Very family friendly park. I was impressed by how many families were out with there children. Also it was more diverse then i expected. Thts always a plus for me. Very clean park. Very peaceful. Lots of different birds. Nice tennis court. Boat launch. I highly recommend ppl to enjoy this beautiful location with friends & family. U wont be disappointed!

Round Lake has a nice splash pad and fun playground. There is a shelter with lots of tables. Skate park was very busy. Great sunset view.

Nice beach, when it is open. The playground is great on a hot day. The kids really love it as the water park is a lot of fun for them.

The food is always amazing and well worth the wait. The portions are huge. Me and my wife often split an entre. Today we are sharing the fall salmon.

Its a busy park, because its a great area! Skate park is just far enough away from the playground for those with mixed age kids. Great splash pad, plenty of tables and lawn area. Loop around the lake is paved and mostly flat.

They have nice and many tennis courts but without lights. I have seen lot people also enjoy lot of walking with pets ..seems a good place in locality to get out and have some air to improve immunity

The water and beach were fantastic for cooling down, though, it was a bit weedy. Little weeds, not a big deal. Great for kids! Excellent tennis courts. For a free park it had pizzazz.

The children really loved this park. During the summer months, they have a splash pad. There is a big Merry go round with a big net around it. The kids love to climb the rope and have me push!There is a restroom area. It is closed during winter.There is a skate park, tons of kids practicing!There is a pavilion with tilted tents and picnic tables.Tons of of walking pathsSwimming is available during the summer months.

COVID ExperienceAble to social distance towels/tents. No water fountains available. Splash pad was on, which was nice, lifeguarding available for a period of the day.Lake clean (for a lake), and beach sand alright, not fine grain like an ocean beach more like a sandbox.

They have a mile trail around the lake which is great to walk around. They also have a good play area for kids with splash pads. There’s a good sand volleyball court on the other side too. Nice place in Eden Prairie to spend a quiet summer evening with your family.

City keeps the area well maintained with plenty of seating around. Walking path is shared with bikes but not busy enough to be a problem.

We love this park. Its a lovely place to walk and play. It is beautifully maintained and clean. The beach and splash pad are wonderful in the summer time. The sunsets over the lake are amazing.

Canoeing and paddle boarding are the main reason we come here so often! Great equipment, even better hourly rates. Park is always clean and well maintained. Love it.

Amazing park. Splash pad is great for running around in the water and large playground equipment too. Nice shaded picnic area/tables right next to play area and large beach with life guards on duty. Highly recommend for little kids (theres a small kid playground too) to 10 years old.

Great park and walking trails unlike alot of parks in the winter this one still has a restroom available. We look forward to coming here again.

Great park.Water park and small beach for the families. Volleyball courts for all ages. A beautiful walking trail around the lake. The walk doesnt take terribly long, so you can do a few laps without any issues.Would definitely recommend bug spray here. Bugs get fierce at night and when the wind is low.Also a great place to grill out (charcoal grills available).Recommend to all.

Great park area and beach front

Cool place to take kids out to play. Water pad is open In the summer. Warming house is available in the winter for ice skating in the winter. Walking path goes around the lake. The park also has a skate park, basketball and tennis courts.

This place is awesome...I often will stop here to get a drink from their drinking fountains in the summer...they even have a fountain for dogs to drink out of since it is a dog park... theres a playground area with some cool things going on...theres this one ride which is like a huge merry go round thats fun for the kids to go on. Sometimes, there is a life guard watching the lake area for swimmers. Theres public bathrooms and a pavilion to eat at (usually Ill see the pavilion being used by a party of people, so Im not sure if you have to make reservations to eat there or not). Also, there are a ton of walking trails to go on around the area, and also there are ramps for skateboarding. Lots of birds are around there too. heheh, cheep cheeps. There are also a fair number of dogs, and mostly I see the dogs on a leash and behaving well, so things are under control and safe for everyone there. : )

Good variety of entertainment but occasionally difficult patrons to deal with and police presence for questionable people generally I in the area of the skate park.

Wow this place is beautiful and well maintained! Lots of parking, beautiful flowering trees, splash pad for kids, and an awesome-looking playground! The walk around the lake is lovely and varies between low tree cover to an in-the-woods feel. We will be back!

Warm clean lake. Splash pad was great. There are a lot of trash cans and recycle bins all over. Picnic tables, beach umbrellas. Nice shelter house for reservation.Lifeguards at beach, long list of safety rules.

Nice splash pad. There is a beautiful park to play at a lake to swim, areas to barbecue and fish. I will be back its gorgeous. Only thing the womans bathroom is a typical gross park bathroom. I would suggest using a bathroom somewhere else. The silly stalls dont close. But other than that a wonderful experience.

Great lake for a short walk. It took us 30-45 minutes at a slow to moderate walking pace. Lovely lake with wildlife and woods, but enough open area to appreciate the lake

So much fun for the whole family. The splash pad and playground structures are so fun. The beach is big and roomy but not too large that youll lose sight of your kids. Theres plenty of places to sit. Theres a public restroom, skatepark and different sporting fields/courts around, and paths to walk, bike or roll on. Lots of parking available

Its a nice ,clean, very family friendly area clean equipment, swimming beach area, tennis and basketball court along with a small skate park for the little and big daredevils!

This place is great for the kids the bugs werent bad at all. Amazing place to take little ones for the splash pad.

Pretty Place for 4th fireworks. Trail exactly 1 mile around so good for tracking exercise.

Lake stinks badly in mid September for some reason. Bathrooms very outdated and not stocked with toilet paper, etc. Playground is very nice!

Turned away by lifeguard stating that if youre not an Eden Prairie resident, youre not permitted to the park. She refused to give her name. Parks and Rec said that is not true, but she wouldnt allow me and my group of 12 kids to enjoy the park or splash pad.

Round Lake Park in Eden Prairie was, as always, amazing Park. Fun things for kids to do fun people to be around, clean, nice, definitely a place Ill be going back to work. We go here 4th of July every year. It is always well worth it.

Fun place for the whole family. I personally prefer man made lakes since you never know whats lurking deeper but this was still nice. Some little cropies would swim up and say hello (It was cropies this time. Next time Octopi).Park was great and they were hosting a corn fest thing. All in all, great atmosphere (till the octopi come around at least)

Nice lake having nice park, children activity centre, good play grounds, health activities, also having walking track.

Enjoy the ball fields. Would love if there were real restrooms at them though.

Very nice place

This park has it all - hockey rink, 8 recently-resurfaced tennis courts, even a skate park! Folks here are friendly. Its 1 mile around the lake, so you dont even need a device to capture your exercise!

The lake is so wonderful, with a lot of space to swim and a sectioned off place to swim laps. Its not too dirty. There are a few lifeguards on duty so there are a lot of safety breaks. Its nice to also have a splash pad and park right next to the lake. Only downside is the lake doesnt go too deep.

Great place to take kids during the summer for FREE fun. The splash pad is fun for all ages and nearby their is a beach with a lifeguard on duty. There are massive umbrellas for shade and nearby bathrooms that are NOT portapotties. There are picnic tables if you want to bring lunch and plenty of sand for building castles. A paved trail goes around the lake if kids like to ride bikes. There is also a skate park! Nice summer spot in Eden prairie.

Nice park for summer, in winter lot was partially plowed and trails unplowed. Open space, the lake, and intermittent trees add value.

This is the best splash pad weve experienced, its got a Sandy Beach, safe waters, a great rubberized splash pad with two multi-age large playsets and a great surrounding park. There is adequate seating and shade as well and the parking lot was recently expanded significantly. The upside no more fighting for parking even for big events like forth of July. The downside no more shaded parking so bring a sun shade.

Wifi, water features, a beach...what more could you ask for? The bathroom could definitely be cleaner / bigger if you wanted to find something to complain about.

A must have in every community.Near to it you Have playgrounds , indoor swimming pools , complete gym , kids care center , food joints , free splash pad etc.Need membership for indoor amenities good to take for whole family.During summer there is splash pad for kids at park , total fun .A good trail for walk , I think you can try fishing too here .On independence day and on 3rd July they do lots of activities and finally end with fireworks .

Great spot but seems that the splash pads water turns off too early. Many children out here want them on still after the shut off time. And the lake water isnt suitable for summing right now so i think the sprinklers should stay open later

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! My kids and their cousin had a blast!! Ages 2,6, and 12! We went when it was raining so no one was really there but then the rain let up and the sun came out so we all had a great time!! The girls were trying to catch the little fish in the lake. Water is clear. People leave a lot of toys there so they played with them.. Splash pad is so cool! the best Ive ever seen! Love that the playground has soft padding on the ground. ALso love the rope swinging wheel thing! Definitely want to bring my girls back again this summer!! So much fun here!!
