Such a beautiful trail during the April season. When I was in Texas I just loved to visit this place. Gather your friends and plan a visit to Ennis. There are so many trails and so not much crowed every where. Find the right time to visit. During sunset it will be beautiful.

The best place in Texas to see the bluebonnets. They are everywhere in this town and so beautiful.

Best time to visit this place is mid of April . There are 3 trails I.e South trail , North and East . Best one is South trail .

Gorgeous bluebonnets! Spent a few hours driving the north and south trails enjoying peak week.

The staff at the ennis visitors center were cooperative.we took the northern trail and the scenery was beautiful.

Ennis is undergoing a huge transition! Downtown Ennis is very interesting, with historic buildings and architectural beauty. I believe it will be a popular choice for travelers on I-45.

Such a fun and beautiful experience! If you have not gone out to see the fields of bluebonnets I highly recommend you make it happen!

Very nice went early in April so fields not as abundant but probably will be especially after rain today

Amazing! My kids and wife loved it, even my son had fun in the park filled with blue bonnets. Highly recommend it for family outing.

South & West trails didnt had lot of flower blossomed. More all the properties are privately owned so taking pictures becomes difficult.North Trail was pretty good. Few property owners had opened there ranch for public. Had good time.

This place was Great. I took my 2 grandsonsand we had lots of fun!

Lovely trail around the area. Feel sorry for the people who live along those roads. Visitors were not staying off the land even with signs up not to trespass.

This is a great place if you want to take pictures if you are looking to get pictures taken in Bluebonnet so you can do it at a better location than the Ennis Bluebonnet trails. the times that can be a little deserted but if you go during the peak season of bluebonnets is usually quite crowded

Traditionally one of the most beautiful scenic drives in all of Texas come bluebonnet season. Unfortunately this year(2016) did not produce the best weather for the bluebonnets. The city has a great visitors center dedicated almost entirely to the bluebonnets. Plenty of great places to pull over and take amazing photos of these beautiful state treasures. Plan your trip and visit the website for the best times to go.

I thought it was a WALKING trail since it says TRAILS. You gotta drive to everything. All it is is vendors selling same old with the notion that theres fields to go look at if you want to. We did find a dirt cheap store which was awesome and a Mexican restaurant that we loved. Next time I go to Ennis will be not for the trails but the two things described above.

We travel an hour to get here, every year, and have always taken home the best pictures! The folks at the Visitor Center will guide you to the best places for pictures of bluebomnets. There are even tour shuttles if you want to hire one.

Its a great weekend getaway from Houston! Beautiful blooms all around the town. There were horses on the trails and visitors could feed them oats!! Beautiful place, highly recommend visiting during the festival.

Wonderful ladies, Great information about the Ennis Area and places to shop and eat. The woman were very welcoming and kind hearted. Enjoyed my visit with them and the information they so kindly gave. Everyone should stop in to find out what the wonderful town of Ennis offers!!!! :)

From what I can see, I dont see all that much flowers around this county. I thought there would be much more.

Had a hard time finding spots that werent private property on the north trails it doesnt mention on the site that the majority of it is private property. Eventually found spots for some great photos on the south trails. Attended the festival, great fun. Watch out for Alayshe conseccion though. She sold my child a broken toy, tried to get our money back never even walked away from the stand.... She refused stating she gets paid commission and it would come out of her pocket..and she would see us another for a lower price...ugh no. Had to file through my bank to try and get our money back.....

Due to flood this year there are no or very few Bluebonnets. You manage to see few fields inside the fence. It was very disappointing experience.

Beautiful!! People are very helpful to get on the trail and find the flowers. Be sure to have a full day ready to travel around and carry snacks so that you can have some while on the fields with the flowers.

Nice festival. A great variety of vendors and lots of wineries to sample.

Great place for bluebonnet lovers

Every year the city of Ennis tidies itself up and pretends to be a little trendy to attract a few tourists. The city becomes over run with hipsters and the elderly whom quickly realize theres NOTHING to do here.

So many photo opportunities. Definitely coming back next year, endless amount of places to see and the area was well taken care of and very clean!
