My stay at the Resort was not Terrible but it was not the best as well. It is located right on the beach, walking distance to Las olas Boulevard where there is a array of restaurants and shopping facilities. There were a few disappointing attributes to the resort however, for example there was only one microwave near the front desk. This was very inconvenient and also concerning especially during a pandemic. All guest who desired to warm up food would need to wait in line to use said microwave (which by the way there was no antibacterial wipes or spray near by to disinfect after use for the next person ). In addition the microwave may have been over worked because it could not warm up two pizza slices in 3 mins. The receptionist mentioned that no room on the property has a microwave in it. There is no parking near the resort, however, valet service is available for $42/day a bit pricey if you ask me. We found a stain in our mattress and the toilet was very wobbly and leaked. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrise, the ocean and the location of this resort.

Horrible !!!I do not recommend you stay here. The pictures are filtered with drastic angling.... rooms look nothing like the website postings. We encountered problems the entire time and cannot wait to leave this place.We changed the room due to bleeding furniture that leaked onto our clothing. Wiped everything down due to Covid with wipes and brown stains everywhere.In the new room we had to deal with a rattling ac and warm room for the first 2 hours (they eventually sent the engineering team to fix it and change filter).Then someone set the fire alarm off and the alarm flashed in the room for the rest of the night.And last but certainly not least the cable kept going out (couldn’t watch the Thanksgiving games in peace).Never again!!!!We watched another customer pack her bags and storm out of the hotel cursing because the roomQuality was so poor.

I’m a local who decided to book this hotel for my birthday. I had hopes that this hotel would be my go-to spot to come back and enjoy as a repeat customer. Service was pretty below average. Rooms were below par. In the morning, it was really noisy. Kids screaming and playing at 7:00a in the pool, while the two rooms on opposite sides of ours had their TVs blasting when the sun came up. The hotel needs to enforce quiet hours to respect all their guests. Also, reception staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there at all. Sad because the hotel is pretty and has a nice location overlooking the beach. For as much as they charge, they couldn’t even have bathrobes available in the rooms. The resort fee is $40 per day (understandable), but then there isn’t parking except valet ($40+) then they charge an additional $75 per day which was never mentioned in any of the websites. It’s sad to say I would’ve had a much better experience sleeping at home. Never again.

Both treadmills in the gym had some operational malfunctions, fitness machine missing handle attachments. Great customer service though. Clean, Covid friendly and Compliant, beachfront, nice pool, and pool bar.

Great experience! We for vacation with a friend and had a great time here. Staff was great even upgraded us with no questions! our waiter Cory, at the Salty Siren, was especially awesome! He made sure we were always taken care of! Our Cabana guy Kevin made special accommodations for us when we requested on the beach, without breaking the rules of course! But i cant express enough how great of a job Cory was! We were there for 3 days and he was just so friendly, we made sure to get him each day we were there and made sure to tell him bye and what great of a job he did when we left. Thank you Cory for making our vacation that much better!!

The lobby and surroundings look stunning, the only advantage.They charge an extra hotel fee of $78 and $150 deposit. The self parking $39/ day. If you get out after 10 hrs you pay this amount , next , another $39.We never go with the valet service , they treat cars like in a carting race.The room is very common and cheap in reality, not worth the $ 170/ night we paid. The sheets with stains and the bathroom uncleanned with clogged sink.No garbage bin.The night before it was a fire alarm with the vocal message to leave the building. We never saw any firemen vehicle or any staff people trying to tackle things.We will not be back here, for sure!

The location facing the sea is excellent and the view from the rooms, the night was lively, the atmosphere of the lobby restaurants was very pleasant but very bad service, I left the room and when I returned they had thrown away my toothbrush, and a bag with my belongings, the justification was that they did not see the suitcases and they thought the room was empty, the bag appeared but I could not retrieve my belongings from Personal hygiene obviously, the coffee maker in the room did not work, I informed the desk but nobody bothered to change it or go check it I had to ask for clean towels because one of them was stained with something that looked like mustard, in the pool bar The drinks lacked quality, and at breakfast I asked for muffins with ham and butter but they gave them to me without the ham, needless to say that my stay was not what I expected and there was no intention of a remunerative apology, quite the opposite when I checked out the price was $ 20.00 higher than expected by the application, conclusion I will not return

It was a nice place to stay but I would recommend not to rent a car cause it 42 a night and we booked this through a different place on line and paid a additional 40 a night so it might be better to book at a hotel then a resort witch I think this place is more like a hotel then a resort. But the beach access is nice and the food along the beach was excellent.

This place is a joke, just awful! I spent quite a bit of money for the concierge to order and deliver flowers to my friends room, who was celebrating her 30th birthday. My credit card was charged, and the flowers never made it to her room. Valet confirmed they were delivered to the hotel, and the front desk and concierge staff have no idea where they went, or what happened to them. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone willing to help via phone, no phone calls were ever returned back to me and nobody seemed to care at all. Everyone just kept putting me on hold with hopes I would hang up.

Loved the beach here. The staff interaction at the bar was great. Stayed Friday to Sunday and the phone/ tv werent working. The hotel comped only one 35$ resort fee.

Family friendly reception. Dining room, restaurant staff friendly and clean, very professional.Clean rooms, pools always have clean towels, clean bathrooms. If you in lobby or anywhere in hotel you can always hearcan i help you? Do you need anything Also the closest hotel to the ocean. And yes its very safe for virus, everyone wearing masks and wipes constantly. We being blessed to be there.

Best part of the Ft Lauderdale beach. Tons of Beach Volley ball courts, BBQ pits w picnic tables and lots of sand. The hotel has two pools one of which has a Bar and Food right on the beach, the other conveniently in the middle of the front part of the hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating, rooms were clean and more importantly the AC worked and made the room very comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in the Ft lauderdale area. The breakfast was good. The dinner and drinks are excellent. Definitely will be back again!

My wife found this hotel on the internet and the pictures were amazing very excited booked our reservation thru booking.com. We had to pay an extra $39 a day in resort fees which were fine. We get there and there is no place to park we have to use their valet service for an extra $42 a day or park in the garage across the street and pay $20 every time you come or go. We check in and have to pay an additional $75 a day deposit which none of these fees were mentioned. We go up to our room 1714 which was supposed to be a stunning king ocean view with balcony it was disgusting it was something from 1970 and their were stains all over the carpet by the balcony the carpet was wet and smelled like mildew. So we complained and they moved us to room 1424 which we had to go outside to get to the room. The room was not much better the bathroom was updated but not very clean. We called booking.com and they contacted the front desk and they told them yes they would refund us our money back. So we go to check out and they said it would be 3-7business days before we would get our money back which means we were stuck so we had no choice to stay. We go back to room and decided to go to the pool and beach. This place is nothing like the pictures very deceptive and disappointing!! The pool was very small and crowded I was expecting this luxurious Resort infinity pool over looking the beach and believe me that’s not what you get... your aloud to use their towels and the chairs on the beach but if you want an umbrella it’s $22 a day extra and the cabana was $80 extra per day...I have never been so disappointed or felt so mad.. please anyone who reads these reviews do not look at their pictures and think your going to be staying at a luxurious resort on the beach because it’s no better then a Howard Johnson ....the pictures are very deceptive I would not recommend this hotel

Pros: Hotel is ok if you are looking for something not so expensive to spend a couple of days.Lobby is pretty, staff is kind and friendly, really nice people indeed. You are really close to the beach, and the private portion of a beach is great.Cons: the rooms need immediate upgrade. The carpets in the rooms are simply disgusting, your feet get dirty from just walking barefoot on the room carpets.A beach umbrella is $22/day. Parking is not included and you pay $42/day.

Had such an amazing time with my fiancé. The food was AMAZING! We enjoyed the beach and pool so much. The rooms were super clean and they took special measures to maintain the hotel to standards. I was very happy and I will revisit this establishment.

I stayed at the B Ocean for several weeks during the Ft Laud Boat Show set up and breakdown.When i checked in and arrived at the room it was dirty.The room smelled terrible.The A C unit did not work on the high setting.The front grille of the A C unit was dirty and full of mold.After several complaints to the front desk the A C unit was never repaired..I brought from home a large fan to cool the room.It was no use to complain any longer, clearly they were not going to repair the A C.I brought cleaning supplies and room deodorizer to clean my room.We sprayed the rug with lysol to help with the smell of the carpet.There were 4 days my room was not serviced!Do not stay at this hotel!!!

Not what I expected. I did not get what I paid for. The room was very small with a double size bed. I went there to get some sleep before I start another shift of work. They put me in a room by the pool where people were shouting and screaming. I had to leave before my time was up to go sleep in my car. It was horrible.

I wasnt very happy with this place once I found out that you have to pay an additional valet fee to park here even if your staying at the hotel, I think parking should be complimentary with the option of doing valet. The room was nice that we stayed in however my daughter had little bite marks all over her after a night in our room. Im hoping they werent bed bugs but I am not 100% sure what it was. The beach was nice but they charge $80 for the canopy that are sitting out on their private beach that I thought were for the hotel guests. The deck outside the room looking out to the ocean was very nice. All in all I would rate the cleanliness of this place a 4/10, Staff a 8/10, the cost 5/10, location 9/10.

Short summary = catfish hotel. Pics look nice. On beach. Amenities, etc. Real life stay? Not good. Small small rooms. Disjointed multiple building setup. No fan in bathroom - which is just weird. No drawers in the room. $40 forced parking per day, whether self park or valet. This is robbery! $40 resort fee daily tacked on. $22 for a freaking beach umbrella. $17 for additional beach chairs (you get 2). Place is like a red roof inn charging gaylord palms prices. Pool is like a low level Carnival Cruise ship pool with 75 people in it. Gross. I pulled out two 30 inch black hairs out of pool in first 10 mins. So gross. This place is no better than a LaQuinta on the corner of the beach, charging Fountainbleu prices. Terrible. Not only will we never stay there again, we will probably never stay in FTL again. Total ripoff.

This was the worst stay at a hotel in my ENTIRE LIFE! At first, I loved it and was enjoying every bit of my stay there! That is, until they lost my boyfriend and I’d luggage with over $3,000 worth of stuff in it. At first, they told us the security was in a meeting and we had to wait and hour for him to look at the security footage. Then, it was another hour. Then, they told us they would find it and just ship it to us. That wasn’t going to work for me, I didn’t trust that and at this point with all the excuses, it could’ve been one of the employees who stole my luggage. I asked to review the footage with them and they said the security had left again. At this point, I called the cops and as soon as the cops get there they inform us they put our luggage in another guests’ car. Now, they don’t even know who the guests are to get our luggage back. So incredibly unprofessional!

B Ocean has an incredible charm, with amazing views. Considering the age of the hotel, they have found a way to maximize its potential.We were here for the Super Bowl so didnt spend much time dining here, so I cant comment much on the restaurants. We ordered room service one night and were pleasantly surprised at the speed of service and the quality of the food. My daughter had one of the best fish sandwiches Ive ever had.I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and sincere when assisting us. Enrique checked us in and made is feel extremely welcomed; Dwayne at the front entrance was most helpful and a great personality; and Maria at the front desk was absolutely exceptional in every way! She is truly an asset to your operations...I will definitely recommend B Ocean to friends and family staying in the Fort Lauderdale area...

Made a reservation here for an upcoming trip and never received any kind of confirmation email. I called multiple times in which each time they told me they would send an email confirming pricing etc. NEVER received ANY sort of email from them which pricing which I felt was a bit shady especially after reading other reviews from people who said when they got their they were charged way more than they were supposed to be. I called to cancel and the woman on the phone said she would send me a cancellation email, never got that either! Seems odd. Probably dont want to send you any confirmation pricing so they can jack the pricing up when you get there! Its a no from me.

4 stars automatically because its right by the beach and the persons who work by the beach get 5 stars and better get a raise. From the service to the bar area to whoever is coming the burger that came out so ridiculously good!! Now front desk at the main building gets 2 stars. They talk to you like youve been there your whole life. Wheres the beach? Reply: over there. Theyre directions are horrendous, thats just one example.

The room that we booked was not available when we showed up , we ordered a one king bed ocean front room , however we were surprised when we found out it was two small beds in the room . After speaking to Front Desk, we were told that they were busy and the room we originally booked was taken , they offered a “better” room , it was bigger and nicer than the first one but with no ocean view whatsoever . So I don’t know what was better about it .We had a good experience at the pool and beach , staff was warming and prompt to assist despite the bad weather .I had to call at 2 am because there was noise coming from outside our room , it seemed it was drunk people and the drama it comes with .What was supposed to be a couples getaway transformed into a very upsetting experience to Say the least . It all comes Down to ... is not my fault ; as your customer , that you decide to overbook .

On the positive side, the hotel lobby was very nice and modern. The staff was polite and courteous. The location was also convenient being right on the beach. The food at the restaurant was good, although the variety was limited. Our room view was awesome.However, there were aspects of the hotel that were not so great. The room was smaller than expected although the decor was ok. It was also dirty. There was dust on the night table and the room was not vacuumed prior to our arrival. The carpet was very dirty. We even found a marijuana bud on the floor. The bathroom shower was dirty as well. I could tell it hadn’t been clean for a while. I had to make sure we all wore sandals inside the shower and shoes inside the room. It was also very loud. A lot of people are screaming at 2 and 3 in the morning.Our room view was very nice , But you have to make sure you get a room in the upper floors. Otherwise all you’re going to see your trees and sand. Another thing that I did not like was that on the day of our departure someone was knocking on our door since 10 when check out is at 11. It felt like they were rushing us to leave.We were at the clippers building and it was nice to have a quieter pool there, since the pool by the beach was full of people drinking.Overall, we had a nice day but I don’t think I’m gonna be back for a while.

The pictures online were extremely misleading! The hotel was simply not at all what I expected. I went and got another room at the Sonesta Ocean Point down the road if that says anything. I wouldn’t recommend this location unless you just don’t care. The sad thing is my ocean view at the Sonesta was a better price than the B and 500x cleaner and nicer. Very disappointed on choosing the B

This place was filthy upon arrival. I had a room change and it still was dirty. Dust, wine stains on sheets, hair etc. It is a good location to beach, room was comfortable and pool was nice. This place should be advertised as a high end motel. It’s in desperate need of upgrades. The maids come around when they feel like it and never have towels etc. Nothing like getting up early and going to the bales house multiple times to come back to no clean towels or room.

The experience I had in this resort for my vacation was horrifying. Terrible grammar on the brochure, staff did not follow their own COVID protocol, there are no cameras on your floor if something happens to you they will not know and the doors do not lock behind you leaving You and your belongings unprotected. Housekeeping came inside without our permission, cleaned our room and took cash without permission & we were never helped or refunded .. please don’t stay here!

Staff was very nice and the beach is very accessible...Honestly, I was excited to stay at a 4 star hotel with an infinity pool and a nice room as advertised. Instead, the ambiance felt dirty, the walls and floors walking to the room were dirty and unkept. I could hear everyone in the pool and the cleaning ladies right outside my door. The room was nothing spectacular, the small couch and floors were dirty. I dont think they should be charging so much for a room for 1 night or they should make their hotel 3 stars. If youre looking for a place to crash a night, I would recommend it but not a hotel to relax in or for a nice vacation.

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from but honestly this is my second day out of 4 here and I have nothing but nice things to say. Staff is crazy friendly and welcoming. From the waiters at the pool to the staff at the restaurants. The food is yummy, the drinks are too. Price is normal for Fort Lauderdale and the area the hotel in on, which means a bit more pricey but that comes with the perks of the amenities and the beauty of the facility. I love the cleanliness and our room. John at the pool’s bar (Salty Siren) is the best waiter at the facility, hands down. The view and the fact that is directly on the beach. We will certainly come back!!!

Currently at B Ocean Resort. Day 4 of a 6 night stay. So far... perfect. Some of the reviews I read left me a little apprehensive of making a rsvp. But, very happy I made the choice. The place isnt dirty in any way. The lobby is welcoming and updated. The room is spotless and roomy. Showers are new and great. We have spent time on the private beach and infinity pool. Beach has chairs and umbrellas and drink/food service. Its a clean/nice beach too. The pool area is fun with good clean pop music. Lots of chairs and umbrellas with few cabanas. The staff has been accommodating and very friendly. Normally I find at least something that can be improved for a review. But, so far, I cannot .. If I do Ill revise.

Such a fun resort!! Super beautiful view from our room. Amazing restaurants within the hotel. Awesome bar and staff as well! The rooms were super affordable to when you book through a different party. Would love to visit again!Also it is pretty easy just to walk to different places like restaurants or bars! Definitely could be family friendly as well.

Very disappointed in garage service, they were trying to take more money than the room cost, very cheesy feeling I got through my whole stay, this pricing should have been told before we booked the room, but no as soon as I got out of the car they were trying to get more money for valet Parking it felt like I was getting scammed! They just wasn’t up front with the info, very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this place and will go back again. Everybody that worked from the front desk to bartenders and servers at the pool bar, everybody so was nice and friendly which makes me want to go back. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The whole experience was wonderful. Highly recommended.wonderful. Thank you is all I can say.

The place is more like a 2 star resort, gym is a tiny room and sad. That can be tolerated. The hidden fees make it feel like a scam, no parking, no proper service. The place is old and decrepit.

Positive: Beach access was great Negative: I did not feel safe from COVID. I did not see a single person cleaning high touch areas. People were drunk and not social distancing. Loud music and bad behaviour at 3am.

I really loved this hotel! When I first booked, I read the reviews which seemed very good & then I read deeper and some were not as good. I was skeptical at first but everything went good, I liked my room. It was clean, I did ask for a balcony but I’m not sure if that part of the hotel was opened for construction ,housekeeping always did a nice job. Pool and location were super nice. Staff & workers for the chairs on the beach were so sweet and such hard workers! I would definitley come back, I hope they open the mermaid shows soon. Also the drinks are about 15$ per drink but what do you expect ? Hotels add tax on everything. Also the walls are super thin in the hotel so I only had issues one of the nights when people were running around being loud , other than that I’d go back :)

Hope i could give 0 stars i was so disappointedFIRST my family and i had 2 rooms and one of the reservations was not found had to go through a mission to end up having to pay more on same day reservation at the hotel.When i got to the room i was assign to there was people alreay in the room (how about if there were doing private things)However thanks god it was just a 1 day stayAt the beginning i had paid for a room with balcony they said they had none available for the night however it was funny after the inconvenience of people been in the room they ended up upgrading us to one with balcony after we where trying to get what we paid of from the beginning.Well story does not end there since we had to wait over 35-40 min for new room..When it was check out time we called and as courtesy they was going to let check out until 2 pm with out having to pay got to the room at 1:55pm and doors where locked had to go to the lobby again and tell them about it in older for me to get my stuffs ask to speak to manager and it was useless because i could tell she didnt care.Oh and lets not even talk about the toilet that was broken it will move everthing your trying to do your personal stuff..And valet parking its spensive after everthing you already have to pay

I think this hotel its overpriced in all aspects. They arent following the covid19 rules almost everyone werent wearing mask and no social distance. The beds were supposed to be queen and they are way more smaller. I think youll fine another better option in the area!!

The rooms are good but the price you see is a bait. At check out they will add a daily $39 resort fee. Plus $40 per night for self-parking. There is not even a breakfast.We will not stay here again.

Hotel Lobby was clean and modern. Ran into a lot of charges that wasn’t explained while booking. Door key fobs constantly stopped working and had to be switched to another room twice. Carpet is filthy in every room and the towels and sheets weren’t cleaned properly either. Hotel staff is great and friendly though. Just need better housekeeping

Great service. 3 pools and direct access to the beach. You can not bring a cooler to the pool nor beach. Friendly and welcoming staff. $20 day parking and $50 for overnight stay. Rooms have comfortable beds but no kitchen or microwave.

Not as i expected. Everything is an upcharge, we had to switch room twice and pay and upgrade fee to get a decent enough room. The first room was outside and felt merely. The second room had a very very bad odor, once we paid an extra $50+ we were moved to another building. The valet parking is very expensive and there is no self parking. The pool and beach area was great.

My husband and I stayed here from Aug 23-26 and after the first night I wanted to leave but we had just traveled from Louisiana and were too tired to find another hotel. So we stuck it out for the next few days.I went there with the intention of self parking but was told by one of the valets that I would have to pay everytime we left the self parking garage, so we ended up using the valet instead. I kinda wish we just went with the self parking option because we never got an answer whenever I tried to call the valet to get our car before we got downstairs, so we ended up having to go wait outside until they got it.I was expecting more from the view on our “stunning” room but was disappointed. On the first night, our room didn’t have any wash cloths so I tried calling the front desk about 5 times (never got an answer) before we eventually went down and asked for some. We were told that they didn’t have any at the front and to wait and someone would bring some to our room immediately. After 30 minutes, I tried to call the front desk again (still no answer) so we went downstairs and asked for an update on our washcloths and was told to wait In our room again. After another 15 minutes, we finally got wash cloths.When I booked I didn’t realize that the room wouldn’t have a microwave, which was kind of a big deal for me because I’m pregnant with twins and never finish my food whenever we go out. So I bring my leftovers to eat later on, but we had to use the microwave that was downstairs and wasn’t very clean.I wish they didn’t charge a resort fee if you don’t use any of the amenities that it covers. I used the WiFi but the Keurig in our room wasn’t clean and I don’t drink coffee anyways, and the private beach situation was very confusing. I wish they would’ve explained it to us when we checked in. We tried to go down around 8:30am and was confused on where to go, and there wasn’t anyone to help us. Nor were there any beach chairs or umbrellas, so I’m assuming we went to early or something or maybe we just weren’t in the right place... either way I was disappointed that we didn’t get to relax on the beach like I was hoping.After checking out, one of the valets whose name I wish I got, was really helpful and probably the most pleasant person I had dealt with since being there, he grabbed my bag, opened up the car door for me and even tried to help me put on my seatbelt. I went inside to grab change to tip him but when i came back out he was already gone. So I asked another valet guy where he went and he responded “you can just give it to me, we share it anyways” but I feel like he stole the tip intended for someone else because I watched him pocket it. My husband and I are both military and are from Fort Lauderdale, just stationed in Louisiana, but we agreed that the next time we come home, we won’t be staying here.

Hotel was Beautiful. Very accommodating. Staff amazing. Spectacular private hotel beach. Only problem is the parking. The price is $42 dollars a day not including resort fee of $36. When you add car rental and parking its close to $400 for 4 days. Best bet is lyft/uber if there around. Nothing is within walking distance only place to go if you Dont have a car is inside the resort.

I stayed for two nights. The resort is beautiful but dont let them put you in one of the rooms at the end of their staggered building that has its roof exposed. Neither me or my girlfriend got a wink of sleep until 4am when the rain stopped. Our room was exposed to the rain on 4 sides and basically turned in to a thunderdome. Thankfully, the next day they did apologize and provide us with a new room. However, the next room had one of those sinks that smells like a dead animal died down it when you run the water. I mean Im usually pretty easy to please and dont complain much but it was a little exhausting that we couldnt just get a normal room. Im sure they would have switched our rooms again and apologized because they were very accommodating and even refunded our $40/night resort fee for the inconvenience. (Hence 3/5 instead of 1/5 stars) However, Im not sure Ill ever stay there again because it just wasnt worth the hassle.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Access to the beach is stress free. The downside is the fact that parking can be pretty steep.

Well this place is nice and it does have a good location. They do have a few sneaky fine print fees. The ocean spot is beautiful and they do provide good service. Biggest downfall for me is they close the beach and pool at 6 there’s nothing to really do around there after unless you wanna sit inside a drink pricey drinks. If they would have had that open later or lights at the pool I would have gave this place an easy four stars. Like I said the beach is beautiful

The food is sub par. Comfortable beds and beachfront is ok. This hotel was selected by my company for layovers. I wouldnt stay for leisure travel.

This hotel to start off has two parking spaces on the premises for handicap and from what I saw they use it for their staff as when I walked by saw an empty one of the two but had two cones so obviously no one parks there and they don’t provide any parking you gotta pay 40 plus tax for overnight and you can go in and out because they charge you like they did to me for 35 mins I was charged 15 dollars not to mention the 40 I’ll pay tomorrow morning when I check out. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! They are crooks. The place is just not worth the money , trust me when I say you don’t want to throw your money away on this hotel. I don’t and I’ll never recommend this place to anyone.

The out side of the building looks old but the inside is beautiful clean and fresh smells good very comfortable beds service like crazy. I would recommend it to everyone

I am currently at the hotel: the beach view and hotel pools are as in the photos. Most of the staff are very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately there are several staff members that service the bar areas and pool amenities that will each give you a different price per amenity to which the front desk response was that it has nothing to do with them. Hotel is in desperate need of upgrades but since there is construction in process; I’ll assume that is what is taking place. Always remember you get what youpay for.

Overpriced and NUMEROUS hidden fees! Made us pay a deposit of $150 twice for a 4 day stay. Then didnt return but only $62 because they took the rest on hidden fees no one told us about. On top of that valet was $42 a day!

End of an era for a formerly great hotel. Sad to see a long standing history of great service, great food, awesome pool bar and beachy vibe ruined. Ive been coming here for 30 years and have appreciated how the hotel has adapted and grown but without good food or good drinks, I cant see how this will continue to do well. When we first got to our hotel room, the plugs didn’t work only one outlet worked! Toilet paper roll falling off the wall, blood stain on our bed, and no sheets for the pull out bed. We didn’t receive a complimentary turtle as in the photo on the site until we asked for one! Most of the staff was rude, and not friendly at all! It didn’t work or it was broken, old and run down for the prices your going to charge your guest! Guest should have more options than just to pay $42 a night for valet! Rip off, charge extra for hotel Amenities, but when we get to the beach told it was an extra charge! $15 for just one shot! I get it Fort Lauderdale is over priced, but then we upgraded our room, and the door to the bathroom was broke, none of our electronics would stay plugged in, and my toddler found a bottle of prescription Medication! I went down and complained, and yes they took off our upgrade fee, but they should have done more than that!!! We also found food on the floor from previous Occupant! We will never stay at this hotel ; next time We go to Fort Lauderdale We will not be staying here!!! One of the staff members told me they only take care of the people they like! Very dirty, unfriendly, outdated. The beds were not comfortable at all... Very dirty, and run down place! I wouldn’t recommend to my worst Enemy! Resort fee, and valet are not included on prices on booking, or Priceline! The prices are doubled! This should be scam!!!

Loved this hotel!!! Beautiful lobby, easy & quick check in. Woman at the desk upgraded me to the building on the beach for no extra charge. Rooms were immaculate & beautiful! Very nice pool area with an outdoor pool bar that serves food also. Nice coffee shop with breakfast pastries, etc.Ocean water is pretty & mostly clear. Volleyball courts right beside hotel on the beach. I wont look any further than this hotel when in Ft Lauderdale. A must stay & kid friendly & excellent staff. Price was reasonable as well.Only negative is I thought valet parking was a little too high ($40 I think). Only $4 less to self park so may as well let them do it.

When I arrived the hotel that on top of the $38/day resort fee, there would also be an additional $42/day valet service fee. With taxes and fees it approximately comes to an additional $100/night. The resort amenities amounted to a small pool, available beach chairs (umbrella is additional) with no drink orders placed at the beach, and kind of a crummy gym. On top of all of that the staff in the restaurants gave half effort and had to ask several times for water. There is also a middle aged, overweight, white dude that works at the beach side pool that yelled at his own staff for his own mistake in front of us. He also just likes to stand on the beach and talk on the phone. Whenever I asked this guy for help he always responded thats not my job.Long story short, this hotel is not the price you see and has really poor service. Save your money and go to a nicer hotel for the money.

The only good thing about the hotel was the beach being so close. The pool was constantly dirty, the restaurant was closed, and was not told ahead of time that the hotel and pool area would be under construction.

Nice hotel, but way over priced! Small rooms and nothing but surprise fees.. expect to pay $45 a night extra because they will not let you self park your vehicle. Overall not super satisfied with the stay! Left after 2 nights and went and stayed at the hard rock, witch is well worth the extra money! I will never stay anywhere else other than the hard rock going forward! 10/10 recommend staying there over this place any day!

Very laid back beach. There a picnic tables and volleyball courts nearby. There is also a life guard in duty during normal hours. Beach was very clean and not too busy.

I stayed at B Ocean for 4 nights the week of July 15th, 2020. The front desk staff seemed to not all be on the same page. I called prior to arriving and was told I would have to put down $75 for incidentals which is fine, I was expecting a fee for incidentals. I called the day of and that number changed to $150. When we arrived I was told I needed to pay $75 per night. Luckily one of the staff members honored the $150. The hotel lobby is beautiful and you can tell it has recently been renovated. The room also was nice and the cleaning staff was also very friendly but the actual cleaning of the room did not seem to be up to par. We called the front desk multiple times to request wash cloths and they were never brought up to us. Eventually we gave up and made due with the other towels we had. Only one outlet in the room actually worked and one of the bed side lamps was blown out since the time we arrived. We also requested to have those items fixed on our first night and it was never done.My recommendation to B Ocean would just be to listen a little more to guests and improve the cleaning of the rooms, especially considering the current COVID-19 situation.

Customer service was 100%, food from all the restaurants was fantastic. We will be back!

I will rate this hotel due to a security guard name Rodell, the guard told me I could not eat my ice cream in the lobby. I put my ice cream away, Mr. Rodell than proceeded to stand there as I was being baby sat. I asked for his name i was told I dont need it, I than retrieved it from the front desk. Once talking to the hotel manager he explained Mr.Rodell told the story different, so not only was I portrayed as a bad person, but I also felt very uneasy about this gentlemen watching me. As a paying guest at this resort i felt harrased and uncomfortable, the staff and stay was great but Mr. Rodell has ruined my experience and I will not be back unless this gentleman is removed.

B OCEAN IS A BEAUTIFUL RESORT. MY BEST FRIEND AND I WAS EXCITED ABOUT OUR STAY IN THE RESORT. OUR ROOM FEE BEFORE ARRIVAL WAS 306$. AS WE CHECKED IN WE HAD TO PLACE A 225$ DEPOSIT ON THE ROOM WHICH WAS NORMAL. WE SLEPT GREAT OUR FIRST NIGHT. WE STARTED OUT OFFICIAL FIRST DAY THE NEXT DAY HANGING OUT AT THE BEACH BUT IT WAS SHORT LIVED DUE TO RAIN WE STAYED IN OUR ROOM FOR A FEW OURS AS WE LEFT TO GO GET SO FOOD ON THE BEAUTIFUL WATERFRONT OF FORT LAUDERDALE WE RETURNED TO OUR HOTEL ROOM AND THINGS LOOKS NORMAL WE LEFT OUR ROOM A MESS BUT THERE WAS MONEY MISSING OFF OF THE TABLE. WE REPORTED TO THE FRONT DESK STAFF THAT WE HAVE MONEY MISSING FROM OUR ROOM BUT WE DISNT NOTICE AT THIS POINT ONE OF THE HOTLE EMPLOYEES HAD SERVICED OUR ROOM BECAUSE IT WAS STILL A MESS AFTER GOING BACK UPSTAIRS WE REALIZED OUR BED WERE MADE. WE UNDERSTAND THAT HOUSE KEEPING IS ALLOWED IN THE ROOM TO SERVICE IT BUT AT THE FRONT DESK THERE IS A WELCOME PAPER WITH COVID RULES AND ON THAT PAPER IT STATES AS FOLLOWED WE HAVE LIMITED ALL IN ROOM ACCESS AND IF WE NEED HOUSE KEEPING SERVICES TO CONTACT THE GUEST SERVICE OPERATOR AND PLACE A REQUEST. WE NEVER CALLED FOR HOUSE KEEPING. NO ONE SHOULD OF BEEN INSIDE TO CLEAN THE ROOM DURING COVID UNLESS WE ASKED THIS IS THEIR RULES AND THEY DID NOT FOLLOW IT. BEFORE WE LEFT OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR BECAUSE HE WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH HOUSE KEEPING HE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO TAKE US TO GET FOOD AT FIRST WE BELIEVED IT COULD OF BEEN HIM BUT WE REALIZED HE NEVER ENTERD OUR ROOM HE WAS JUST A KIND NEIGHBOR LOOKING FOR ANSWERS. WE MADE A POLICE REPORT AND THE FRONT DESK STAFF TOLD THE OFFICER OUR STORY HAD HOLES IN IT BUT WE ARE NOT GONING TO BLAME A MAN FOR STEALING WHEN WE KNOW HE DIDNT DO IT. MY BEST FRIEND AND I ARE BOTH HARD WORKING PEOPLE WE WOULD NEVER GET MUCH OUT OF LYING ABOUT 700$ WE ONLY TOLD TGE STAFF WE DIDNT HAVE A ACTUAL COUNT OF THE CASH BECAUSE WE LEFT IN A HURRY BUT WE ARE 100% SURE IT WAS THERE BEFORE WE ALL LEFT ME HER AND OUR FRIEND WE MEET AT THE HOTEL WE HAVE PROOF HE WAS WITH US AND WE ALSO HAVE PROOF THE DOORS CONNECTING THE ROOM CAN NOT BE OPENED ON EITHER SIDE UNLESS YOU HAVE A KEY. AFTER BEING ROBBED AND BARLY ENJOYED OUR TRIP THE HOTEL STILL WANTED TO REQUEST 130$ RESORT FEE WITHOUT THE INVESTIGATION BEING COMPLETED. I WORK FLR BUILDING SERVICES AS A CONCIERGE AND THE WAY WE WERE TREATED BY THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS NOT PLEASANT. WE WERE CRYING HYPERVENTILATING CONFUSED AND NOT ONE PERSON AT THE DESK ASKED US IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING AS SIMPLE AS WATER. THE SECURITY GUARD WAS THE ONLY LIGHT WE WERE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH HE WAS PATIENT HE TOOK HIS TIME TO HELP US GATHER OUR THOUGHTS AND HE ALSO ASK US TO TAKE A SEAT A BREATHE WE APPRECIATE HIS KINDNESS TO US IN OUR TROUBLED MOMENTS . I DON’T BELIEVE IT WAS A RACE ISSUE WE BELIVE IT WAS A ISSUE THAT THE STAFF JUST TRULY DIDN’T WANT TO DEAL WITH ITS BEEN A FEW DAYS AND I HAVEN’T HEARD BACK FROM THE INSURANCE CLAIM. AMANDA THE PROPERTY SUPERVISOR COULD HAVE HAD BETTER COMMUNICATION WITH US AFTER SHE FOLLOWED UP WITH THE HOUSEKEEPER THAT DID SERVICE OUR ROOM SHE DID NOT CALL US TO GIVE US AN UPDATE WE HAD TO CALL HER IT WAS LITTLE ABOUT THE MONEY AND MORE ABOUT HOW WE WERE TREATED IN RESPONSE TO BEING ROBBED AT THEIR FACILITY. EVEN AFTER BEING ROBBED HOUSE KEEPING STILL KEPT KNOCKING ON THE DOOR ASKING US FOR SERVICE.

Room not the cleanliness. Ocean view was just a partial view and did not appreciate that one of the staff members singled me out from drinking when everyone around me had drinks in their hands. Never going back.

When we booked for ocean view suite with a king bed, they wanted to give us what they wanted to. Get to the room, and still didnt get ocean view.

Not all buildings are created equal. We were in the oldest building. The bath was tiny and although newly renovated, designed with no counter space. The door was glass so no robe hooks. There was no escaping the sounds from other rooms and the pool. Room was laid out awkwardly with no desk space. We also waited nearly two hrs after our check in time and when we finally got in in was DIRTY. These are from the bathroom.

Turn in the middle . Great view, great pool,bar is decent but our rooms were questionable. Immediately after exciting the elevator from lobby 6th floor. I was hit with a funky mold smell which from day 1 bothered me . My boyfriend and I came for a 4 day birthday trip and found quickly how pricey things here can be. On top of the room charges, your paying reports fees on top of parking fees. I know next time to park in overnight public parking lots for $25 instead of the hotel overnight for $40. The showers are new and nice except half the door is missing which was weird. Im ok with glass door showers but this shower seemed to be missing something the door to the shower. No door causes the shower to be slight colder than usual. The lobby is nice the rooms are a little small and could use some minor touch ups and dusting but nothing major. The balcony view makes everything worth it. I will for sure give the hotel another chance but that smell is haunting me so hopefully next trip will be smell free.

The staff was friendly. The resort is located right on the beach, and there is easy access to the business section of Fort Lauderdale. I enjoyed the deck. The pool was beautiful. My only suggestion is adding microwaves to the rooms. I also never received more towels, and they never asked to clean our room.

This place is beautiful. Good rates in room but make sure you understand all of the other additional fees. Resort fees, 35 dollars a day parking fees, and any other additional fees. Friendly staff and great views of beach. Nice pools. No compliment breakfast .

My stay at B hotel resort at Fort Lauderdale was amazing!!!! I went there for the beach!!! And OMG!!! Manager “BUD” made my stay at its beach as pleasant as it can be!!!! He made sure he accommodated all my needs so my family and I where able to have the time of our lives!!!!! Thank you “BUD” for going the extra miles for your costumers!!!!!

Everithing was good no issues from the parking to the beach have their own parking , you get one towel per person,the cleaning lady was very nice i got in the hotel while she was cleaning.

Good place to stay on labor weekend. Beach was clean and quiet
