This is a nice quiet park, with clean facilities, a shelter, baseball field and lovely play equipment. It is in great condition, clean and well kept. A fine example of Boone County parks. Fantastic place to take smaller kids as it has a small children play area as well as equipment for older kids. It is beautifully lined by verdant woods, which are nice to walk.

Its been years since weve been here with our girls. Stopped by for a picnic with our granddaughter today. Still a hidden gem in Florence. New playground equipment, well maintained ball fields, nice basketball court, nice tennis courts and the Pavillion and restrooms were clean. We will be back again soon.

Very nice park for young kids. Play area was clean and well taken care of. Spacious shelter for picnics. 2 ball fields basketball courts and tennis courts. Clean working restrooms. Water fountains (for pets too) and lots of benches. Will be back!!

I liked this park because my granddaughter likes to go and run around and play in the park. Also its clean and close to home.

It is a very nice place to have a picnic however, a chain was blocking the picnic area. Some people are old and cant walk that far. There were a few people who almost fell. We did have that reserved l believe. The Boone Highschool Alumni. Thanks

Very nice, very very quiet.

We should have been warned, after we had reserved the shelter house several months earlier, that the playground equipment was restricted. It was surrounded by fence barriers, and by mounds of dirt and piles of gravel.The picnic tables were dirty and the air unhealthy because of the blowing dirt and debris. We have been using this spot for years. You have our information. You should have contacted us, explained the condition of the area , and given us the option to change our reservation to another time. We are very disappointed.

Nice park well kept have public grills baseball fields and basket ball court can easily spend hours there with family while grilling our lunch

First time there will be returning soon. My child is 18 months and was able to run and play without worry all the children were well behaved and we were there for more than a half hour without any issue

Great park ample bathroom facilities. Picnic area in shade with grill. Large playground for kids of all ages. 2 baseball fields and tennis courts. I will definitely be back. Great place for a party.

My 10 year old grandson loves playing at this playground.

Lovely neighborhood park. The basketball and tennis courts are well tended. Lots of room for little ones to play. They did recently cut down several wonderful young trees and as of this writing there is some serious construction going on. Im really hoping it is to enhance this great space.

Great place for kids to play basketball and swing

Its not a very large playground... And they dont have the rubber ground, its the real soft, and mushy mulch. I fell in the mulch and fractured my ankle bc of the mulch, and with it being wet from the rain, made the mulch a lot worse, and the kids horribly muddy..

This place has a playground, two baseball fields, a basketball court, and a little party in the woods. Great park but a usual there is some litter. Please clean up your mess if you visit.

Use to have a great wide open area to play. Now it is under construction for a city maintenance building.
