I went waist deep today at the dam and kept catching wiper after wiper. if you want to catch some fish just for the fun, put a jig on your line and fish away. Ive never had so much fun fishing!

If youre fishing or boating, this place rocks! I was exploring and hiking in search of ancient habitation. I know this region is rich in archeological heritage, but it is very difficult to locate. However, a truck load of desert hiking fun to explore!

Fished nothing but an up to the the bones cold, jeje, but a nice place

There is decent bass fishing but fish are out off the shore at times with a boat it would be great fishing

Always nice. Very full right now and people been leaving trash on the beaches. Spent a half hour picking up trash around our spot so dogs and kids wouldnt step on it.

Super Clean Areas to Play in The Lake, Had a Great Time With Friends and Family

Good place to go spend time relaxing with family. Just dont go out there when its windy, cant do do much on a day that is too windy.

Clean, water warm, not crowded, some trees, absolutely beautiful.

Lake looks REALLY Great ! People are fishing & doing OK.

The Dam was pretty incredible to walk around and visually digest while the water was so low. I happened to pull up while one of the gates were open so, a ton of water was flowing down the canal. Very neat yet a bit thrilling to stand so close to such fast moving wate. Also, there was a lot of ice build-up towards the end where the water was forcefully recharging the reservoir. I highly recommend visiting the park though. Overlanding through the trails, cruising the beaches and sliding around in some mud really made for an enjoyable trip. Specially without anybody else around to say otherwise. Will certainly be coming back for some more seasonal summer fun.
