What can I say… this place is awesome! You get to sit down in comfortable seats restaurant style and enjoy family friendly movies. It is set up so that it would never be overcrowded.The menu is decent, back regretfully the quality of food has declined. With that being said a 4 .5 rating is not available so I will give it a 5 star rating.

Its time for new furniture. The concept is great. The food is pricey for what it is, its good, but spendy. The furniture needs to be replaced. Its tired. Ok for family night. Not good enough for date night.

Love this place. We go here about once every two months. We really enjoy their setup of serving food and watching a movie. Food options are good but havent changed much over the years and you can get a much more immersive movie experience by going to a dedicated movie theater, but we enjoy doing both at the same time.

This place is such a wonderful concept and very unique. The wait service was friendly and the food was very good with much variety. Movie quality and sound was awesome!

Audio/Visual set up clearly dated, not bad, but not the best. Food is pretty basic and probably GFS bulk or similar. Alcohol is available, but over priced. General pricing is pretty fair tho.

Other than being a little pricey...always love watching movies at the Cinema Grill. So much easier with the kids.

I really didnt enjoy my dirty dishes setting in front of me after the meal. It distracted me during whole movie from feeling worried that i would end up with mess.

Food prices are expensive, but where else will you eat a meal while you watch the movie! Assuming they have the movie you want, they usually only feature two of the most popular features at a time.

We love Cinema Grill. We anxiously wait for new movies to come out so that we can go there. Its the perfect date night place because we can do dinner/movie all at once and not have to have a sitter for so long. Its also the perfect place to take our kids when they have kids movies. They love it and there are great choices for food for both them and for us. Food is great and is consistently good. The staff is always friendly and have come to know us as regulars. Im always recommending this place to people who have never been!

Northwood Cinema Grill is awesome! They have a comfortable, roomy setting and allow ample time for customers to arrive and find seating prior to a movie start time. Their food is high quality and the price is low in comparison to the quality. Chicken wings are the best!!! If you want a relaxed setting and the comfort of having a nice dinner, this is the place to go!!!

Move and a meal at the same time? Great! However the food was only so so. My pizza seemed like it was a frozen pizza.

Love, love, love being able to have a tasty meal while watching a movie at the same time. We go all the time even if its not our favorite movie showing because its an entertaining way to spend the evening.

The dinner theater setting is nice. The food prices are outrageous. However, when they blow their own speakers at an Iron man showing, they do everything they can to make it right, including moving to another theater, and free passes. Though, things may have changed since then.

It was definitely different than I was expecting, but was neat. The food was pretty good. The service was also good.

I just like this place so much. Everyone is fascinated by the reclining seats at another theater, but I enjoy this place bcuz its hardly ever crowed. You can order food while watching. After eating theres usually room to go and sit in a regular theater seat

I have been here over 50 times. Love the total experience! Could it be less experience??? Yes, but, no....why?.....the seating, small venue, individual attention....WORTH IT TOTALLY!!

We had so much fun! If you go for a matinee showing the ticket is a good deal and you can choose between a more expensive meal or a less expensive snack. I thought the food was really good and there was a perfect amount of it. Service was friendly and quick as well. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

It was overall a lackluster experience for the price. For a $7 ticket price, you would expect at least a B quality sound system. I give it a D...and it was too loud. And I like loud movies! The food, overpriced and under-delivered. The $9 steak philly sandwich had at best two ounces of meat and a cheap bun. My wife liked the burger, though. Onion rings were great. The waitress was excellent!

When are you going to get it together. This is an awesome concept with the worst overpriced food and mediocre service. I get better food from fast-food. For 4 adults and 2 children our bill was over $100 for a cook who has no skill, we could have gone to an Applebees or red robin and have more adult beverages, appetizers and a full meal that taste good for way less money. If your organization cant combine quality food for the excessive price then just show movies

Always enjoy taking the grandkids there for a movie.The price is reasonable and its clean servers are friendly and not in your way when you are watching a movie.

Its dinner and a movie prices are a little high but I believe it is worth it. Later showings are seem to be better for avoiding the younger crowds that can kinda ruin the mood of the movie.

Too loud !!! Gosh I wish they would turn down the volume just a bit , at least enough to make it comfortable if youre sitting up front .

Like a certain comment suggests below, food is not necessarily of 4 star quality, but that is to beexpected. The simple fact that I can enjoy my own personal space while watching a movie on the big screen makes my experience phenomenal. Truly a gem in Fort Wayne.

If you have not been to Northwood Cinema Grill then you are missing out! Why wouldnt you want to watch a first run film while enjoying a meal and drinks? We have been coming to this theater since it opened. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and is perfect for young and old. The food is bar type food and comes out hot and delicious (especially the fries). My son always gets the pizza to share with his dad. Its his favorite. Try this theater out, youll be glad you did!

Its a great place for food and great movies. The times are a bit weird. but overall theres not much wrong with the place.

Absolutely love this place. My fiancé and I have been here a half-dozen times over the past year and we just love it.The food - Great. Have never had a complaint on their food. It isnt high-class, but is better than fast food. The wraps and breadsticks are some of the best in town!The Theatre - The seating is laid out pretty well. Only a few times have we had to deal with someone tall sitting in front of us. Its a perfect amount of lighting and you rarely notice the servers until they get to your table.Overall this place rocks!

I like the concept of ordering decent food and eating while watching a movie. The chairs are terribly uncomfortable. Rarely can I sit through an entire movie when my tailbone doesnt go numb.
