I love the space in the park. Went to an event here and have to say that the location is clean and the toys are awesome. I love coming here and my daughter does as well.

Old play area--the toys are made of wood and the slides are metal instead of plastic, which is fun. Sheltered picnic area, lots of grass, and a couple of horseshoe pits (though you need to bring your own horseshoes).

Great for a small park. Play equipment is fun, but outdated. Has great shade trees and a gazebo. Lots of grass for picnics and lawn games.

This is our dogs favorite place to go run. Sure there is a leash law in Ellensburg, but most people let their dogs run free out here - especially if you make your way across the soccer fields and head west towards the cross-country skiing paths. There is also an official off-leash dog area that is fenced near the entrance - however it is pretty dusty / muddy / miserable since the grass wont grow, and the area is not maintained very well.

I really enjoy this park! Its secluded and has a lot of space for your family and friends to enjoy a nice afternoon or evening together. It has a covered area, public restrooms, and benches for events. It also has a playground and an open field for activities. Sadly it does have a small parking lot.

This was my sons favorite Park to go to in a town filled with parks. It has a nice shaded area to say cool in the summer and because of the trees it is not nearly as windy as many of the other parks are in this windy town. It has a gazebo with BBQ pits and tables a public restroom that is clean and even a power outlet to plug stuff in if you need it for your picnic. There is also a large grass area for playing frisbee, setting up croquet or sunbathing. This peak is adjacent to the Rotary Park which is huge with the baseball fields, soccer fields, dog park and BMX park. But like my son said West Ellensburg park has the best playground toys and a working drinking fountain.
