A great family park. A big playground for kids. Several ponds with docks and gazebos. Lots of green space. Probably the best park Ive seen in North Alabama

Visited here early the next morning after arriving in Florence. This is a beautiful park with long winding concrete paved paths. Large ponds with turtles that come up to the edge. I think they are used to being fed by the visitors. Many of the paths wind through large pine trees that seem to touch the sky. The only thing that would make this place more beautiful would be some beautiful flower beds. For a nice walk or jog with natural beauty to boot you cant go wrong.

Love this park. It has a great walking path with beautiful ponds. The playground is rather big and nice as well. I miss living in Florence and coming here a lot...I only get to come once in a blue moon now.

I dont live very close to the park but anytime Im going to my parents I like to stop here and walk on the trail or let my son play on the playground. Its usually very well maintained.

Beautiful and peaceful trails to walk, run, play on. The playground is fantastic. Just know that there are no picnic tables but there are benches to sit on if you forget your chairs.

One of the best parks in Florence! Plenty of trail for walking/jogging. Turtles everywhere and sometimes you can see rabbits and other creatures during spring. Great place for photos, bring kids, have a date, clear your head, whatever. I love it here. And best of all it’s FREE!

Its a nice park for its size. Open areas for people to play soccer and nice walking area for those who are looking for a blacktop instead of trails. Relaxing pond to sit by or bring your own hammock to rest in.

Beautiful park, great for a relaxing stroll or a nice jog. I especially enjoy sitting on the water on the covered deck area watching the birds and turtles.

It is a awesome place to walk or jog your blues away. A lake with walk across bridges all the walkways are extra wide & concrete. Benches along the way to sit if you need a break. Playground for children nice, a shelter next to playground. Bathroom facilities, water fountain for drinking. Nice place to sit just outside the bathroom facility. Older Tall pine trees the lawns and landscaping are extremely well kept. A must see and experience also you may walk your dog on a leash with advantage of free poop bags and disposal. Enjoy the big blue sky of Florence, Alabama.

Huge park! Great for kids & walkers. Well maintained. Safe but if you are a single woman stay away from the wooded areas. I love this park. Youll see some wildlife. Ponds are teeming with fish and turtles. Lots of good quality playground equipment and very nice and well-maintained bathrooms.

Fostered a dog for a day and took him to the park. It was wonderful for us both. Beautiful and relaxing. Couldnt have asked for a better day or a more beautiful park.

This park is stunningly beautiful and so very serene and peaceful. It is the perfect demonstration of Florences grand outdoor attitude and exhibits our local pride for our parks and for our rich heritage. If you have not had the pleasure, grab the family pet, a Frisbee, a kite, your roller blades or just a picnic basket and get there today. Feed the fish and turtles before you stroll past the blue calming waters and gaze up at the rustling pines in the forest. Truly a Florence treat!!

Had a beautiful day at a beautiful patk. Awesome playground...it was huge. Very nice trail with a pond. It was definitely worth going...and i will definitely take the family back there again and again. There was also a large public restroom. My kids love this park over any other park. The trail is awesome and it is absolutely gorgeous there.

Large parking area. Awesome scenic walking trail (concrete walkway) including a gazebo on the pond. Great for running or walking. Bathrooms area are typically kept clean. Water drinking fountains included. Nice & large outside pavillion with picnic tables that are perfect for hosting birthday parties. Theres a ton of grassy areas for kids to throw ball & other activities on. Also includes a decent amount of parent viewing benches to keep an eye on your kids while you rest your feet. A walking distance away is also the a childrens museum that I have yet to visit, but fully intend to asap.

Thanks to the Diebert family for giving such a beautiful perfect park to our city. My family has enjoyed so many walks, birthdays and special moments at this place. We love it. Dont love the dip-wads that dont pickup after their dogs. So watch where you step.

Ive never come across any type of danger there. Very safe and friendly people usually exercising, on dates, or walking their dog. I personally take my bearded dragon and people love to pet her♡ beautiful large pond and opens early. Theres a gate that protects the park from vandalism at night.

Deibert Park is hands down the best park in the Shoals for everyone. There’s long paved trails for runners or pet owners, short walks to the pier for families, a huge play gym, large open areas to play ball, and best of all, is always very clean and take great care of.

Diebert Park is the best park in the Florence area. Its beautiful, clean, and always nice. I do portrait shoots there, go walking, take my kids to play on the playground, and visit with the squirrel and turtles. Its well maintained and is very safe.

Really nice park.

This has always been one of my favorite parks. Its a great place to take my 4 year old to ride her bike, play at the playground, fly a kite, and feed the turtles and fish. My only complaint about this park is they do not have any picnic tables. Setting up some picnic tables around the park and under the covered structure would make this place perfect!!

Great place to go for a walk. Two or three miles of concrete walkways winding around some large beautifully kept ponds and trees. The rows of flags set off the beautiful park.Also has a very nice kids playground.

One of the best parts youll find anywhere. Theres a variety of places to enjoy with beautiful scenery and good lakes. The trails are excellent with benches along the pathway. Theres also plenty of parking and the very nice kids play area.

I go for the walking trail.Which is enormous and beautiful, dont forget to stop on the bridges and watch the turtles.We kept very nice walking path and playgrounds.

This has and always will be my favorite park. It has long trails perfect for biking or simply walking, and the scenery is beautiful. I often had picnics here as a kid and enjoyed my time on the slides. Ive been going here since I was a baby. The restrooms and trails are clean and they often give you little facts about the species living there. It is such a great place to spend the day, and I miss it since Im now living in Kansas.

This is a great park for all. It Really has somethig for everyone. A Nice paved walking path. A large play ground, multiple ponds full of fish frogs and turtles.There are always people there enjoying the out doors

I love going here with family and when people visit. Its a nice,well-kept,park. Good for children and dogs alike. Its also Alabama,where everyone waves and smiles,and will talk your ear off if you let them.

One of my favorite places to go to run, work out, and just reflect in general. There is quite a bit of history here, I wont ruin it for those who have not been, but the various plaques and memorials there tell the story. I came up with a very tough workout that I call the Veteran memorial that I do here by the memorial flags. Its a real crusher, and impossible to quit while doing it because its honoring the fallen who gave their all.

We loved visiting this park and will definitely go back.

We love feeding the turtles and fish. We saw huge catfish! The playground is well maintained, with a great variety of equipment.

My girlfriend broke up with after we went here. Im now depressed and regretting my life decision to go to this park. Nonetheless I will do my job as a local guide to review this place with trying not to cry. I can remember it like yesterday I was walking (honestly speed walking because jesus christ the girl I was with walked like someone was chasing her) through the wooded area and enjoyed it. Anyways, after 40 minutes going around the park out of breath I have to say its been well maintained and looks pretty nice. So if you want to go here (not on a date) I recommend it.

Awesome countryside views spacious, openness delightful. We are new in the area and this park was a blessing for us thru all the seasons. We enjoy every minute we are there. Friendly folks walking constantly in Deibert Park.

I took my mom and dad who were visiting to Deibert park and we all agreed it was the nicest city park any of us have ever seen. Theres a playground and a childrens museum, but the real draw is nature itself carved out of a population center. Highly recommend.

A nice place to spend time with your family. A great play area, paved walking trail and lots of different Wildlife to be found. Also home of Childrens Museum of the Shoals.
