This Veteran Park is amazingly beautiful. The monuments were well thought out and displayed. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Florence to stop and stretch your legs to view a magnificently manicured memorial to Vets from the 1900,s to today.

We enjoyed walking around. So many interesting facts. Statues. Places to sit and relax. Or even picnic. Just beautiful.

This park is a must visit. I conveniently stayed at the Residence Inn next to this park. This park is dog friendly and it is very clean. It is a great reminder of those who made sacrifices for this country... For us. The Alone With Memories statue brought tears to my eyes. Im really glad that I had the opportunity to visit this park. I spent about 40 mins here. I could easily spend over an hour if the weather wasnt so hot for my pups.

Not sure if its a 1 star or a 5 star park. Drove around in circles for 30 minutes and looks like this park doesnt even exist, the only thing theres was the closed off Florence Center. Then called the phone number listed, they gave us another adres on Barnes street and same story. Would really like to visit Florence Veterans Park, but not sure if it even exists.

Was looking for a local dog friendly park close to my location to try and I absolutely loved it. It was very clean & well maintained. The monuments were absolutely beautiful. I loved the teardrop waterfall. I could walk laps around this place all day I didnt wanna leave. Will definitely be going back. Such a wonderful job by all organizations involved.

Mostly quiet, beautifully manicured, dog friendly, regular visitors. Excellent place for POGO and WU players. You feel removed from the city even though youre just a mile from the mall and hotels. Part of the popular Rail Trail for Florence.

Veterans Park in Florence is a very nice memorial garden. There are several statues dedicated to all the different wars Americans have served in. There is also a piece of limestone from the 9/11 terrorists attack on the Pentagon. Its a very calming peaceful walk. A great place to pay respects.

One of THE best veteran parks weve ever visited! Handicap-friendly, this beautiful park has monuments and memorials to all branches of military, and each war. Meditative spaces abound, including ample seating at the fountain of tears. This park includes statues dedicated to homecoming vets, as well as loved ones mourning those who never made it home. This compact park has it all - it alone is worth a destination visit to Florence. Sadly, we are limited to just 5 stars maximum. This deserves 10!

Small, but very nice park. I stay in hotel adjacent to the park on frequent travels between Virginia and Florida - nice break from the road and my pup loves the place. Well done Florence.

Vets park is one of those places I like to go to relax and just walk around. The monuments are very nice and educational for those that want to teach someone a little about what it means to serve. On a side note this is an area people like to come and play games on thier phones, but its also good for the family I bring my kids here for bike rides and sunshine and they love it.

A simple park for families and elderly to visit. A large parking lot is right beside it and there are areas to sit. Its small, but nice.

This is a very pretty, well groomed park. Its dedicated to those who have served our country and there are a bunch of statues and monuments there with soldiers named and stories on them. The park is always very clean and grass is immaculate! The is a paved walking path around the whole park for those who like walking and it also connects/is a part of the florence rail trail. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this place. Very well kept . Love the historical military monuments. Great place for a walk with the nice sidewalks that go all through the park. It’s a great little park to pay tribute to our u.s. military.

Took my son and Wife here for an pokemon battle . I walked arround and was impressed with the memory of the Veterans!

Lovely monuments to the armed forces. Everyone you see there are either maintenance workers or playing Pokemon Go.

The Florence Veterans Park offers a peaceful and tranquil area where everyone can come and enjoy locally crafted art and rich history. I have also come across many people taking advantage of its interconnected trails free truly immersive and visual workout experience. The only Improvement I would suggest, is to increase the options for sit down and shaded areas. Otherwise, the Florence Veterans Park offers an exceptional experience!
