Very cool stop. Glad you can still free roam around the site and take as many pics as you want! Beware of phantom images in your pics though.. I got a couple cool ones! Id share them but just go take your own.. its worth it!
Worth the stop for a bit of nostalgia. Sad to see the Google Maps images still showing the old building with painted signs and now its just a graffitied mess.
Nice place to explore some days of yesterday and street art.
Historic stop otw to the painted desert. Hate to see it run down like it is but its worth the pictures
Beautiful ruins and scenery, but not dog friendly. Too much broken glass.
If you are on the way CHECK IT OUT. The two giant arrows are standing there near the telephone booth. The buildings of the trading post are in BAD shape but I was still able to walk around and go inside..there is GLASS everywhere so be careful or wear gym shoes. There are murals everywhere because people just go there and do what they want. The place is a bit OFF ROAD and...dont wash the CAR before you go.On the highway there are signs for the TRADING POST in case you cannot find it.The land now belongs to the casino
The arrows were cool, but the run down station beside them held an eerie, but beautiful atmosphere about it. Wonderful graffiti for photos, but watch out for broken glass and holes to another reality.
Super great photos to be taken if youre into abandoned ruin type things!
Abandoned town with lost of co graffiti. Great photo spot.
An olde Rt. 66 landmark? Pretty neat place to take pictures. Bring the kids!
Really cool to actually stop here, sure you can see it from the road, but it was a great excuse to stretch the legs!
Cool to check out some old ruins.
The graffiti is beautiful, the arrows are a sweet photo op, and the ruins of the trading post are mad neat to poke around!
If you like abandonded places this one is amazing. Its open so you can head inside. We were a bit worried there was asbestos around so cover your mouth. Beautiful graffiti art all over and has some amazing history
An excellent place to get out take pictures and do some exploring!
Ah, what history of the place, just seeing what it once was is so astonishing
Just 2 cool old arrows on the side of the road near a tribal casino in the middle of nowhere.
I love abandoned places, and this is by far one of the coolest. There is enough stuff still around from when it was in its hayday that you can really feel that eerie stepping back in time feeling. So many cool things to see, great graffiti, and I love the arrows! A must-see for any fellow urbex lovers!
Standing out there, you get a sense of the desperation at time for a very hard moment in our history. These places were so important for the desperate travelers.
Back when, Twin Arrows use to be one of my favorite places to stop. I drove my semi-truck coast to coast, from Charlotte NC to Pico Riviera CA. They had good coffee, food and conversation. Not to mention pretty waitresses. Hate to see it closed and vandalized.
When taking in Route 66, definitely a good stop to take in some history. Please dont vandalize....
Forrest Gump got mud on his face right here!!
Interesting, run down, abandoned place. We had a trunk lunch and poked around a bit. We didnt venture too far into the buildings as we didnt want any debris to land on us. into the
Fascinating graffiti on an abandoned trading post
1min drive from the exit of I-40. Defo recommend
Really cool bit of Americana along old Route 66. Great spot for photos.

Abandoned on point! Great for a quick photo snap!
Although it is run down and falling apart, it was neat to see the historical Route 66 landmark. Plus some of the graffiti is pretty awesome.

Really cool place to see! My husband still remembers the old gas station from when he was a kid!

If people are getting the urge to paint, the arrows need repainting as does the buildings, place needs to be torn down because of the vandalism
