The Christmas market was fantastic. Great good, fun crafts, amazing wine. The owners mingled with their dog, Nate, and they were very friendly people. Cant wait to come back!

Small husband-and-wife owned and operated winery in Escondido area. Cute patio for tasting. Wines in this area are ‘emerging’ so this is a fun place with helpful owners and staff

Quaint little Winery perched on the side of the hill. You can tell the owners are very interested in their customers and their wine, and care to get to know you a little bit. This was our 5th stop after a day of wine tasting in Escondido and by far our favorite spot. Would definitely come here again!

My best friend and I decided to have a girls day and Google brought us here! Despite the 107*F weather, we had a very welcoming atmosphere to learn the history & science behind every Bottle, Label, and their well deserved awards... We even had the privilege of DRINKING with the owners&wine makers...by far the best customer service from genuine and caring people. Multiple wineries were visited the same day, but they had the richest and most authentic wine !!! They have 5 for a reason!!!

Highland Valley Vineyards makes the best red wines in San Diego. The location from the road looks just like a normal house located on a hill, but dont be deceived, amazing wine is close by. All of the wines servered at the vineyard are red. Mainly focusing on Bordeaux style and all of them are delicious. My favorite is their Cabernet Sauvignon, which is the best youll find in the area. The view from the winery also is incredible. All of the seating in the outside seating area provides views of the gorgeous valley. Their tastings and wine from a glass are a good price, even cheaper then some of the wineries in the region. Their bottles are also very reasonably priced for the quality even compared to other wineries around the world. I highly recommend visiting this winery, the staff and owners are very nice and passionate about the wine. You can sit and enjoy the view or sit down with them and chat. I highly recommend visiting the winery, its definitely worth the trip.
