This is a fabulous place. Great wines. Great views. It feels magical to sit outdoors with a bottle of fine wine overlooking the beautiful vineyards and the rolling hill country. During COVID, bring your own glasses.

If I lived nearby, this would be my hangout. It was a nice space. The wines were very good but I was very impressed by the snack options. They were so tasty and reasonably priced. If you are wine tasting plan to stop here to refuel.

Sarver is a lovely winery close to Eugene that truly has an amazing variety of great quality wines. My absolute favorite summer wine is their sparkling Rose. Their Pinot Noir is also fantastic along with several other red varieties. Its definitely worth a trip to this cozy winery with beautiful views of the hills and valleys surrounding Eugene. They have a nice variety of charcuterie and a huge outdoor patio for warmer, sunny days. Definitely a great place to grab a glass, sit back, and relax.

We love the wine but several of the staff are quite unfriendly. We actually quit the wine the club because if the rude service even though we love the wines. We came back a year later to see if things changed but they didn’t.

My group arrived at Sarvers in the late afternoon on a Saturday. It was my birthday and our group consisted of several teachers, two nurses, a police officer, a caretaker, and various other community servants. Part of my group went in to order food and wine; two of my sisters, my husband and I waited outside to take a few photos. When we attempted to walk inside, a dark haired woman stepped into the doorway, physically barring our entrance. We were taken aback at her confrontational manner, but also ready to listen politely to whatever she had to say. And listen we did, while she admonished and chastised us because the large group before us was unruly (apparently). She went on extensively about their antics and said groups would not be welcome in the future because they did not project the image they were trying to convey. Please bear in mind, we had been there for about six minutes, and four of us did not even walk in the door before being lambasted and chided for the actions of a previous group of people whom we did not even know. I cannot attest to the quality of their wine because we left immediately and will not be back. It was unwarranted, rude, assuming, and not at all the image I wish to convey.

If I could give this more than a 5, I would! We went on a Friday evening and there was a great band and there was excellent catered food. We also got a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers they serve at the wine tasting station. What a great experience! The view is also wonderful! Definitely go! You wont be disappointed!

Such a great place! Highly recommended. Wonderful deck, awesome views, GREAT wine. Its rare for me that I really like every wine I taste. This was a first. And the people are so great; very accommodating to me. Its fun to think of having a small gathering out there. I definitely will go back. Ive read reviews about not-good service, but honestly, I feel like saying, maybe just chill a tiny bit. It is a small place. Sometimes in life you might even have to wait. Its worth it.

One of the area’s hidden gems. The staff is great, the wine is superior and well-priced, and the cross-valley view all the way to the Three Sisters when the weather is nice rounds out what is always an excellent visit. Very reasonable tasting fee, live music, good nibbles—all a beautiful and short drive west from Eugene. Definitely one of my go-to wineries when I have friends visiting from out-of-town.

I had previously left a long review but Google keeps messing up the formatting so Im retracting it. Summary: beautiful location and great wine. Staff cant keep up with popularity of the place and service is often terrible. Food is often served missing items stated on the menu, like olives and fresh fruit.

I was double charged after receiving conflicting stories about my tab being closed. Staff could not communicate with each other on the issue and when I called back on the following day, they did not fix the problem. I was told to call again on Monday, on a day that they are closed, possibly by mistake.Update:Ian was very responsive to this problem and it was eventually resolved through my banks payment dispute program. Sarver tried their best to remedy the situation on their end and it was eventually taken care of. I greatly appreciated the fast responses and dilegence to see this problem though. Thank you, Ian!

Took my mom on a surprise wine tour. I picked two places and the business picked two, one being Sarver. The nine of us agreed that even though the landscape was beautiful, the service was absolutely terrible. It started with the servers not even really giving us attention (I thought maybe they were trying to help others), but when the people left we still had terrible service. Every time they came to the table they kept asking and forgetting what wine I was trying. Im sorry a table of nine is not that difficult. I dont think any of us feel inclined to return. There was really no excuse for the poor service.

A 2hr Sunday drive from our hotel in Portland, down into Eugene and the Williamette Valley, off the beaten path you will find Sarver Winery. Perched up on the hill side on some senic rolling acreage. After a drive up through the front gate is a long winding gravel driveway, up to the main tasting shack. You will see the free range cattle grazing on the still green frosted grass..... Each and every one staring directly at us as we made the climb. Pulling in we were greeted by the owners majestic, beautiful white male Samoyed, DJengo! ... he walked us to the front door of the tasting room where upon entering through their rustic wooden door, wafted out this delicious, decadent, aroma of #beefbourguignon on the stove, (the Sunday special) ... and then this beautiful view of the Cascade Mountains and Vista through the back French doors... needless to say we both looked at each other with a reaffirming grin and without a word knew we picked the right place to spend this cold December afternoon....If you find yourself in Oregons Willamette Valley this would be my number one pick for a great stop.
