Had some meetings here and this place is beautiful! So neat to have meetings in a historic roundhouse. Absolutely beautiful building. On the inside, the track is still there so you can see where the trains came and went. Im excited for the continued renovation work around the site. I would love to visit again.

This is such a beautiful place we have here in our town that provides such a wonderful place to hold events. I have participated in many events at the Round house and they are always beautiful.

Loved this venue! In the future when all remodeling is complete it will be even better. It a great space for entertainment, you get a rich history experience on top of the festivities. What a great way to repurpose a facility.

OMG this town is all in on this old round house.. they are doing it right. we rode the round table . they had a plate so we could get the wheelchair on. awesome

We were on quilt shop quests. Evanston was on our list. Also loved seeing the roundhouse & other train related sites.

Went for an event the toy train set up which was impressive. I was with adult son we explored the entire grounds which a lot of area improved, some spots still being worked on but the completion was fantastic. City of Evanston has put in tremendous work to bring rundown to beautiful history in our lifetimes. We also was given ride on railcar turntable waited a lifetime for that, totally awesome.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The history of the building and the Railyards is amazing as it played a huge part in the early beginnings of Evanston. Amazing!

One of the few remaining Roundhouses left in the Country. Working turn table with beautifully restored conference rooms and large open areas. The facility is way under utilized for conferences only because the City is managing it and under promoting its qualities. Low priced Hotel rooms are available in Evanston as well as newer Chains allowing even a conference of 1500 attendees to be accomodated between all the open space and individual buildings in the community. If you are looking for a lower cost conference room alternative with historic flair this is the place.

I went to model train day. I havent been to rail yards for few years, wow what great improvements at restoration. The buildings & grounds just beautifully done, & I got to ride the train turnaround been waiting for that all my 58 years.

Beautiful place. We took family pictures here this time, but weve had conferences here as well. Very well kept and organized and they restored it wonderfully.

One of the coolest railroad areas ever thats being turned into the city hall (or already has been, I dont know). And they got the turntable restored too.

This is a very nice and amazingly restored old building and convention center.

Its a beautifully renovated building for community activities. It is handicapped accessible and there is handicapped parking.

A nice historic location with nearly open access. Community events are often hosted in the refurbished portions of both the round house and the machine shop. Signage is posted to explain the former use scenario of all three buildings. Touring is unguided and lacks a clear structure, however.

A must see, especially for those who love history of the West, trains and amazing architecture.

Very historic they are renovating it to bring in an incredible Brewery. Was recently hit by Major vandalism but they are fixing it this place to look nice when it is done

Been to several events here and watched the reconstruction been interesting seeing it brought back to life.
